Main CharactersA short summary of all the main characters introduced so far. Heros[/u] Sophie (Main Character): The Main Character of the cyoa as voted by you guys. Sophie is a bird laguz and former best friend of Ann before they became lovers. Determined and friendly but can take charge when she needs to. She is starting to come into her own as a leader even if she feels slightly overwhelmed. Most likely to be seen preening her feathers when no one is looking. Ann: Younger sister of the goddess Anna. Like any Anna she is a skilled merchant and her skills at making negotiations is second to none. Yet she does have a nose for treasure almost to good at times. She is friendly if not a bit shrewd. Sophie was her best friend until she confessed her love for her. The two are now engaged. The one whos most obsessed with Shinies Rosalina: The mother of the group (well she is over 3000 years old....) and the first one to find Sophie and Ann when they arrived in the Mushroom Kingdom. She treated there wounds upon arrival and even trained them. She hasn't talked about her past a lot but it has been noted that she was a little girl who traveled space (and time) to find her mom. Sophie and Ann lovely refer to her as Mama Rosalina even though it makes her feel older. One day when Rosalina and Peach were having a private moment Rosalina called Peach mom. After some intinal awkwardness Peach came to an understanding with Rosalina and now is her secret mom. Rosalina is extremely kind and very motherly, yet to those that really notice there is a hint of sadness she does her best to high.The one who desperately needs some alone time. Donkey Kong: The leader of the bunch and you know him well. He's finally back to kick some tail. Oh......wait wrong game. Anyways after DKs latest adventure taking back his island from a bunch of animal vikings. He was chillin on the island when he received a letter from Rosalina asking for help. He rushed at the chance to go on another adventure. Unbeknownst to him that two of his greatest foes have just met one another and have big plans for him. DK is just one chill person when he isn't on an adventure. Most have a hard time understanding him but those use to him understand what he's trying to say. The most likely to go bananas. Zack: A traveling swordsman who was on a quest to recover memories of his past. He was first encountered storming Bowser's Castle in exchange for a wish to be granted. Sophie and Ann rescued him when he was caught off guard by Bowser's minion. Afterwards he stuck around with the party. Later he would meet a mysterious flower girl who seemed to know a lot about him. Apparently they were once in love and that he was a solider in his past life. He's calm, cool, collected, tries his hard to be serious even though when around May shows a softer side. The most likely to be seen meditating under a waterfall. May: The number one thief apprentice to Ms. Meowz. She was found when she got lost in Bowser's castle and the group stumbled upon her in Bowser's Treasure room. May was very scared and frightened about being lost so the group decided to bring them with her. May quickly fell in love with Zack and the two are nearly (but not quite because they are only at Rank A support) inseparable. May would tell Sophie and Zack about her past about how she was orphaned during Walarts invasion of Valm. Feeling alone and forgotten she flung herself into the Outrealm gate hoping for something better. Now she's extremely upbeat, friendly, and lives for the moment. The most forgetful of the group Peach: The Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. The group found her when she was a prisoner captured by Bowser (again). After being saved by Sophie and Friends she wanted to travel with them and in the end. Peach is extremely kind and warm hearted and is someone whos always looking to throw a party. Most likely to be in another castle. Jesus: A traveling Priest who has the unique ability to channel elemental magic through his staff. He is a self proclaimed ladies man and a shameless flirt. Luckily his skills with elemental magic and healing abilities make it worth it to keep him around. He and his twin sister actually share a deep and dark secret that no one knows about. The one voted most shameless flirt Joanna: Jesus's twin sister who's a dedicated solider and is skilled with a lance. While Jesus is more open about being a flirt, Joanna is more subtle. Joanna loves her younger brother and was his protector growing up. She also has a love for fashion and uses her new Yoshi daughter as a test subject for all her designs. Joanna is "a take charge" type of person, she's also protective of the ones she loves. The one most likely to throw a fashion show Great Gonzales Jr. (Aka Yoshi) He was a baby Yoshi that was hatched at the Glitz Pitz during one of Mario's adventures. He would travel with Mario on his quest to save Peach and prevent the resurrection of the Shadow Queen. After him and Mario parted ways, Yoshi stayed at the Glitz Pitz and became a world famous Brawler. However one day Yoshi received word that his island was under attack by an old foe Lord Crump. Lord Crump unleashed his newest invention a biomechanical beast known as Yobbi. With the help of Sophie and her group Yoshi was able to defeat Lord Crump and Yobbi. Feisty and is always looking for new talent for the glitz pitz. The one who's always ready to rumble Captain Syrup: Leader of a group of notorious pirates called the Kitchen Land Pirates. Had multiple encounters with her enemy turned rival in Wario some better then others. She captured Sophie when her group tried to steal her ship. Sophie had to prove her worth in a one on one duel. Afterwards she liked what she saw and decided to give her passage to Diamond City and follow Sophie. Syrup is laid back, but cunning, shes always looking out for her next biggest hit but she has a strong sense of honor. The one who wants all the booty

Okay so I been debating this for a while. About whether I want to continue or not. Also doesn't help that I been indelibly lazy and procrastinating over this. For the most part stats are done and everything like that are done.
I was debating if I should keep the current chapter format the same or make it more Fire Emblem like where its dialogue, prep, fight, end of battle, etc. I think I will keep it the same for now. With the Acts being the major change in tone (baiscally one Arc to the next.)
For the first couple of Acts since they are more Mario like in flow it will stay more open and each chapter has multiple things to do. While the 3rd and 4th act are more Fire Emblem like.
Anyways next post will be a poll.

Okay one major change is I am making is to the skills. For the most part it will be kinda of Fire Emblem related but for a majority it will be customized or orginal skills. This has to be one of the things tripping me up the most.
So anyways here are the category of skills.
A.)Weapon based offensive
(a la skills focusing on the actual weapons being used and granting a type of benefit off of that.)
B.)Offensive based combat
(stats or passive skill favoring offensive based combat.
C.)Defensive based skill
(Stats or skills relating to defense.)
D.)Support
(Skills that offer a passive effect whether its extra damage or passive ability.)
E.)Misc.
(Skills or bonuses that may not effect combat directly but offer benefits outside of combat.)
F.) Custom
(Always have the option of making up your own skill. Only restrictions are it has to relate to the character and there current class in some way. A la no giving Anna the ability to fly unless she has access to something winged. Also no giving sword based ability to an archer.)
Okay now I know these characters have skill but those no longer apply. Instead you now have the option of selecting x number of skill for them. Some characters and classes will have special abilities which are an inherit part of the class or character. Example Sophie will always be considered a winged unit and always have there benefit and weakness.
Just select the letters of the category you want.
Sophie: (choose 3)

May: (choose 3)
Zack: Special ability Ninjitsu able to use tomes that are D level or lower. (Choose 3)
DK: Special ability bond. Can use Rambi as a mount or an assist character. (Choose 4)

Location: Deck of Captain Syrup's ship
"Well looks like we got some time, before we make landfall," Captain Syrup informed the group.
"How much prep is really needed?" Ann asked.
"Hmph I resent that question,". "Anyways I have to make sure my crew is probably prepared in my absence,". "I have to hand out duties to the various members, and set up a chain of command,". "Plus make any last minute preparations," Syrup told Ann.
"But, but, but city of diamonds," Ann sighed.
Syrup made her way towards Sophie and leaned towards her. "Psst are you sure about this one being your right hand?" Syrup whispered to Sophie.
"Sadly, yes but I do have my questions about her sometimes," Sophie whispered back.
"Well you ever need a new advisor I am always available,". "Now if you excuse me I got some last minute prep,". "Probably be a good idea to do some last minute prep too," Syrup told Sophie as she went below deck.
"Hmm it couldn't to hurt to get some last minute prep in, plus it would be nice to check in on everyone," Sophie thought.

Now that there is some down time everyone went to their sperate ways and ended up in different parts of the ship

DK was underneath in the bowls of the ship checking in on his friend Rambo the Rhino. Yoshi was wandering around when he came across DK.
“Hey, DK what’s up?” Yoshi asked.
“(Ehh the sooner we get off the ship the better),”. (Not really a big fan of pirates or their ships),” DK replied.
“Oh I guess you had a rough history with them,” Yoshi repleid.
“(You can say that, stealing our source of food, kidnapping me, my nephew and varouis other family members),” DK said.
“Yeah I can imagine, didn’t really have that much problems with pirates,”. “Met this really cool pirate captain ghost, when traveling with Mario,”. “He seemed scary at first but was actually pretty chill guy once you got to know him,”. “Kinda of the same thing with this Syrup person, she seemed rough and rigid at first but deep down she seems like a pretty swell person,” Yoshi replied.
“(Ehh I guess she did let us go in the end),”. “(I guess in the end we did kinda of tresspass on her ship),” DK more or less grunted.
“Anyways I wanted to ask you about joining the Glitz Pitz tour, I really think you would like it,”. “You wanna have a spar or something,” Yoshi asked.
“(Sure next time we meet up lets have a friendly spar),”. “(This Glitz Pitz thing sounds interesting,)”. DK grunts.
“Okay next time we meet your on,” Yoshi replied.
Sophie finds Rosalina towards the front of the ship and goes to join her.

“Hey mama Rosalina I just wanted to apologize about everything that has happened so far,” Sophie said.
“You already apologized dear its fine,”. “So why are you really here?” Rosalina asked without taking off her eyes off of the sea.
“Oh nothing I just wanted to see you that’s all,”. Sophie said.
“Do you miss her?” Rosalina asked again without looking at Sophie.
“Miss who,” Sophie askes Rosalina.
“Your mom do you miss her, do you ever finding yourself regretting coming here?” Rosalina asks again.
“Why do you ask?” Sophie asked.
“I just wonder if you ever think about her or have you moved on from her?” Rosalina asks.
“Whoa whats with the questions about my mom lately?” Sophie asks.
“I am just trying to make conversation, you know you never really told me much about her,”. “I know you think of me as your Mama but you know I could never replace her,”. “I never told you how became what I did have I?” Rosalina says to Sophie.
“No, you never did tell me your story,” Sophie said.
“Well if you answer my question perhaps I will tell you about my story,” Rosalina told Sophie.
“Okay, but well yes I do think about my mom and I do sorta, kinda miss her,”. “When I am by myself or with Ann sometimes, I do look towards the stars and wonder how my mom, little brother, and little sister are doing,”. “I can only imagine what she’s going through right now, I wonder if she still thinks I am alive,”. “I wonder if she misses me at all, or if she moved on,”. “Sometimes I feel like I would give up anything to see her again,” Sophie said as a single tear escaped.
Rosalina giggled a little at Sophie’s response and she turned around and gave Sophie a warm smile. “You sound a bit like me when I was younger, wanting to see my mom,”. “Sorry for putting you through that,”. “Its just I wanted to know if you were trying to replace her with me,” Rosalina told Sophie.
“As much as I think of you as a mom, I know your not my mom,” Sophie told Rosalina.
“I really hope I can meet her one day,” Rosalina told Sophie.
“Yeah me too I hope you can meet her one day also,”. “I cant wait to introduce her to my Mushroom Kingdom Mama,” Sophie told Rosalina.
“Hehe your Mushroom Kingdom Mama, that’s certainly a new one,” Rosalina giggled.
“Next time we get some private time promise to tell me your story,” Sophie asked.
“Okay that’s a promise to my Mushroom Kingdom Daughter,” Rosalina told Sophie.

Javier was wandering the ship when he came across Zack. It's been a while since the two had a nice chat.

"Holla Señor Zackm,". "?Como Estas?" Javier asked Zack. Zack looked over towards Javier like what the hell your talking about.
"Oh right sorry force of habit sometime,". "Pretty much just saying hello,". "Also asking how are you doing?" Javier said.
"Oh why didn't you just say so instead of speaking that what language was it again?" Zack asked.
"Oh yeah me and my sister speak Spanish, its not a language commonly spoke around here,". "It's also not commonly spoken back in our home world either,". "So sorry for any confusion," Javier said to Zack.
"That's umm fine,". "Then again where are you and your sister from if I may ask?" Zack asked Javier.
"Oh some small and remote village on the Plegia and Yulssie border,". "You probably never even heard of it," Javier replied very calmly.
Zack's expression suddenly turned very serious towards Javier. "Oh try me," Zack told Javier.
"Well like I said it was a remote village along the borders," Javier said matter of factly.
"You know the way you make it sound it's almost like you saying you came from Plegia,". "Like you threw in the Yulessia part just to throw people off of your scent,". "Very interesting don't you think," Zack said eyeing Javier.
"Yes that's a very interesting theory indeed,". "So what if I really did grow up in Plegia?". "That isn't an issue is it?" Javier replied just as calmly.
"Not at all," Zack replied. "Just know I have my eyes on you," Zack told Javier as he walked away.
"Hmph he's certainly more clever then I initially thought,". "So you wish to have a dance of wits with me good sir,". "Your on," Javier thought as a grin spread across his face.
