Why is your INT higher? I thought Bloodragers used CHA for magic. If you're worried about skill points, remember that you get to choose a Favored Class, which whenever you gain a level in, you gain either a bonus hit point, a bonus skill point, or a special race-specific benefit (for instance, human sorcerers can get bonus spells known). Keep in mind that some races, such as Half-Elf and Tieflings with an alternate racial traits also count as other races, in these cases, Elf/Human and Human, respectively. I only need 11 Cha to unlock first level spells at level 4. Unless there's something I'm missing, I think its better to take 9+2 racial in Cha and build up as I need more for spells, and give myself the 13 in Int for the skill points. Plus lower Cha fits Cea more character-wise. She's not pretty or particularly personable. For the record, 16 Str, 13 Dex, 14 Con, 13 Int, 8 Wis, 9 Cha. Racial bonus +2 in Dex, Con, and Cha.

True, and with the rate your casting progresses, as long as you up Charisma with nearly every Ability Score Increase, you should be fine, since the ability score is mainly for DCs and the Bloodrager isn't too dependent on offensive magic over buff magic.

up Charisma with nearly every Ability Score Increase And that's called character development. And yeah I intend on almost all of my spells being buffs. Plus Black Tentacles once I get 4th level spells. Because tentacles.

To be fair, Black Tentacles is one of the best spells in the game for a fourth level spell.

Apparently Paizo just put out an "Aquatic Adventures" book, and is following up with a full "Blood of the Sea" guide to underwater races and classes and things like that in a few weeks.
No idea when any of those books will vet online...but if we delay this campaign enough I might feel compelled to make some character change.
Also, I just found out there's a word for what I wanted Cea to be. "Cecaelia" aka Octofolk. But I can't find anything about playing as one so...do I have options here?

Uh... Usually the PDFs are $10 on Paizo's site. So they're cheap. I'll see about when the books release.

There's also a third party book that's out that's really good called Cerulean Seas if you're interested in that.

Uh... Usually the PDFs are $10 on Paizo's site. So they're cheap. I'll see about when the books release. If they're easily transferable I wouldn't mind buying the one with new classes and sharing it. ...I could probably pirate it though... Heh, pirating the book with pirates in itAlso I checked out the cerulean seas pdf and that one pretty much only focuses on deep sea material. I'll need something amphibious for this campagin. Edit: I only found the "Azure Abyss" PDF...I'll keep looking for more in the Cerulean Searies.

Crow, are you going Fighter because you feel we need another frontliner, or because you want something simple? I'm still flip-flopping on classes, so I might go with a frontliner so you can change to something else that you want.

Is Neo still participating? If not, then we might need a healer (I can swap).

Okay. Keeping with the Wizard then.
Do you want me to send a backstory or just leave it alone for now?
Oh, and as for the adjustment for Universalists since they are woefully inferior to Specialists, are you okay with my suggestion? If not, it's fine. It would just save me two feats.

Send a backstory and character you're prepared to stick with. Otherwise, don't send me anything, and just work on finding the concept you really want to play.

Okay. And if I do go with the current plan, are you alright with giving me the bonus I suggested for going Universalist and losing spell slots?

So, if Paranoia is on Mondays, how does Friday sound for this?
I have a lot going on over the next little while. Mostly moving stuff. But I also have some time free because I'm obviously not spending five hours a night talking to Neo. So. I'm going to try to buckle down and get this started. But I do need a bit of help from you guys. I don't have time to play twenty questions, but I am willing to work on characters with everyone. I really, really need backstory stuff. As much as you guys have. Don't know where to start, or having trouble fleshing it out? Tell me, and be specific about what you do know or what you're interested in, and we'll make things happen. When I have all that stuff compiled, I can actually start planning things like encounters. Everyone should have a character sheet they can work on. Fill out what you can, and post here about what you need help with.

Fridays are fine.
I'll have my stuff up in a bit. Just need to decide race so I can start on a backstory. Don't worry about that 3rd party archetype. I found a combination of two subschools I like.

OK. I can add more to his backstory while still being the most generic. I think.
My character sheet should be done.

Guys, I found an archetype that turns you into a Magical Girl. It's a Vigilante Archetype called Magical Child that gives you spellcasting and a special familiar. It even has an ability called "Transformation Sequence."
