A world that's not about to implode itself with bloody warfare for once, please

The way I see it, Orichalcus operate from the shadows. I don't see them full-on attacking towns. They attack specific persons instead. That's my personal vision.
Kalandria was an exception, because they wanted the Seal and the civilisation would have been able to deactivate it. With Kalandria out of the picture, Orichalcus are the only one who know how to deactivate the Seal.

They can send it to seal away the magic of whoever they want in the world. With the seal, they can render powerful person of interest completely powerless. No need for full scale attacks. It's more of a "hey, everyone's fate is in our hands, this makes us the most powerful faction in the world" than "HAHAHAHAHAHA! WE'RE EVIL AND WILL KILL EVERYONE!".
As of now... Well, the big bad has not been created, so Orichalcus has no precise objective. I'm gonna create the big bad if no one wants to, but as of now, I'm leaving it to someone else.

Got an idea. Orichalcus is not a town, it's a group of people aiming to control every person of power. Orichalcus is in every town, controlling everything. There can't really be a war here, because there's no specific town representing Orichalcus.
In other words, they are a secret society.

The illuminati?
I'll handle the big bad guy. Just give me a minute. And by a minute, I mean all day.

Alright, we'll be able to decide their goal when you're done!

Do we really need big bad guys?

*shrug*
Dunno. I've only done this once and my villain character died in two posts because I accidentally had another character set off a bomb.
It's not like a requirement to deal with the bad guy. It's just a plot device to get characters to interact. 'Cause it's usually more interesting when everyone isn't totally separate.

Something I forgot to say.
In case it wasn't clear, the Seal is a character on it's own. It will talk and has a personality. It's not an empty mute shell. When I said I wanted a villain that isn't evil, it's still true.
As for wether we need a big bad or not... We at least need a common objective for the Playable Characters. If we decide to have no big bad, I'll just have the Seal be woken up by some random dude and then roam the world doing whatever it feels is right.
I'm fine with no villain tbh, not hard for me to change the story of the Seal and Kalandria to fit a villainless world. As I said though, we need an objective for the characters.

I tend to make characters with personal motivation over "must beat big bad and save world".
Running into other people and having whatever happen is just a bonus.

Yeah, that's fine bunny. I think what I'm going to do is make some sort of main plot everyone can get behind if they feel like it, but don't have to. Optional big bad dood. But not so blatantly obvious that the world is going to end if they aren't dealt with. Just that they'll have an important impact. And I'll avoid war torn land stuff. I think I got an idea that'll work.

I got tired while I was writing it. Just ask questions and I'll give you answers. I already know pretty much all the details on this organization, it's just that I'm almost falling asleep while writing them.

Only contradiction in out two backstory is that you call the whole organisation "The Seal of Orichalcus" while that's what I called my character. Which one are we changing?

Why not have a character named the same as an object that is also the name of an organization?

They're the same name. Organization is named after The Seal of Orichalcus because that's the first ancient artifact he found from the age of antiquity.
Basically, these ruins are from Orichalcus' version of Atlantis. Only difference is Atlantis was everywhere and Kalandria was the capital.

Why not have an Atlantis? Orichalcum is the metal it's supposedly made of.
