Appearance: A little over 6 feet tall, not very muscular, but lithe and fit. Short, wavy light blonde hair and dark reddish brown eyes. Very handsome and would be a total "pretty boy" if not for the small but noticeable scar across the bridge of his nose. Very pale complexion, since he spends most of his time indoors. Usually wears a long white coat with fancy golden embroidery over a white tunic or dress shirt and white breeches(for formal wear) or simple white traveling pants. Usually wears brown boots when traveling. Has a medium sized katana in a beautifully crafted ornate silver and gold sheathe that he almost never unsheathes.

Backstory: The only son of the Fire King, and heir to the throne. He is a quiet young man who detests fighting and combat and prefers to spend his time reading and learning and dreaming of the outside world. He's rarely allowed outside the palace and the few times he is it's usually with a full retinue of royal guards. He's quite popular with the ladies, though very shy and usually finds a way to politely turn them down. Or escape. He usually has his retainer, Cecilia, help him with that by using her as a distraction. She's long since learned to put up with it. Despite his hatred for war and combat, he does attend combat lessons(When he can't worm his way out of them) and thanks to his penchant for learning everything there is to learn, he is quite the young genius at military strategy. But his true talent and passion lies in magic, and he always jumps at any opportunity to learn more about it. He doesn't seem to be a very powerful mage to most, but his imagination and open mind allows him to be very versatile with fire and he often finds odd or unusual applications for its use. No one knows what the deal is with the sword he always carries but never uses, and the few who do know whatever secret the prince is hiding are extremely tight lipped about it.

Home Nation: Water Nation
Appearance: 6'1, athletic and muscular, but not overly so. Long snowy white hair that she wears unbound and stormy gray eyes. She has two small horns protruding from her forehead, though they're usually hidden by her hair, and scales on her shoulders, forearms, lower back, and lower legs. The scales are very hard, like dragon scales, but are the same color as the rest of her skin, so they're mostly unnoticeable unless you're really, really close to her- something she generally doesn't allow. She also has scaly dragon-like tail that gives her an extra sense of balance, which helps her maintain her footing on uneven ground. Her skin is snowy white, like the color of her hair. She usually wears a large white fur coat and white fur hat that cover up her horns and tail, and a white button down shirt and black capri pants underneath, along with white leggings beneath that. She usually tends to go barefoot or wear sandals, but when she's forced to she wears black military style boots.

Backstory: The chief retainer and personal bodyguard of Prince Zuko. When they were both children, he saved her life while visiting the Water Nation, and she's been by his side ever since. Her past is largely a mystery, and she intends to keep it that way. She doesn't talk about her past much at all, even to Zuko, though she talks to him about it far more than anyone else. She is fiercely loyal and devoted to the prince, and she has no qualms letting everyone else know that he's the only person she serves- something the Fire King regularly gets pissed about(Though he always ends up letting it slide). Most call her "Anwar's Shadow", since she's never seen leaving the prince's side and always seems to stay in his shadow. To everyone else besides the prince, she is cold and aloof and rarely talks, to the point most people assume she's mute at first. She is extremely strong and fast, even for a Verian, and can leap over such extreme distances that it seems like she's flying.

Water and ice are the same element, X. :P

Because I made the sign ups last night, went to bed, went to school, went to practice, came home, and my phone is about to die. I don't have my laptop at my father's house.

It was meant to start out sort of vague so that we could develop our own story together. I figured that each character has their own goals and stories, so those would help them move themselves through the story at first. Then as things moved on, there could be a variety of things that bring them together. For one thing, the war between the Light Nation and the Dark and Earth Nations could be rather large in the story. Everywhere would be affected by it and every nation would have its own opinions on it. Even nations like the Plant Nation that stay neutral and don't get involved could have story relating to how they don't get involved and are focused on themselves. There could even potentially be a part where one of the guardians are disturbed and go on a rampage Nation of Purity style. The Water and Fire Nations might notice that the war on the other continent is very similar to the one they were a part of 100 years ago and try to stop it out of fear of waking another guardian. I wanted to keep things somewhat open ended so that the story could feel free to choose a path that best adapts to both the characters and the players.

Just keep in mind that the Water Nation is run by a council of five chieftains, not a specific king or queen. So she'd probably be one of the chieftain's daughters.

Name: Bolt Crystech

Age: 18

Race: Human

Explorer Type: Crystal Tech

Crystal Tech: Crystal Tech Handgun: Standard - The basic handgun made by the Electric Nation and mass produced to sell around the world. Using small crystals, it shoots small and quick elemental bursts depending on the crystal. Very efficient and costs the least amount of crystals out of every Crystal Tech weapon.
Bolt Blaster 5000 - A special Crystal Tech weapon invented by Bolt himself. Using a mid sized crystal for each launch, the Bolt Blaster 5000 is capable of shooting out a large sphere of magical energy at incredible speeds. As soon as it comes into contact with something, an explosion of elemental magic is set off. If it does not come into contact with something within the first five seconds of launch, the magic will often explode on its own.

Home Nation: Electric Nation

Appearance: Bolt stands at about six feet and two inches tall. He has broad shoulders and is fit. He also has surprisingly soft hands and is very dexterous. His hair is mid length and black, sometimes getting into his eyes while he's working on something if he isn't wearing his goggles. The goggles he wears are specially made to protect his eyes while working on Crystal Technology. When he isn't wearing them on his face, he's wearing them on his head. This often leads to his hair sticking up in weird ways. It's debatable whether or not he ever actually takes those goggles off. For clothing, he typically wears a dark gray shirt with a lightning bolt pattern on it paired with a brown jacket containing various pockets. The pockets are often filled with seemingly useless junk or tools. He claims they're all useful objects though. His pants are simple and black and he often wears lightning bolt patterned boots. A belt with various tools attached to it is often around his waist as well.

Backstory: Bolt is the child of the creators of Crystal Technology, Ted and Terry Crystech. It's rumored that they were so proud of their achievement in making Crystal Tech that they changed their last names to Crystech. Bolt never really bothered to ask about it though. There are far more important things to do! From the day he was born, he was destined to become a great engineer, inventor, and mechanic. While his parents often didn't spend much time with him and were too busy with work, Bolt often spent time alone, in the garage. He'd spend all his time inventing new machines using Crystal Tech. At first, most of his inventions ended in magical explosions and a few dead workers. But eventually, he got the hang of it. Soon, he could repair Crystal Tech and invent Crystal Tech all on his own. His more recent inventions have been mostly cooking appliances and weapons for waging war. He claims that the two are fairly similar in design. His own personal weapon, the Bolt Blaster 5000, is not available for sale on markets simply because his parents say it's unstable and unpredictable. It hasn't had enough testing. Despite his pushing, they haven't been convinced that it's a good idea to sell to other nations for whatever reason.

Home Nation: Plant Nation

Appearance: Silven is five feet, four inches tall. She's thin and pale from spending all of her time indoors. She has long, golden hair that's worn in a ponytail in the back and crown-like braid around her head. Her eyes are golden colored as well. She has the pointed ears of a Magelf, but her glowing markings are not found all over her body. She simply has two marks on the sides of her face, looking like a flowing stroke of a paint brush. Her wings are slightly transparent and green with a golden, wind-like design pattern. Silven wears a shirt with a similar design, which might be mistaken for high class and formal wear if she didn't wear an open robe over it. No, not a magic robe. The kind that you sleep in. Her sleeping robe is always on and is green colored with little sheep on it. She wears green, fuzzy sleeping pants as well with this, further making her elegant look completely ruined. But on the bright side, her robe and sleeping pants match. She pretty much never wears shoes since she just typically flies from place to place. And by fly, I mean lazily drift with her wings. Aside from those, the only other thing she wears is a little, golden necklace. It has a little flower locket on it, containing...well, nothing. But she plans on putting something important in there one day.

Backstory: Silven has spent pretty much her entire life in the Plant Nation's fairy forests. She lives in a simple fairy village. One of those typically peaceful places where the fairies frolic and play. Except Silven. She prefers to sit inside and read. See, ever since Silven was little, she's enjoyed books. People? Not so much. She just isn't interested in them. After all, why go outside and talk to all those boring fairies when you can stay inside and read a book, snuggled up with your kitty under a blanket? Some crazy people seem to have their priorities mixed up. Silven's father is a traveling book salesman and her mother used to be the librarian of the fairy village. However, Silven's mother died from an illness and she took over the library. Silven's father still travels around and sells books, but he always comes back home and saves the best for his daughter. With constant supply of books and her own magic to grow food with, Silven...really doesn't leave the house much.

Appearance: A small, black kitten with white tipped paws, ears, tail, and nose. Mittens is a long haired and poofy kitty cat. He's useless in battle, but enjoys cuddles and naps. He's often seen hanging off of Silven's shoulder, laying lazily on her shoulder, sleeping on her shoulder, or sitting on her head. But never sitting on her shoulder. That would be too convenient.
