Magick, the lifeblood of the universe. Existing within every creature, but only accessible by one race.
Humanity.
With this wonderful tool, mankind prospered, creating massive empires and declaring themselves masters of the cosmos. However, like all great things, this did not last.
Humanity was nearly wiped clean from the realm of Orichalcus, leaving only a handful of survivors.
The truth behind what had transpired to cause such a loss has been eroded by time, and the few that know the frightening truth have been cast out by society as fools.
But now, 3000 years later, humanity has grown powerful once more, bending Orichalcus to its will with the might of Magick.
There are seven kinds of Magick, and each person is attuned to one type. Even attempting to wield Magick of another category is incredibly dangerous. The lower circles are more common among the citizens of men, but do not let this lack of rarity deceive you, as they are just as powerful.
The 7th circle, Pure Magick.
Manipulation over pure mana, allowing the user to shoot beams and create explosions while also being able to give mana physical form in constructs.
The 6th circle, Elemental Magick.
Control over the elements of fire, wind, water, earth, and metal along with the ability to generate some of these elements.
The 5th circle, Shape Magick.
The ability to augment oneself and willing participants, changing shape and granting new abilities.
The 4th circle, Illusion Magick.
Power to control the mind, the senses, cognition, and memories.
The 3rd circle, Dimensional Magick.
This is the control over space, time, and gravity. Often considered the most powerful, but requires immense concentration and is very unstable.
The 2nd circle, Dark Magick
The ability to take away positive life energy and add negative death energy along with producing and controlling darkness.
The 1st circle, Light Magick
The ability to take away negative death energy and add positive life energy along with producing and controlling light.
There are infinite possibilities when it comes to using Magick, but these can only be unlocked through intense training.

Name: Inners Okirak
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Magick Type: Pure Magick - 7th Circle
Appearance: Inners is around 5'10'' in height. He's not actually all that muscular. This is likely because he tends to get lazy with his physical training. He always focused on magical training instead. His hair is brown and mid length, consistently having a messy "I just rolled out of bed" look to it. His eyes are somewhere between a brown and amber color, or perhaps both as on odd mix. He wears a basic, solid color, red shirt with short sleeves along with fairly simple, brown pants. However, he wears some leather armor attachments over these. A sleeveless, leather vest functions as a chest plate while also protecting his back, leather gauntlets are worn on both of his hands, protecting from his hands up to his elbows. Some basic leather padding can also be seen on his pants, protecting his upper leg. Completing all of this, he has leather boots to protect his feet that come up and provide protection for his lower leg as well. Finally, he carries a bag with him to store away objects of importance.
Notable Details: Inners was born to the Great Sage of Okirak Village. Ever since he was able to walk and control his magical power, he was trained in using it. Inners' father was usually quite busy with all of his work and didn't have much time for his son outside of his training. Inners' mother had a similar situation, often watching over her other children and being kept busy. So Inners spent quite a bit of time working on his magick alone. He'd attempt to construct different things. First they were simple. Walls and platforms. But he continued on and started creating more complex objects. Weapons and armor. He even learned how to create small animals and control them, although this required some focus. Hometown (Give description of home town): Inners was born in Okirak Village, a small village found in the north, secluded by the nations and nestled quietly in a peaceful valley. Small mountains surround the valley on all sides, keeping others out. The forest and natural fresh water rivers that flow from the mountain help to sustain the life there. In Okirak Village, there are actually two separate sides to it. This is done on purpose for when the next Great Sage and his Guardian are to be raised. While the current Great Sage watches over the whole village and protects it, he and his Guardian are to raise their children separately from each other. They must never meet until the day of the ceremony. It is tradition. Then, on the day of the ceremony, the next Great Sage and his Guardian are to meet during a great festival before setting off together on a journey through the valley. Upon returning, he will be given the title of Great Sage and the village passes down to him. The village itself is a calm and happy place. It feels as if nothing could ever happen. They're known for their sheep. Okirak is only one small village within the valley, however. There are a few other villages around, keeping things open for trade between them. The only location they've been locked out of contact with are those outside of the valley.
Weapon (if any): Inners doesn't carry any actual weapon with him. Instead, he tends to prefer conjuring his own weapons with his magick. While he's usually fine using whatever he decides to create, he tends to go for a traditional sword shape used in his village.

Name:Baron Van Gender:Male/ Half Vampire Age: Appears to be early 30's but is close to a 1000 years.
Magick Type: Type 6 (flames) and average Type 2 user. Plus certain Vampire powers.
Appearance: Tall, Slender, his messy brown hair has become longer and silver, his skin has become paler, has a pair of twin gauntlets, when in the Cathedral wears loose fitting cloths and sometimes fancy armor. When he leaves wears a pair of shades to cover his blood shoot golden eyes, a hat to block out the sun.
Notable Details:
After along journey Baron finally managed to find his long lost father. It turns out his dad was a high ranking member in vampire knight in the Midnight Cathedral. There was some tense moments but eventually his dad came to accept after a fateful meeting with him, his mom, and his dad. Now Baron having chosen to give up his life of adventuring has chosen to stat at the Cathedral to train and help out with daily duties.
Baron met a wolf laguz in his travels who was being held prisoner by some thiefs. Baron easily dispatched of the bandits and much to his surprise the big wolf was actually a young woman. Baron and Catie would go from friends to family to lovers to husband and wife. They eventually became mother and father to twins a boy and a girl.
After a result of much grueling and intense training. Baron was able to master many of his laten vampire abilities. As a result his elemental proficiency has dropped and he has lost the ability to control the wind. Yet he has picked up the ability to weild death type magic. Plus the usual super human speed, strength, flexibility, etc. Abity to turn into a bat and wolf for short amount of time.
Hometown: Midnight Cathedral
Weapon (if any): A sword that has been infused with special metals allowing him to channel flames through it. Also can make various weapons out of his blood.

Name: Catie Van
Gender: Female/ Wolf Laguz
Age: Appears to be mid 30's but is actually close to 750 years old. Appearance: She is average height, Fair skin, Long Pink hair, she wears in a ponytail sometimes, she has wolf like ears, and a silver tail she keeps wrapped around her waste, she tends to wear dresses or a blouse and skirt. In wolf form she appears to be a 15 ft. Silver wolf. Still likes to keep her hair pink but some of the silver streaks from her original hair color to shine through. Catie also wears a pair of red glasses more so just for show it makes her feel more mature.
Magic Type: Shape and Type 2
Notable Details: Catie is the last of her pack of traveling Wolf kin. Her pack were nomadic in nature and tend to travel where the winds take them. Catie being the only daughter of the leader of the pack one day wanted to explore on her own. Her dad forbid her from but Catie wouldn't listen and one day she snuck out and ran away from the pack.
Catie would immediately come to regret it because she was easily lost. Catie would try to hunt and do everything on her own. Yet she was still to inexperience and had a rough time of it. On her way back to her pack Catie ran into a group of traveling performers. They seemed okay at first but they had other plans on there mind and made her into a side show. The performers took advantage of Catie's nativity and treated her cruelly.
It would only get worse when the performers were attacked by bandits. The bandits treated her worse and only saw her as a form of entertainment. Catie was slowly losing any form of hope, compassion and was starting to become more wolf like in mannerisim. Catie was becoming more withdrawn and more hopeless with each passing day til one fateful day.
A young man with a black cat came across her and offered the bandits a price to release Catie. They refused and then drew there weapons on him. Catie just went back into her cage and felt like that this boy was just another victim. She closed her eyes but when she tried to sleep she could here scream the bandits scream in horror. When the last screams were done the young boy looked at her with kind and synaptic eyes and offered to let her free. Catie was untrusting and didn't know his true attentions. Yet little by little he would win her over t she felt comfortable returning into her human form. The young boy was completely shocked about seeing her in this form and fainted. Later he would come to find out his name was Baron and his pet cat Sam were travelers. Baron was on a journey to find his dad and he offered to let her come. Catie agreeded until she can meet up with her pack.
So the two would travle and become even closer. Catie would start falling for Baron. One day they ran across her pack and they were killed in a vicious surprise attack being lead by the bandits brothers that were killed by Baron. Catie was devastated and began to blame herself. From that day Baron made a promise to her that she can remain with him as long as she wants. The two would become friends, then family, then lovers, evetually Baron would ask for her hand in marriage.
Catie despite the years of abuse and the weight of her packs death is one of the friendliest person you would ever meet. She is always excited to meet knew people and she has the strangest ability to make friends where ever she goes. She can be a bit to friendly at first. Catie is very excitable but she has calmed down over time.
Catie now is older and helps Baron with his duties at the Cathedral. She also does her own form of training and is now a master archer, is a master swordswoman, and is very skilled using a whip. Also as part of her training she has learned to use some form of Type 2 magic along her type 5 shape shifting magic. Finally, she is able to transform into a 15 ft. wolf and also a new direwolf form that appears to be a hell hound and is capable of breathing flames.
Hometown: Midnight Cathedral
Weapons: Nightingale: A beautiful Black Bow that has rose like designs running around outer edge of the bow. Uses sky black arrow as dark as the night sky.
End of Days: A nice slende, black raiper. It can only be weilded by a skilled swords man as its meant more to target certain parts of the foe and not cause avert damage.
Empress Whip: A legendary whip.

Appearance: Ken is 6'2'' and muscular. He does not skip out on his physical training. Ever. His broad shoulders and strong build combine with his height to give off quite the bodyguard type of feel. Regardless of his size, however, his ability with stealth is impressive, being capable of walking without sound and seemingly appearing and disappearing. Ken's hair is black and short, being well groomed and cared for. His wolf ears and tail share the same black color. His eyes are a grayish blue color. His face always seems calm and serious. He has a relaxing presence. He wears a black shirt and pants that stay close to his skin to avoid snagging during missions. Long, blue diamonds can be seen going from the shoulder to the wrist on his sleeves and there's one on the front and back of his shirt. A white wolf head outline can be seen on his front, the symbol of Okirak Village. His pants are simply black as well with the blue diamond design on the sides. He wears a dark blue sash-like belt that holds his various darts, bombs, tricks, and traps and a white sheath on his back containing his katana, the traditional blade of Okirak Village. Finally, to tie it all together, he wears simple, black shoes and black gloves as well as a black scarf around his neck that he may use to cover his face.
Notable Details: Ken was born to the Guardian of the Great Sage of Okirak Village. Ever since he was young, he began his training to protect the new Great Sage. His mother taught him how to hone his stealth, strength, speed, and reflexes along with how to use the katana and various weapons passed down traditionally from Guardian to Guardian. Not only this, but she taught him how to use his natural abilities as an Okir. Okir aren't capable of using magic, but they can sense it. In fact, their abilities in sensing magic are incredibly powerful. This makes them valuable allies for mages.

Name: Talia al Alhasifa Gender: Female Age: 32 Magick Type: 4
Appearance: Tan skin, long, black ponytail, almond-colored eyes. Tall, but on the scrawny side. Usually wears poofy, white pants and a white shirt with green vest and a short, white cape. A few straps are sewn in the back of the vest beneath the cape, for storage.
Notable Details: Grew up living with an adoptive mother. Fell in with a small gang committing petty crimes, which gradually devolved into increasingly violent crimes. She was dumped by the rest as a teenager during a job gone wrong, and barely escaped arrest. She later took to solo work. Though she's not the most respected in her field, she has a fairly steady stream of clients and gets a few high-profile targets.
Hometown (Give description of home town): Bali, capital of Alibab. Desert town with a few sizable water sources. Full of white-stone buildings of varying quality from the ornate palace in the center of town to ramshackle shacks on the outskirts.

Now its time for the new generation of adventures. The story of there parents behind them this time the story belongs to there kids. Name: Barry Van Gender: Male/ Human, Vampire, Wolfkin
Age: Appears to be 16 but is really 150 years old.
Magick Type: Type 5 and weak type 2
Appearance:
Has shoulder length silver hair and a pair of brown eyes. Little bit of redness to them but not really bloodshot. Tall and built. Tends to wear a wide brim hat to keep the sun out and to hide his pointed silver floof ears. Has a small silver tail. Wears a long white coat to keep the sun off his back and hide his tail and baisc armor underneath.
Notable Details: Barry Van is the Son of Baron and Catie and is the grandson of Helel. He was born in the Midnight Cathedral and spent most of his life there. There would be times he would go explore the outside but never really too far. He can be a bit snarky and comes across as know it all at times. Despite that deep down he's actually really shy about some of his wolf like features. Also Barry is more quite and reserve but deep down has a really nice and softer side only those that are really close have ever seen. Even fewer have seen how much he loves things that are considered cute.
He spent most of his times reading books and gaining as much knowledge as possible. He sociable enough to hold a conversation but turns into a blathering mess when talking to a cute girl a fact that his sister, mom, and Aunt Talia constantly bring up.
He's finally old enough that Baron and Catie agree that him and his sister can get a chance to explore the world. Well of course as Sam accompanies him and keeps a close eye on them. Barry is kinda of excited to go and see the world. Not as excited as his sister though.
In battle Barry can use Type 2 magic to launch orbs of darkness and infuse darkness into his weapon. He can use type 5 magic to either make his claws bigger or sharper, his fangs, and if he has too full wolf. Yet turning into a Wolf unlike Catie takes alot of his strength and energy plus he can only take that form for shorts amount of time

Weapon (if any): Claws, Fangs, Twin blades. Name: Cathrine Van Gender: Female/ Human, Wolf Laguz, Vampire
Age: 150 years old but appears to be 16
Magick Type: Type 6 with a proficiency in fire and Type 5
Appearance: Has long flowing Pink hair (naturally Silver but learned how to make her hair Pink from her mom), tall, ample, athletic build, unlike Barry she wears a shorter brim hat to allow her pointy pink ears to stick out. She wears a cloak similar to barry thats white and long enough to cover her back but has no promblems cutting a slit down the middle for her tail to swing back and forth. Underneath her cloak basic shirt along with a simple cloth and a pair of shoes. Her skin is pale and her features are stunning. Where as Catie is more somber with her apperence, Catherine is more bold and isn't afraid to wear makeup or to show off herself.
Notable Details:
In a way a complete opposite of Barry and that instead of being quite and reserve shes outgoing, and free spirited. Cathrine has no problem talking or interacting with a group and in fact prefers to be with a group of people compared to Barry who much rather be alone and with his books. Cathrine also chooses to Embrace her Wolf side and isn't afraid to show off her ears and tails.
Cathrine is extremely friendly and like her mom has a knack for getting along with people. Even though Cathrine does tend to be a little to friendly at first with Barry or her dad having to remind her about boundaries. Catherine is happy go luck but also extremely carefree and kinda of reckless and not aware of her surroundings. Which is one of the reasons why Baron and Catie agreed on Cathrine to journey and see the world but only if Sam goes along.
Cathrine like her brother can use shape magic to make her claws or fangs grow stronger and bigger in combat. She doesn't have as a hard time turning into a wolf and can hold her form longer then Barry but its not as strong. Both her and her brother have a heighten sense of hearing and smelling and aren't as weaken to the sun like Baron. But fighting in the sun does weaken them a bit.
Cathrine is unable to use Dark Magic but is able to use Fire magic. She is able to conjure flames and able to an extent control flames. Her magic isnt as strong as Barons and her control isnt as well but she will grasp it one day she hopes.

Name: Gryhn Lang
Gender: Male
Age: 35, not that it matters anymore.
Magick Type: 5 - Shape Magic
Notable Details: Originally from an industrial town, he never took to magitech or science. He much preferred to spend his time with nature, being one of the few Life mages in his area. On the last of his many camping trips, he was bit by a werewolf. Desperate for a cure, he attempted a Type 1 Magick ritual. It was well beyond his abilities but he had no other options. He pumped every last drop of Mana in his blood into ridding the Lycanthropy from his body.
When he woke up, he was in a ruined campsite. He was a wolf. And he was standing over the half eaten corpse of a young mage like him. Or like he used to be. The ritual he attempted backfired tremendously. Instead of healing him, it empowered the Lycanthropy disease. The wolf consumed him, and no trace of his original self was left. He lived as a dire wolf for a decade, until by chance, he had succeeded in attacking and killing a mage.
When the wolf ate the heart of mage, that mage's mana came surging into Gryhn, allowing him to reassert his human consciousness, and with enough effort, the human form of that mage. But this control can only last as long as he still has mana. As his mana pool dwindles he loses control of his other side, and he returns to being a mindless dire wolf. And the only way for him to restore mana is to eat the heart of a mage.
His Lycanthropy isnt limited to just transforming between wolf and human forms. His Magick was corrupted, but it now works in tandem with the disease. He can morph into any creature he has eaten the heart of, be it human or animal. But beyond a healing factor, this is the only way his magick manifests.
Either the wolf, or his own Magick saves him whenever he tries to kill himself, so he is left with a choice. Become a true monster and live, or keep looking for ways to die.
Appearance: A giant silver-black wolf. 10 feet long, and 5 feet at shoulder height when on all fours. Since he lost his original form, he usually takes the form of one of the mages he has killed for their mana.
Hometown (Give description of home town): Newtonia - An industrial port town of business and magitech. It's a busy place, and Gryhn stays away since he doesn't trust himself around a lot of people.
Weapon (if any):
Gryhn's default form is that of a giant Dire Wolf. It is incredibly strong and passively resistant to most magic, but he can't use any magic of his own besides healing. He can morph into any animal he has eaten the heart of, but the process is slow and not possible while in combat. Wounds that would otherwise be permanent are healed when morphing out of and back into that form. Does anyone remember Animorphs? Yeah, like that.
In order to remain in control, he must consume the heart of a magical creature once every month before the full moon. This time limit is significantly decreased if he does a lot of morphing or healing.
His possible morphs include the forest animals that he hunts as a wolf. On his suicide run, he has been attempting to hunt increasingly dangerous and powerful beasts in order to finally find one that can kill him. As a result, he can expend very large amounts of mana to morph into a few mythical creatures, but he almost certainly loses control of them due to the effort.

Name: The Seal of Orichalcus
Gender: None
Age: Activated 2 months ago
Magick Type: None. Immune to magic. Appearance: The Seal of Orichalcus is an 8 foot tall animated armor, therefore towering over any ordinary humanoid. It has of course an humanoid shape itself, while quite bulky. The round helmet is of a very dark blue coloration and his decorated by spikes hanging out from it's back, falling all the way to the middle of the Seal's back. These spikes could be considered as the artifact's hair. The visor of the helmet is a simple line through which pale purple eyes of pure magic gaze through, piercing any living being's soul. The chestplate is black and seems to have multiple layers. It doesn't contrast with the helmet and arms, since their blue is very dark. The black shoulder pads are circular and have an ancient symbol of them, the symbol of the civilisation who built the Seal. (probably gonna draw that symbol in the future, symbol are not that hard to draw.) The left arm is the same color as the helmet. The shape looks like a normal human arm. The right arm is disproportionally big and has pale violet veins of pure magic visibly coursing in it. It ends with an oversized hand, which has various glowing symbols on it. The legs are bulky and black, ending with pointy boots.
Notable Details: Long ago, an ancient civilisation was researching magic in ways no one could even imagine. In prevention of anyone becoming too powerful, this civilisation created a weapon capable of sealing anyone's magic, this weapon taking the form of an animated armor. The weapon was finished, but there was never a threat big enough to justify activating it. The civilisation lived in secret, yet ended up being infiltrated by the evil organisation of Orichalcus. This organisation found out about the weapon and activated it themselves, becoming it's masters. It took one month, with the help of the armor, for them to wipe out the civilisation. They renamed the weapon "The Seal of Orichalcus" and are now using it to eliminate anyone they want. The Seal consistently returns to the ruins of the civilisation who built him and resides there, in this unknown location, waiting for it's masters' instructions. This animated armor has been seen by travelers. Gossip about it is running around. There's even a man pretending he was attacked by it and was able to reason with it. The Seal of Orichalcus only seals the magic from it's targets. It seems to only kill if it has to.
Hometown: Kalandria. Was once a secret civilisation studying magic in all ways possible. The architecture was impossible, but now, everything is just a pile of rubbles thanks to Orichalcus' attack on Kalandria. The location of this fallen city is currently unknown.
Weapons: Long Spear, Crossbow, Spiked shield. The right arm can seal away a person's magic.

Appearance: Tall and thin with long, silver hair. Libra's eyes are an unnatural golden color that throw most off guard when noticed. He often wears a clean, white suit along with matching pants. Along with them, he wears black gloves and shoes. On his face, he wears black glasses. Every movement he makes is cool and calculated, always appearing to be one step ahead of everything.
Notable Details: Libra leads The Seal of Orichalcus, an organization formed to seal away magick forever. Believing magick to be an unfair and corrupting power, this organization hopes to do away with it forever. Once magic is eliminated, the world will finally reach a true state of equality where those unable to use magick will not be controlled by those with it. When Libra stumbled across the ruins of an ancient civilization, Kalandria, searching for materials for his magitech business, he activated an armor with incredible power. The power to seal away magick. Discovering the truth to these ruins and their attachment to what happened years ago, Libra continues to search for them, taking the sealed weapons and artifacts within in pursuit of the destruction of magick.
Hometown (Give description of home town): Libra runs Reliquum Magitech in Newtonia. It's a very successful business and most people of status look to Libra with an air of respect, given his work in advancing technology.
Weapon (if any): Libra wears a blue ring on his finger that is capable of absorbing magick and then releasing that same magick that it has absorbed. He also carries a magitech chain whip, fused with the power of elemental magick. It has fire, earth, water, wind, and metal settings with each having different effects.

Appearance: Mandy Mera and Cora Cheem form a humanoid chimera. Mandy has the body of a lion with a goat head. Cora is the snake tail and she is her own individual. Mandy's head has white fur and small spiral horns. She has yellow eyes, which makes her seem even more unnatural than her appearance should be. Her lion body is covered with golden fur, but of course, for decency, Mandy wears clothes. She wears a purple shirt under a chainmail, which itself is under a brown gambeson. She has brown leather braces on her wrists, but the rest of her arms are uncovered. Powerful crooked claws ornate her hands. She wears casual black pants, which have straps that attaches them to her brown leather boots. Cora is simply a dark green snake that serves as Mandy's tail. However, she wears glasses, which are attached to her thanks to some straps. Otherwise, they would always fall off.
Notable Details: Mandy and Cora are born in a peaceful village of farmers. They grew up to become cooks. For many years, they were considered the best cooks in the town of Fusan. Cora grew up to find the town boring, and wanted to become a traveler. Mandy wanted to continue working as a cook. They came to a compromise and created a caravan, where they explore the kingdom and cook for anyone they meet on the way. Their business are quite lucrative and allows Cora to live her dream of adventures. They can fend for themselves, as they have proven whenever attacked by bandits. They call their caravan "The Scent of Travelling", which is more and more popular with time. Nowadays, people are actually looking for the caravan to taste Mandy's cooking. Mandy and Cora had many offers to become "war cooks", but refused, not wanting to be part of any conflict. Mandy makes full use of her elemental magicks to help in her cooking.
Hometown: Fusan is a town of farmers. The houses are apart from each others, each one separated by fields of diverse vegetables. The town is inside the limits of the Valley, but quite far from any other town. They are self-sufficient, so Fusan doesn't get much visitors and the inhabitants rarely leave their own town. All races can be found here. Animals and ressources are plentiful. Mandy and Cora return here sometimes, but they live on the road now.
Weapon: While her claws are powerful on their own, Mandy possesses a warhammer made of scorpion pincers. Cora has no weapons, since she's armless. Her bite is poisonous though and she can change the effect of her poison thanks to her shape magick.

Appearance: 5 Foot teen in height, and pretty broad and stocky. He has thick arms and short, black hair. Decently small facial features. Wears whatever clothing he can find. Very Pale skin. Notable Details: A politician in his town. He is fed and clothed by his supporters, which consist of about 20 percent of the people, mostly laborors and the bottom of society alongside a few richer folk. Most of his day is him going farm to farm, house to house and convincing people to let him have control. He has been planning a forceful takeover for quite a while, but that's more of a pipe dream than anything with him only using it to give hope to his people that it is worth to support him. His policies can be describes as Communist like, with spreading the harvest around and seizing the goods of any merchants that drop by so luxuries can be enjoyed. Doesn't really use his magic, except for the occasions where he goes all robin hood and changes his appearance to steal stuff and use it himself.

Notable Details: Pearl is the youngest among her sisters and an avid explorer. She was raised with loving care from birth by all around her for a long time. On her 100th birthday, her mom vanished into the lake of her own Namesake, magically freezing. This event was a turning point in Jam's life as the first time she felt loss. She went through many phases before her next big turning point of falling in romantic love. She married a type-6 archeologist named Melos Galleon with whom she has a 7 year old daughter named Little Nivian. On his promise they're going to explore the lands her mother told her of in stories to try and bring her back from the impenetrable depths of the lake.
Hometown: Mystic Root Island & Nivian Lake. MR Island is located in uncharted territory as the sea around it is too rough for even most type 6's to sail it. This is largely due to a massive sea serpent that lives in the surrounding waters. Though it is not malicious, the sheer size of the beast makes it a problem. The Island itself is filled with myriad flora, fauna, psuedohumans and the occasional wash up or visitor that whethered the storm. Or type three that just teleported there. No standing government exist on this Island, but some semblance of hierarchy is present.
Nivian Lake is located in a valley just beyond thick forest or wide mountains depending on which direction it's approached from. The shimmering surface gives off supernatural lights as if it's reflecting an aurora that isn't there. Despite being such a large body of water, much of the wildlife prefers to avoid it.

Appearance: Crystal has long, black hair that reaches down a little past her shoulders in waves. Her eyes are a crimson shade of red. Her teeth are strangely sharper than usual, but it's difficult to notice without looking closely. Or being bitten by her. She normally wears a black suit and pants with a red shirt underneath. She also wears small, silver earrings with red gemstones in them. She also wears black boots and red gloves. When outside of Newtonia or working undercover, she can often be seen wearing a basic looking, brown cloak that covers pretty much everything. When put under intense stress, her eyes glow and black claw marks appear on her face.
Notable Details: Crystal is not a normal human. Being part demon, she has increased magical power. With this power, she has learned how to mix her elemental control of water and metal to control blood. The only limitation to this power is that she needs to see the blood before she can control it. This keeps her from being able to control her enemies directly with their blood, however, if she lands a slashing wound in them, the following magick can be brutally destructive. She is one of the cruelest and most gruesome of Libra's high ranking officers.
Hometown (Give description of home town): Bali - Crystal's rich family was murdered by bandits and thieves when she was just a child. This made it so she was forced to live on the streets. Luckily, she was taken in by a church that promised to take good care of her. Only, once she was there, she soon discovered they only wanted her so they could seal a demon within her. This demon was causing some trouble in the area and, well, the easiest way to seal it was within a human. Her magick was already strong, so they knew that she would be fine containing it. This, however, yielded some dangerous results. Results such as causing those that sealed the demon within her to turn inside out and melt away into a puddle. It turns out that a child, is in fact, incapable of fully controlling a demon. Who would have guessed? Although she learned to control it, she had become hated by all and was driven away from her home. And then the next home. And the next. She was not accepted anywhere. Then one day, Libra took her in, giving her a place where nobody would ever look down on her again.
Weapon (if any): Metal scythes connected to metal chains. Though this weapon would normally be completely impractical to use, when your powerful magick controls metal, it gets a little easier to swing these things around like metal slashy death things.

Has the numbers "0086" tattooed on the back of his neck. Cotton pants, iron shin guards and knee pads . Leather armor with metal reinforcements, tougher and put together in a far more professional manner than a time where he was seven years younger. Has a bandolier around his chest. Brown eyes. Wears a pair of metal braces around his wrists, with the sleeves to his armor pulled up to show. Notable Details: Once belonged to a village he has long since lost all memories of, which was razed to the ground and had much of its denizens, Irving included, captured as slaves. He was eventually rescued by a group of people led by an eccentric man named Elijah, who established a new secret village to house the slaves he liberated. When Irving got older, he went off to find a source of income to give back to the village, armed with a special weapon crafted by a blacksmith named Haled. To his dismay, however, he quickly learned that the only thing he was good at was bounty hunting.
Worse was when his type-2 magick began to manifest in the form of a shift into a crazed, murderous personality when experiencing enough pain, spending too much time around bloody battles, or very rarely being angry enough, where he stops feeling any pain, gets a heightened sense of smell, and he is capable of channeling his negative emotions and desire to inflict death to his foes into exerting out in a manner resembling super strength. This change in personality is signified by his brown eyes turning an unnerving gold color.
After identifying the problem, he met an old friend of Elijah, who offered metal shackles to place around his wrists to inhibit this dark power. Irving accepted them.
A series of events during the previous seven years led to him eventually heading a mercenary gang called The Family, which were the unofficial heads and owners of a small town called Alistel within [insert country here]. The town was mostly lawless (the Code of Conduct in the town plaza is more like a guideline for those who would rather not get shot and thrown in the nearby river by The Family), is full of some unsavory fellows, doesn't have the most luxurious commodities, and has a bit of a drug problem, but is regularly policed and protected by The Family, picking up the slack where the local government was either too corrupt or too negligent about their own lands to care. Recently, The Family has been focusing their attention on providing relief efforts to refugees from Destria, a town not far from Alistel that has become victim to an earthquake.

Weapon (if any): - A simple machete. Sharp and lightweight, albeit useless against heavy armor. - Irving's signature weapon crafted by his blacksmith friend, called the "reefleh" since he didn't know how to pronounce the word "rifle" at the time. It's like a medium-length...mini-cannon... thing that lets you put in something small called "Magick Cylinders" through what Haled called "magazines". If you pull a trigger on the weapon, one of the magazine's cylinders shoots out as a projectile. Since it's what Mr. Blacksmith called "bolt-action", Irving must then pull on the side of the rifle to eject the shell of the used cylinder (the magick apparently happens somewhere towards the middle of the barrel or something) and replace it with a new one from the magazine. Since this is a relatively newer model, the reefleh can also fold itself and fit into a holster around Irving's hip should he unlock a few bolts installed by the weapon's midsection. Irving himself has no idea how Haled came up with the idea.
Under normal circumstances, the thing has little use as anything better than a club; hitting something with a cylinder from afar was akin to punching them with mild force. However, there is a small slit on the top of the Reefleh's "barrel" that Irving can insert thin, rectangular "Slots" into. These Slots are made of some form of magick-conductive material and enchanted by Elijah. By shooting a cylinder with a Slot equipped into the gun, the slot enchants the cylinder loaded within the weapon to give them a property corresponding to one of the 7 circles of magick, albeit in a limited manner. However, prolonged use of certain slots causes them to overheat, with varying levels of cooldown to them (usually several hour's worth). The slots are as follows:
7th-Circle: Empowers the cylinders being fired to actually become a decent projectile (that appears white). The trigger can be held to become slightly larger and more powerful. Never overheats and as such is considered the "standard" setting. 6th-Circle: Causes the cylinder to break apart and burst into flames upon leaving the weapon's barrel. Range is equivalent to that of a modern-day shotgun. About 16 shots before overheating. 5th-Circle: The cylinder shoots out. Upon impact with a surface, it bursts and releases a magic mist. The wounds of anyone within the mist will close. Stings like hell, however. About 4 shots before overheating. 4th-Circle: Converts the cylinder into some kind of bomb, which breaks apart on impact and releases a gas projectile that clouds the minds of many people and often causes their magic to not work or malfunction. Two shots before it overheats. May or may not cause trippy hallucinations as a side-effect. Wears off on it's own, how long depending on the individual person affected. 3rd-Circle: After a charging period of five seconds, fires a slow, rotating, blue triangle projectile. If it makes contact with something, it envelops them in a magic prism that slows down their relative time (inflicts slow, so I hope I got that right). Instantly overheats and may have a cooldown period as long as a full day. Wears off after about seven (non-distorted) minutes. 2nd-Circle: After a charging period of two seconds, fires some dark energy taking the form of a skull that arcs and moves slowly. The first living organism that comes into contact with it instantly decays into ash. Instantly overheats, but can cooldown in as little as ten minutes; possibly because of Irving's Magick Type. His personal least favorite slot as despite it's effectiveness, it leaves little evidence of it's victims; obviously not good if you're a Bounty Hunter trying to prove you killed someone. 1st-Circle: Charging period of three seconds. Creates a rectangular wall of light that stops most direct magick attacks, but fades thirty seconds afterwards. The defensive properties of the wall are one-way, meaning magick fired from behind the shield may pass through it. Three charges before overheating.

Age: 2500 years is what he remembers but could be older or younger.
Magick Type: Type 4 even though his original powers have greatly been reduced due to the ritual.
Appearance: An all black Cat, with emerald colored eyes. Has lost memories of what he was like when he was a human due to being a cat for the past 1000 years.
Notable Details: Baron's adoptive dad, and a sergeant dad to Catie. Was once a young vampire who was very gifted with type 4 Magic. The illusions he could weave were second to none (basically he could easily do King Boo level of illusions). His gift drew the attention of Baron's dad Helel and he was personally invited to be Helel's retainer.
One day when Helel was hoping to reach out to Baron's mom, Mary. Helel asked Sam to deliver a letter for him to ask to accept her. He was given a magic seal and the letter and told to give it to Mary. On the way to delivering the letter Sam was caught in a bad blizzard and he lost the magic seal. Sam eventually found Mary but she was with child. Unable to deal with the guilt of losing the seal and facing his old master. Sam decided to stay and help raise Baron.
Until one day Baron discovered the letter and the truth about his dad. Having discovered the letter Sam decided to lead Catie and Baron towards the Midnight Cathedral.

Long distance she leaves behind one of her feathers that have been infused with her mana to form an anchor. Basically it creates a fast travel for any place shes ever been.) and Type 5 (Able to turn into Best Bird.)

Appearance: Wearing ancient armor from the old civilizations, Aeon stands tall, appearing as a true warrior of time. His armor covers his body fully in ancient, stone plates covered in glowing, blue markings. The language in it is long lost, but it can be assumed the words give the armor power. A magick incantation of sorts. When wearing the full armor with the helmet visor down, it has a dragon-like motif. Under the armor, a strong looking man with blue hair can be found. His face is normally quite expressive, often showing how he feels. His eyes are blue as well, looking as if the gears of time themselves turn within. Libra has provided Aeon with some normal clothes as well, once he realized he didn't have anything other than the armor. A blue dress shirt along with black pants and a vest. It's a bit simple, but still looks sharp.
Notable Details: Aeon was found by Libra within ancient ruins. He was placed within some sort of ancient time chamber, frozen in time until awoken by Libra. When he came to, he had no memory of who he was or why he was there. Luckily, Libra extended a hand to him, giving him a place to live and explaining that which he had forgotten. Staying with Libra, he now works with him, knowing that the reason he was placed there was to one day wake up and work with him to prevent the next calamity. Despite knowing he's doing what he was meant to, Aeon still gets the feeling he's forgetting something important from long ago...
Regarding his magick, it can be assumed Aeon spent years perfecting it in the ancient times as it's quite powerful. He must have been a high ranking warrior of some type. He's a dimensional magick user, but he seems to have completely forgone the use of portals and gravity magick in favor of his incredibly potent time magick. Aeon is capable of incredible feats such as freezing specific areas in time momentarily, giving specific individuals the ability to move through time quickly, skipping ahead through days or weeks, and even rewinding time back a few minutes while retaining his memory of the future. Aeon's most common uses, however, are to cause immediate reversal of specific actions within a few seconds of them happening or causing an action to repeat twice in the time it would take it to happen once.

Weapon: Aeon carries an ancient spear with him. While he is unable to use teleportation magick himself, his spear has the ability to teleport itself. He often uses this to throw it and recall it, however, there are a few more creative uses for this as well, such as placing the spear in a loop, continually flying at a specified enemy. Paired with his time magick, it can be quite a nuisance to deal with in battle.

His lower back, upper back, and upper triceps are covered in faded blue runes. His attire consists of a black long-sleeved shirt and pants.
Notable Details:
The heir to one of the Four Families, as well as sole child of Adria and Thanophistos. Ferris boasts an affinity towards that of Illusion Magick, an affinity that his father shares.
He's made a living as a mercenary, and has disowned himself from the Artorias.
Hometown:
Anthea, a city-state in Western Cleatia. It is an oligarchy ruled by several families that can claim their lineage back to ancient civilization of long past. The city-state is composed of several guilds, some being prolific enough that members of them can be considered minor aristocrats in wealthy only.
It is one of Cleatia's gems, known as the "City of Prosperity" within the empire. Anothea has taken advantage of being near the sea, where it has engaged in frequent trade with foreigners. It is composed two districts.
The upper district is Thessadeia, where some guilds and the wealthy make their abode. The Four Families have centralized their authority here, dominating any and all political opposition that is not of their blood.
In the lower district of Anophanes, those of common stock and lesser guilds make their abodes. From the trader to the businessman, you will find a thriving population that coexists with those of the upper class, and a city-state rife with political chaos as those less fortunate attempt to climb their way to the top.
Naval power is Anothea's strongest offense. Against the devastation of magic on a wide scale, several studies into anti-magic has been conducted in its history. The latest experiment in Anothea's history was the transfer of anti-magic capabilities from weaponry to the human body, effectively turning the individual into an anti-magic mage.
These mages would come to be known to Anthea as Neutralizers, their derogatory names being Mage Killer.

Ferris' preferred weapon is that lance known as Orestes. In the legends of the god Ithroe, Orestes was the Spear of Negation, serving as an aegis for the strongest blows.
His method of fighting is direct last, and indirect first, and so he has compiled an arsenal of weaponry that allows him to accomplish his task. Weapons ranging from long-ranged projectiles to daggers are just a few.
