245 gold for the entire party, or for each character? Cause sharing gold in this ain't gonna work like it does in Schism.

The solution is to make sure players can't ever buy or sell anything and have them conveniently find whatever would be useful. Or have someone with ranks in Spellcraft learn how to craft magic items.

Okay.
... But we are doing individual gold right? Like, if Rin finds gold, she keeps gold, it doesn't automatically go into party loot to split? Because I guarantee you that will lead to arguments and problems down the road.

Now that I have a scale and can say what you each individually pick up, yes. Also, keep in mind that Rin has not one, but two magic rings worth a few grand each, so.

Was just making sure. .... I'm still in the Schism mind set of "you can't sell magic items, except in rare circumstances". Kinda didn't even think of selling the rings. Though I expect I would have to find someone to appraise them first, and then a merchant who actually has enough dosh to buy them.

Pathfinder runs on the assumption of a large magic item economy and the idea of "magic marts" in big cities.
It's just something baked into the system.

Yeah, selling expensive stuff like magic items will require finding the right person and place. But in the main city, there are some highly specialized markets, making the whole thing a hell of a lot easier and helping you guys make serious bank.

Alright, guys. To categorize the items that are usually not worth anything to the party, but can be sold or traded with, you'll have a list called "valuables" with a breakdown of what the items are. It's up to you guys to figure out what to do with them. I've decided not to list base values, unless you get an item appraised, at which time it will be on the list. I'm also not telling you which trade categories they fit in, because you need to think about what you have and where to get a fair value for it. If you get someone to look at it and they have a suggestion of where to sell it, I'll add it to the list, though NPCs aren't infallible. Also, items that don't appear in the valuables list can still be sold, if you want to. And some items may have people look at you really strangely for trying to find someone to sell them to, or could end up circulating in a way that brings up interesting consequences.
Also, because I've forgotten, did you guys actually take that globe thing, or not?

Those fabrics are mine because I found 'em. I also found the pottery, but gave it to Jeff. The rest is not mine because I didn't find them.
