Why do I keep forgetting Celica is psychic...? Clairvoyance could be really useful here. And I haven't been applying her 6th Sense bonuses. At all.

Hey, Justice. We don't have armor, right? At least in disguise. So I should review SDC and bleeding rules?
Should we add those skills now, or at the end of the "semester?"
Neo or Justice! I don't think there's anything in the rules about protecting others. Is it possible to parry/take a blow meant for someone next to you?

Yes, it is possible to take a blow meant for an ally next to you. The exact roll is up to th GM's discretion, but most GMs that I've seen use Roll With Impact rolls. Some just use normal parry rolls, but make it so it requires an Action, because you're going out of your way to parry for someone else. It's up to Mystic to decide how he wants to do it.
Reminder that Shira doesn't need armor. If we end up in a fight without having time to change, don't hesitate to throw her out in the thick of it and have her tank.

Session summary!
School!
No one's knowledge increased.
Everyone was there.
Everyone.
Everyone takes courses at this school.
SENTINELS. OMEN. LIBRARIANS. No HUNTERS, now that I think about it - so far as we know. I guess they don't like learning.
Amelia learned a new design.
Yelly-elf.
Shira and Dirus are dating now.
Also Dirus seems like a totally different person.
Slimex met Celica's mom. She seemed nice.
(People did remember that Celica clairvoyantly saw her mom was in the area like 12 session ago, right? ...Oh, why would anyone else remember that...?)
Shira and Dirus went off to attempt an S-rank. It failed.
Celica threatened her mom a lot. It was so boring it put Mal to sleep.
Rosalin kinda hinted OMEN is responsible for the disappearances and said she can't be stopped or something.
We may or may not be actively fighting now?

I know, Mal, I was just joking.
Though I realize solo stuff like that can be dull for the others, even if it's important to the character/player (another reason I asked about the Schism stuff ahead of time). Which is also why I was fine with it getting skipped over earlier, so it could be done at the end.

I remember Celly's clairvoyance scene. I just was really, really not in a good way last night. I'm better this morning.
I assumed Mystic would do skill increases the same time he does EXP.
Mystic! Remember the Legendary bonus effect! Amy rolled two critical 1s, which means double the Legendary. Which means she's pretty much an instant legend at the school. For the genius new pharmaceutical ideas Amy wrote down, you could have the teacher accidentally see it and recognize the true genius of it, and tell her colleagues and maybe get Amy in touch with a big shot company who would be interested in buying. Amy could become a business tycoon!
For the performance critical success, that's easy. Amy goes into the class full of people and immediately puts on a performance so incredible it makes her instantly the most popular theater person at the school.

Oh right, just some small thoughts.
1.I thought Rosalin's was especially related to Slimex or an event he specifically was a part of, hence why it took some time to even think of her being Celica's mom.
2.After knowing that every player has an OMEN rival, I assumed that they had a demon in their rank. After seeing that Dirus seems to have Shifter powers, I'm wondering if he's actually supposed to be Slimex's rival... With that said, if the possession theory is true, he might be possessed by a demon which is the true OMEN member.
3.Slimex levels up as soon as we get the EXP! Hooray!
4.Metal Gear Weasel is still spying on Dirus and Slimex is tired of seeing all the flirting. Hum... Is it time for an anger fit again?

You should probably have Weasel stop spying unless you want to see much, much more.  Shira is convinced someone or something is controlling Dirus. She's going to do her best to get close to him so she can find out what that is and how to free him. Basically, I'm going to be rolling a serious seduction check next session, and I'm going to be doing everything I can beforehand to get situational bonuses. Pyrion- the Fire Dragon we met in the Central Alliance back on Dracomundi- is Shira's real OMEN Nemesis. But Dirus is actually just as important to her story at this point, so if he was meant to be Slimy's Nemesis, she kinda hijacked him. Sorry. |
