Reminder that Faron has Sacrifice if he needs to use it to heal someone.

Faron's the one I'm most worried about healing, though... He's about the only one that can handle these knights.

I just thought I'd mention it since I forgot myself.
Remember that the win condition is not to route the enemy, but just to survive until Turn 6. Killing the commander also has a chance to end the battle early, but is not a guaranteed win.

Just a heads up that character support ranks and certain decisions made during levels and after are going to making important changes to a few chapters in the future. So make sure you get the right ranks you want in time.

The plots are starting to come together. Hype.
In other news, you might want to focus on leveling Ryner, Kress, and Elay a bit. They're all going to have a promotion that is linked to the story, so you won't have time to get them to 20 if you wait too long. But that's only if you want to get them to 20. Some people don't like doing that for...some reason.

The last post sort of sealed that deal, with the plot coming together. This reminds me of Sacred Stones with a side dish of Fates, but with a twist. Still lost at the moment with characters, but that will probably fall into place soon.

Prologue - Dragons Awaken (Ryner)
In the peaceful mountain nation of Drakus, Ryner awakens from his nap in the fields. His sister, Lute, tells him that the Elder Dragon wanted to speak with him. But as Ryner stands up and brushes himself off, the two hear a man calling for help in the distance. Following the cry for help, they come across a mercenary being chased by a group of powerful monsters. After rescuing Terrance from the monster hoard, Ryner and Lute head off to see the elder and listen to what he has to say. While there, the elder tells them about the Legend of Heroes. Long ago, a powerful demon wandered the lands, destroying whatever it wanted. So the heroes placed a seal on it. The weapons had been scattered throughout the lands over time and the elder was linked to the seal. As he grows older, the elder grows weaker. He will soon die along with the seal placed on the demon. Turning to Ryner, the holder of the Truestone, the elder asks him to gather the weapons and combat the demon that lurks behind the weakening seal.
Chapter 1 - The Dark Princess (Elay)
In the island nation of Umbra, Princess Elay undergoes her final trial to prove that she is ready to help her father in battle. Taking on the Royal Necromancer's son, Darik, she fights alongside her butler, Gerand, and a thief from the desert nation of Daravia, Shizuka. After battling through a bunch of zombies to take down Darik, the party gathered their belongings and prepared to set out together. Shizuka's friends, Lupis and Carthis join them as they head out to adventure through the swamp to the east.
Chapter 2 - The Beast's Roar (Kress)
The Laguz nation of Sidhe is comprised of multiple Laguz tribes living together to get by. At the heart of it is the nation's capital, Leocor. There, the king and queen live with their daughter, Kress. The Wolf Laguz are a rare and royal tribe that lead the other tribes. Weeks before Ryner and Elay's adventures begin, a large festival is held in the capital of Leocor. The Laguz celebrate the peace that has finally been made between Sidhe and Opulentus, the richest nation on the continent. With the Opulentian knights heading over to the capital to sign the peace treaty along with a few representatives from the council, the Laguz look forward to a bright future. Running through the city's streets and enjoying the festivities with her friend, Kit, Kress begins to feel suspicious about the knights. A battle breaks out in the castle and both Kress and Kit join in to help the king and queen of Sidhe. Head of the royal guard, Garu, commands his squad of bird Laguz to protect the town and luckily, the battle is won. Sadly, the capital has fallen in shambles. The king and queen devise a plan to drive the Opulentians out of their land and prepare for war with Kress at their side.
Chapter 3 - Mercenaries in the Snow (Ryner)
Heading down the mountain, Ryner leads his party away from Drakus and toward the nation of Glaewood. Glaewood refused to take a side in the war between Opulentus and Sidhe and stays neutral for now. The people here respect power and only the strongest can lead them. Ryner and his group head on their way and notice a small village nearby under attack from a bunch of Golems. Working together with Terrance's mercenary allies, they take down the Golems and even gain a few more allies that go along with them. After stopping at the village for the night, the party heads off on their way toward the capital.
Chapter 4 - Witch's Bog (Elay)
Moving through the eastern swamp, Elay leads her allies onward toward the port town, Lunar Cove. However, as they head through, a group of undead that have risen from the swamp water attacks. As they fight their way through, they find that the undead army was accidentally summoned by a witch's apprentice undergoing her training. After helping Claire clean up her mess, the group manages to find their way through the swamp and to Lunar Cove. They spend the night there, waiting for their ship that will come in the morning, though Elay has trouble sleeping. Her father is sending her off to fight in the war on Sidhe's side. Can she really trust herself with that responsibility?
Chapter 5 - The Taguel Turn (Kress)
Kress moves onward with her allies to the Taguel Village. Hearing that there were enemy soldiers nearby, they prepare for battle, ready to drive them out. However, the Opulentian knights are not alone. They have paid multiple groups of mercenaries and the Taguel themselves to work for them. Together with her allies, Kress invaded the village and took out the enemies, one by one. A small group of powerful mercenaries turned against the enemy Opulentians when their leader, Kaiz, saw Luna. Not only did they have help from the mercenaries, but a Taguel from the village managed to escape execution and joined the party in protecting his friends and family. After taking down the Opulentians and driving them away, Kress and her allies decided to stay the night in the village.
Paralogue 1 - Our Strongest Warrior (Kress)
Seeing Kress becoming a larger threat than expected, head of the Opulentian council, Madame Adiamant, sends her strongest warrior to take care of her. That night, Kress awoke to an army of enemies marching in from a nearby village. A small, Kitsune village was absolutely destroyed and the only survivors, Jess and Uragiru join Kress in fighting off the waves of enemies that follow. After fighting wave after wave of knights and cavaliers, the enemy general showed his face. A towering giant of a man by the name of Smash. Just as it looked like the battle would be lost, Argentum, a fellow Sidhe royal and childhood friend of Kress, leaped into battle to save her. He fought off the enemy with his Kitsune allies and peace returned to the Taguel village once again. Joining sides, seeing as they were headed in the same direction, Kress and Argentum began heading toward the front lines of the battle together. There, they would meet their ally forces in the great war against Opulentus.
Chapter 6 - Duel of Champions (Ryner)
Finding themselves in the capital of Glaewood, Ryner and his allies seek out the help of the leader, Athena. Despite being the leader of the nation, she was surprisingly laid back. Upon realizing Ryner was a dragon, she agreed to help him in his journey to protect the world from the demon's seal being released under one condition. He had to defeat her strongest fighters in a duel. Accepting the duel, Ryner and his allies managed to defeat their opponents without a single ally going down in the battle. Athena was impressed with the group's performance and agreed to join their side. Afterwards, Ryner and Athena met with each other to discuss how they would put an end to the war and gather the legendary weapons to keep the demon sealed. Athena suggested simply joining a side in the war to help take down the enemies and just taking the weapons while Lute thought of the idea of joining Daravia so they wouldn't have to pick a side. Still unconvinced which way to go about it, Ryner decided to take some time to think on it. He sent letters to the leaders of the main parties involved, asking for an audience with a representative from each. If he had information about each land, maybe it would help him decide...
That should be everything! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
