So, thanks to DB, this is a thing. I've decided to reboot the RP instead of continuing the original. There are some important changes from the original version.
Changes:
°The "Dissidia" element of the RP is being cut. No more Cosmos and Discord, no more Champion battles or champion cards or dimension hopping. I don't think it fit and it made the RP a little too convoluted.
°The plot is more streamlined, and more 5Ds based, instead of the weird 5Ds/Arc-5 hybrid it was before. I'm also going to be fleshing out the world and characters more, especially my characters.
°Synchro cards are no longer mythical legendary things. Synchro Summoning is now the newest part of dueling, and synchro cards are still new and being newly produced. They're rare for that reason, but aren't as limited as before. Fusion, Ritual, XYZ, and Pendulum summoning are all still around. Link summoning will not be in the RP.
°RP starter decks can have up to 7 Extra deck cards, instead of 6.
Those are all the definite changes. You're free to use new decks or create new characters, or tweak your old characters and decks as you choose. Some cards are still Restricted, though not as many as before.

Red Dragon Archfiend and all variants
Black Rose Dragon and Black Rose Moonlight Dragon
Black Winged Dragon and variant
Ancient Fairy Dragon and variant
Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon

Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon
Utopia
UtL
All Earthbound Immortals
All Egyptian Gods
All Norse Gods
All "Final Boss" monsters cause obviously
Edit: The "Entity" cards are also still restricted, for plot reasons.
Banned Cards:
Raigeki
Stardust Dragon, Red Dragon Archfiend, and their variants, and Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon are restricted to my two characters. They also take up two Signer slots. Dark Rebellion is no longer restricted.
5 characters can be Signers, maybe 6. Same with Dark Signers. Only one Dark Signer slot is taken. If you want your character to be a Signer or Dark Signer, just let me know and I'll clue you in on story stuff you need to know. The Signer Dragons and Earthbound Immortals are obviously restricted to Signers and Dark Signers.
GX, Lurk, and I came up with an interesting idea a few days ago, about duels. I want to hear what others think. What if, instead of having important duels live on Dueling Book and then writing them down afterwards, we do the RP live as well, via Discord? And maybe do some background maps on Roll20? So, it would be kinda like a mini session, but only for the duel.
