So I jumped right back into the fray of lore. This time instead of skyrim wiki, I used uesp to look into Nord, Breton, and imperial history etc. Is there anything I should know before I make further posts and get called out on them? Not that I can think of right now. Also, if you want, you could look up a walkthrough of Skyrim on YouTube, if you're really worried. But honestly, I don't think you have any reason to be worried. We know you haven't played the game, and that's perfectly fine. We're all good people here, and we want to help. All it takes is a 5 second edit to fix a simple mistake, and you don't make that many anyway. Tell me if there's anything else I can do. The point of the RP is merely to have fun, and I want all my members to have fun. Seeing people get frustrated, or not having fun, makes me sad. Because it makes me feel like I'm not doing my job as Admin.

I can help create characters for the college. It sort of crosses with my plot.

It's the realm of the Et'Ada and source of all magic.

Because it makes me feel like I'm not doing my job as Admin. Nah, I am having fun. It's one of the reasons I have sithis's as my favorite. Skyrim intrigues me. And tbh looking up lore isn't really a problem for me, as when I do I tend to click on a lot of things because I become interested. I know I get frustrated sometimes since I feel limited in knowledge, but I always get over it and look up stuff. So I hope none of you feel like I'm not having fun.

So apparently, tv tropes lists dragonborn as physical gods. is this true? besides the absorbing souls of dragon thing, tv tropes points out plenty examples of foolish NPC actions towards the Dragonborn. like Rochelle the red for example.

No, the Dragonborn are humans that have the soul of a dragon. However, Tiber Septim ascended to godhood after death.

Basically a mortal with the strength of a god.

A Dragonborn isn't much stronger than a regular human at full potential, but the ability to shout is incredibly useful. Generally there is something different that causes a Dragonbonr to become famous.
A Shezarrine, on the other hand, is different, but there are no more Shezarrines.

Nor true Dragonborns, as the Last Dragonborn, the one who killed Alduin in Sovngarde, was literally the last natural Dragonborn, as in born with the soul of a dragon.

Then what about Miraak? That guy was certainly on another level besides regular human. And even Alduin was strong. So, the Last Dragonborn has to have more power than a regular mortal to even come close to Miraak.

Miraak was only powerful because he made a deal with Hermaeus Mora and much of that power wasn't even his.

Yes. You can both find and forge armor and weapons. As Golurk has said, a Dragonborn is only stronger than a normal human because of his ability to Shout and learn Dovahzul. However, all Dragonborn seem to have a penchant for being heroes or warriors already. I theorize this is because the soul of a dragon pushes the child in a certain direction from a very early age, making the Dragonborn more of a natural warrior. This would explain why all Dragonborn seem to be gifted in war, in one way or another.
Also, Alduin wasn't a Dragonborn, or a human. He was an actual dragon, believed to be a Dragon God, and an aspect of Akatosh. Alduin was known in lore as the World Eater and Dragon of the End, because he was foretold to be the bringer of the apocalypse.
Edit: I get what you meant. The Dragonborn was able to defeat Alduin, because of the Elder Scrolls, and because of Dragonrend, and the events in Sovereigngard. In no way did the Last Dragonborn defeat Alduin on his own.

I'm waiting for it to become FTP. I didn't really like the combat as it seems too reliant on attack skills, and there are so many balancing issues, at least in the beta. Sun Fire OP. I also don't support Zenimax's market strategy, by having an initial cost, a subscription fee, large amounts of paid shops, and their stupid prepayment strategy.

Yeah, I don't much care for their market strategy either... It's Bull**** and stupid.
Speaking of ESO and Bulls, have you seen Dan Bull's YouTube videos about the three alliance anthems he created? They're f****** brilliant and downright awesome.
