You look over at Spy. "Here, I'll go with him."

Amelia looks surprised. "Are you sure?"

You nod. "Yeah, I don't mind. Besides, we won't be out there all night. If anything happens, I'll just make sure to scream really loud."

"Er...Alright, if you are certain zat is what you want..." Amelia lets the two of you through and you both sit down on a bench for a moment.

"Well, are you enjoying the party? I'm not exactly the type to enjoy them."

A. "Yeah, it's pretty fun!"
B. "It's alright."
C. "It's kind of boring."
D. "I usually like parties, but this one is absolute garbage."
E. "Meh."
F. "Who cares? Tell me more about you."

You decide to be honest. "It's alright. I haven't really participated much, to be honest."

There's a moment of silence as the two of you sit there.

"...I have a question for you. Do you believe that everything in this world is either good or evil?"

A. "Yeah, I guess so."
B. "...No."
C. "It's not really that simple."
D. "I don't really think there is good and evil. People are just people."
E. "...What do you think?"

"It's not really that simple. People are complex, you know?"

"Exactly. It is based on perspective and how one thinks. On my perspective I had to live where everything was 'evil' to me." He turns to look at you in the eyes. "How have you lived your life? Have you met anyone who wanted to hurt you or your family?"

A. "Um...no?"
B. "I guess?"
C. "...What?"
D. "Yes."
E. "You could probably say the other way around."
F. "Is there something you want to talk about?"
G. "That's enough of that. Let's get back inside to watch Vicky's show."

"Yes." You take a deep breath. "It's not all that strange for a detective to have made enemies before, right?"

"Yes. A Spy is the same way. You make enemies who would stop at nothing to hurt you. Even if it means hurting those close to you. That is the exact reason why I keep my name a secret."

The two of you hear what sounds like music coming from within the dining hall. "Vicky's show must be starting. We should probably head back so we can watch," you tell Spy.

You then notice Sylvia walking back to the dining hall from around back where you're sitting.

You call out to her. "Sylvia? What are you doing out here?"

She looks surprised to see you. "Oh, Leanne! I was just trying to get Erika to come back to the party. She ran away to her room. No luck though." Sylvia sighs. "I guess we should just go watch Vicky's show without her."

Without any complaints, the two of you head with Sylvia back to the dining hall as Vicky's show is starting.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Vicky Van Houttun's very own private show for all of you!" Flashy lights and music play as Vicky performs a dance on the stage. It's actually quite impressive.

Sam seems particularly disturbed by the body. "Haha... Th-this is another... prank, right? This isn't funny, Tucker..."

Aki, trembling as her eyes begin to well up with tears, walks over to Tucker and closes his eyes with her hands.

Tucker does not respond. He seems truly dead. You open your mouth to respond. "What...What happened...?"

Spy walks over and kneels down next to the body. "Looks like cause of death was an explosive... If the explosive went off in his room...." He closes his eyes in thought.

Everyone is interrupted, however, as Nekoshi suddenly pops up between Spy and Tucker's body. "Did somebody say cause of death? Cause I've got some death for you! A death report! The Nekoshi File!" Your student handbooks flash as they turn on by themselves, revealing a new file placed on them. "The Nekoshi file presents plenty of useful information to help you find the culprit in the Class Trial! Make sure you look it over carefully!" Nekoshi pauses a moment and stares at you all. "...What the heck are you doing standing around like that!? Get to investigating already! You have a limited amount of time until the Class Trial starts! You don't want to start without evidence, do you? You might as well lay down and die already!" Nekoshi turns away in frustration and walks off.

You look at the student handbook and the Nekoshi File within. "The Nekoshi File. This might have evidence we could use in it..." You open the file to find an image of Tucker's dead body as you found it. Information is listed to the side while a diagram to the left shows where the injuries were found on his body. You read the file out loud. "Tucker Rally, the Ultimate Geopolitical Analyst was found dead at 8:31 PM. Large burns can be seen throughout the body and the cause of death was an explosion. There are no other notable injuries found on Tucker's body." You close the file. "8:31 PM? That was only a few minutes ago. That must mean Tucker died around the time we heard that explosion. But what caused it...?"

You kneel down next to Tucker's body to inspect it closer. The Monokuma file was right. He's covered in burns. These were definitely the cause of death. You inspect the body a bit closer. Hm? It looks like the things he was carrying around in his pocket flew out during the explosion. His student handbook looks completely intact. These things must be pretty strong. But where's his room key?

You then realize you still have Tucker's room key in your pocket! You locked his door last night, but unlocked it this morning when you found Tucker the first time. You left it unlocked for the rest of the day after that. That means anybody could have been in Tucker's room all day. The killer could have easily gone inside and set up the explosive to kill Tucker. This means that the time frame of setting up the murder had to be sometime after this morning.

Spy stands and heads into Tucker's dorm room while you inspect the body. Vivian continues to sit next to Tucker's body with tears in her eyes. "Tucker..."

You feel as if you've gathered all the useful information you can from the body. You take a moment to think where you should investigate next.

You look up at Vivian. "Excuse me, Vivian, but could you answer a few questions I have? I understand the situation, but I need you to help me so we can figure out who did this."

Vivian takes a moment to compose herself before speaking to you. "Alright, well. If it helps us find the culprit. I'll do it. For Tucker..."

You nod. "Alright, what exactly happened?"

"Well, Tucker and I left during Vicky's performance because Sylvia left her lucky pickaxe in his room this morning. She asked us to get it for her because she needed it for something important she was planning on doing tonight. During the party specifically. Once Tucker opened the door to his room, there was a big explosion and he was sent flying backward. It was so loud I couldn't even hear after it. I tried to help Tucker, but...but there was nothing I could do." Tears begin to fill her eyes again as she sniffles.

"Hm. So Sylvia asked Tucker to come here during the party. I see." If that's the case then her lucky pickaxe must be in Tucker's room.
