The thing with Circles is that each person is born with a Circle and can only learn and cast magic from that circle. That's why Type 1's are so rare, since only a few people per generation are born with Circle 1.

X and I set it up so it would make sense for Catie to have access to some weak Dark Magick.

Okay, I'm trying to come up with original villains, villains which aren't actually straight up evil.
I have a few ideas I need to build upon, but I feel like my favorite would have to be approved.
It would be a character which cannot use magic, but is immune to it.

How/Why is he immune?

--Meanwhile, in Oz-- or Alternatively, you could simply say there are two Irvings from slightly different worlds like Crow did with Talia. But I want Oz, or at least my characters' experiences in Oz, to be ambiguously canon.

Oh what about Arstur rise of Orichalcus.
With Orchialcus being the name of a secret society thats out to take over the realm of Arstur.

...From Yu Gi Oh? *shrug* It's sorta up to you guys what the name is. If we find one we all like and agree on, I'll change it to that.

The only reason I don't want to put Austur in the title is because it can get harder to find and users might accidentally post in the old Austur stuff. Mainly me. I wouldn't mind if we had an archive, but I have a similar issue with Legend of Heroes and Neo's CYOA he made.

I have a few ideas, as I've said, I have to build upon my ideas. I want to know if you guys are okay with the general concept. As the how, here are my current possibilities: A) Character has a deformation at birth, which prevents magic from having any effect on him, this include using magic. B) Character cannot use magic, but has an artifact that absorbs it. C) Character is an animated armor. D) Character is a being of pure magic, summoned by a magician. Character is made of magic, but has no magic attacks. E) Character was a magician, got a curse. The curse makes it so magic cannot be used a certain distance around the character.

They all sound possible to me. A is the only one I'm a little eehhhhh about. B sounds like it could play into that fall of humanity thing.
Actually, the name "Seal of Orichalcos" sounds like it could play into that too. Like a special seal placed on whatever the beck caused that fall.

That actually sounds like a really cool idea. Someone has created the Seal of Orch. a powerful seal that can completely seal ones ability essiently making them powerless.
The only way the seal activates is if that player loses a PvP PvGM battle.

Of course who ever uses that and the originator could be the big bad once we finally settle on one. Yet this person would have to be extremely powerful to create, control, and pass the abilites on to another.
This could make for a very interesting encounters

Huh...You wanna work with that Mal? The Seal of Orichalcos. It seals away the magic of one affected. That's actually pretty cool. Especially if someone wanted to seal away magic forever because for one reason or another, they hate it. Or maybe they need it sealed so they can take over a magic heavy kingdom...? Hmm...

Also, reminder that you shouldn't be trying to "win" battles where your characters are fighting. You should either be creating the most realistic outcome with the winner or you should be working toward whatever will make the story more interesting.

So this is like Totems, right? No GM at all?

Awww crap, you're giving me initial Oz sign-ups flashbacks. The bad kind.

The sub-plot I had kinda partly written was a political intrigue thing with the king-person of Alibab. Something about murdering the prince because he... something...
I'd need to dig through some old notes.

So this is like Totems, right? No GM at all? Sort of. You can't just do whatever you want. You have to adhere to the rules of the world and the rules of the Verse. And of you're disruptive, I won't hesitate to call the admins on you.
