Knocking can be heard. Darik stands at Elay's door. "Elay? It's me, Darik." There's no response. "Well, I know you probably don't want to talk, but I want to talk to you. I know things are hard right now. But...I want you to know you're not alone, alright?" There's a pause. "I know it's unusual for me not making jokes and all that, but...this isn't time for those." He takes a breath. "My mom died from this war. I know how it feels to lose a parent to something. It was terrible. I remember when my father told me. I didn't know what to think. At first I thought it was a terrible joke. But...he was serious." He stops and listens. It's almost like nobody is there. "Anyway...I guess now isn't really the time for that, is it?" He's quiet again. "I'm here for you, Elay. Just know that, okay? If you ever need anything...I'm your royal mage. It's my duty to help and protect you. So I'll do that. Just let me know if you ever need something." Silence fills the area. "Okay...?" No response. "...Okay." He walks away from the door.

A few moments later, Kress appears at the same door. "Elay? Are you in there?" She knocks a bit. "I can smell your scent." She knocks some more. "...Well, I guess I'll just have to speak to you from out here then." She looks at the Nightstone in her hand. "You know, I think I decided that...Beorc aren't so bad. And that, well...maybe it's okay if we're friends. I like to think that maybe we have become friends. In a way." There's no response. "Well, I think so. At least, I consider you someone I care about." She turns the nightstone, seeing the light reflect off of it. It seems as if stars are within. "...You heard me, right? I care about you. So...So just know that okay?" There's no response. "You don't want to talk to me, I guess. That's fine. I wouldn't either. I never treated you very nicely. I guess I'm not much better than the Beorc that treated me poorly. So I'm sorry..." There's no response. "...I'm sorry. Elay? Will you please speak to me? Something? Anything? I'm worried about you. You're someone that's really important to me..." Once again, there's no response. "...Okay. Then I'll just...I'll just wait out here then. I'll sit by the door until you're ready. Is that okay?" No response. Kress sits, back against the door. She waits patiently. "I promised. So I'll keep that promise. I'll wait here."

Darik walks through the halls, noticeably sadder than usual. Shizuka walks up to him and stops him, giving him a questioning look. “I’ve never seen you so serious before. What’s wrong?”
“I’m worried about Elay. She won’t speak to anyone. Or leave her room. Or even eat. She won’t even let Gerand in.”
“...Huh. And here I thought you were going to be laughing about it.”
“I might enjoy screwing with people, but I’m not heartless. You realize everything I’ve ever done is only to help, right?”
“...Hmm…” Shizuka thinks back. “I guess you’re right. I never really thought about it because I just always figured you were trying to find new ways to annoy everyone.”
“Well, it doesn’t really matter now. Kress is sitting in front of Elay’s door and won’t move. Both of our leaders have basically given up. We won’t be moving forward like this.”
“In that case...Maybe we should do something about that.”
“Huh…?”
“We should do something about it. Both of us are here to help Elay, aren’t we? Well, let’s get off our asses and get to work.”
“What are we going to do?”
“We’re gonna put something together that’s going to inspire her. Something that will make her move forward again. Something...Something like that.” She paces a bit. “Hm, I have an idea. Where’s Garu? And Mistral? We’ll need Lupis too.”
“Plotting something? Maybe we are more alike than you think.”

What." He takes out a box from his pocket. "I want you to find the ring." "Oh, it must be in that box then. This is an easy game!" Kit opens it up, finding the ring inside. "Hey, this is a pretty fancy ring..." "For a good reason! Kit, that's a wedding ring. I want to know if you'll marry me." "Marry you!? Of course I will! We can play all the time together then! Raising her hand one more time, she knocks quietly. "Elay...?" Finally, a response. "...Kress, are you still there?" "Yes." There's a moment of silence. Finally, the door swings open, causing Kress to fall backwards into Elay. "Here, let me help you up." Elay reaches down and holds both of Kress' hands, helping her stand back up. "You've been waiting outside the door all day for me?" "Yes, I-" Before she can finish, Elay wraps her arms around her and gives her a hug. "I was worried about you, so I waited out there as long as I had to. Because I wanted to see you again. Because uh...Well, I decided that Beorc aren't actually that bad. And you in particular are pretty nice. And...even though I treated you poorly, you still wanted to be my friend. So...I wanted to repay that kindness. But...I think maybe I found something in you that I like more than just that." "What are you trying to say?" "I mean that...well, through the time we spent together, I feel like I've gotten to know you better. I feel like we have a special bond together and it's unlike any other I've had before. I...I want to marry you, Elay. So what do you say?" Elay smiles. "That sounds like a wonderful idea." She then sits on the bed. "Despite not doing anything, I feel pretty exhausted..." She wears blue shorts along with these. Leather boots and gloves are worn on her hands and feet. Her short hair is a bit longer, having grown over time. A scarf is draped over her shoulders with the Sidhe symbol repeating on it in a design. "I wonder how I can play with the enemies now...?" Kit changed to the Nemean Lion class!
Kit's Strength increases by 4! Kit's Health and Defense increase by 3! Kit's Skill and Speed increase by 2!www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xp3sRVYgl6MGaru changes into light, black armor, covering his chest and lower body. His arms are left a bit more free, being protected by the sleeves of the under armor padding and wearing metal gauntlets on his hands. An opening is left on the back, allowing his wings to come out. Garu also wears a black headpiece for some extra protection. "This is my true potential as captain of the royal guard." Garu changes to the Hraesvelgr class!

Elay steps outside, wearing new armor. She now wears silver armor on her shoulders and on her chest. She also wears metal gauntlets and boots. Her silver circlet still sits atop her head, however. Her black dress from before is still there as well. Elay changes to the Great Lord class!

Elay learned how to use Lances! Elay learned how to use Axes!She notices that standing in front of her are both Darik and Shizuka. They seem to be carrying...multiple letters. Darik grins and hands one to Elay. "Here you go. This one's from me." "Huh...?" Elay seems surprised. Shizuka hands her the rest of them. "These are all letters written to you by the people you've helped along your journey. We thought that you seemed sad, so maybe reminding you of all the people you've helped so far would help you find a way to move forward." Elay smiles. "You two are the best. Thanks. But you won't have to worry about that. I've found my own strength to move forward." She looks off in the horizon. "Adiamant is waiting. You two should head over to the strategy meeting. I'll be there in just a minute." They nod and head off. Kress comes up from behind Elay. "So this is it, huh? Are you ready?" "With you at my side, I think I can take on anything." "There's no doubt that Adiamant will have powerful forces outside of the castle. Avalon and I will head the main force to take them on and distract them. While we keep them busy, a smaller force will enter the castle. Shizuka has already secured a route inside. This smaller force will be taking down Adiamant. Without their leader, the enemies will begin to crumble. But this won't be any easy task. Adiamant is protected by a shadow barrier of her own creation. Not only this, but while you're trying to break the barrier, I have no doubt she'll use whatever magic she has to hinder your progress. This is why the smaller force must split into three groups. One heading into Adiamant's room, keeping her busy while the others take out the two generators to her shield. We know she's capable of powerful, dark magic, so be on guard. And expect enemies from Lux and Opulentus to appear as well." Elay nods. "Alright then. it seems our first order of business is deciding who's going to be heading where then..." Axel is the last of Arc's family members that you're going to slaughter. Death Shade is a big, disgusting globny mess of dark magic that Adiamant conjured. Axel is a Great Lord and Death Shade is Faceless class.
Generators do not have weapons. They are objects.

OH, and his weapon is long range too. I made it up though. It's a Royal Edge. Basically, Wind Edge, but shiny and uses Strength instead of Magic.

MainElay runs forward, Excalibur ready. "Excalibur! Lead me to victory!" She tosses the blade into the air before leaping up and grabbing it. She spins down into the enemy warrior, slashing vertically before landing on her feet and landing a horizontal slice. Critical Hit! Warrior receives 42 damage 0/35 HPLupis flies forward, riding on Kain. He swings his axe into the enemy warrior before he retaliates, striking back with his own axe. Warrior receives 10 damage 25/35 HP
Lupis receives 9 damage 21/30 HPGerand follows up the attack, running in on his own. "I'll clean up this mess!" He swings his arms out, causing knives to come out of both sleeves. He then tosses one in the air, causing it to spin before he jumps up, grabs the knife, and drops down on the enemy warrior, hitting them from above before quickly turning and stabbing them with the other knife from behind. The warrior tries to strike back, but as he swings his axe, Gerand performs a backflip, tossing another knife in the air. Critical Hit! Warrior receives 15 damage 10/35 HP

Warrior receives 5 damage 5/35 HPJess then runs in from behind Gerand. "I'll handle this like a real warrior!" She jumps in the air, shifting into fox form before flipping down and landing on the enemy warrior with a strike of her claws. "Told you I could do it!" Critical Hit! Warrior receives 18 damage 0/35 HPArc then rides in, blessed lance at the ready. She lands a solid hit on the warrior before commanding her horse to backstep, dodging an incoming axe blow. She then follows up with another hit, swinging her lance into them once more. Warrior receives 12 damage 13/35 HP

Warrior receives 12 damage 1/35 HPClaire steps in from behind, taking out her Luna tome. "I'll help." She thrusts one hand forward, causing a rain of dark meteors on the opponent and killing them. "They died." Critical Hit! Warrior receives 69 damage 0/35 HP
Claire reaches level 5! Claire's Resistance increases by 2! Claire's Health, Strength, Magic, Skill, Speed, Luck, and Defense increase by 1!Leo charges in, eyes locked on the last warrior. "Hear the lion's roar!" He leaps past them, slashing with one claw and using the same claw to swing around and slash at the other side with his other claw before leaping on them and finishing them with his sharp teeth. "A victory for the Laguz!" Critical Hit! Warrior receives 87 damage 0/35 HPWith the warriors out of the way, Vex quickly runs in, taking out her blizzard tome. "We need to clear away those tricksters!" She creates a blast of cold wind that slams the first trickster into a wall before launching multiple ice spikes into them. Carthis dances in and grabs Vex's hands before the two spin around and she unleashes a spear of ice that pierces the last trickster. Trickster receives 29 damage 0/20 HP

One unleashes a beam from their hand that erupts into an explosion of flames upon contact with Arc while the other fires an explosive beam at Kress. Arc receives 24 damage 8/32 HP
Kress receives 22 damage 11/33 HPMistral looks over at Adiamant and then to Elay. "I'll keep her distracted. Finish off her lackeys while she's not looking." She flies in, changing to hawk form. "Hey, you old hag! I heard you don't like Laguz! Well come get me if you can!" www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hp7-FBMbyFUAdiamant's evil smirk falls into an evil glare as she takes out the legendary tome, Grim. "Very well then." A strange magic nullifies Mistral's skills. Dark magic swirls around Adiamant before she releases two spinning blades of darkness into Mistral. She lets out a shriek before swooping down and attempting a strike at Adiamant. The dark barrier blocks the strike entirely, knocking Mistral backward as she falls out of hawk form. "It was worth the try I guess..." "Hahaha! There's no use fighting me! Surrender now, Laguz filth!" Mistral receives 19 damage 12/31 HP

Arc's lance surrounds her in a blessed light, healing her. Generator 1Darik steps forward, tossing a ball of dark explosive, dark energy at the enemy warrior standing in the way. The blast knock him back and Darik motions for Faron and Luna to follow his lead. Warrior receives 26 damage 9/35 HPFaron follows up, sending a ray of light into the same warrior and taking him down. "Strange to see the light and dark magic combine..." Warrior receives 19 damage 0/35 HPLuna rides beside them. "I'll do what I can." She summons two rays of light that cross on the target warrior before exploding into a burst of light. "Oh, I did it!" Warrior receives 22 damage 13/35 HP
Warrior receives 22 damage 0/35 HPShizuka runs in, past the mages and directly up to an enemy sorcerer. She stabs at him, but he moves so that the knife only just scratches him. He tries to blast Shizuka with a Nosferatu, but she jumps out of the way and tosses another knife. Sorcerer receives 1 damage 29/30 HP

Sorcerer receives 1 damage 28/30 HPGaru then flies in and strikes at the sorcerer while they're distracted. They fire a blast back at him, but Garu gracefully flies out of the way before looping around and swooping back down for another strike. Sorcerer receives 9 damage 19/30 HP

Sorcerer receives 9 damage 10/30 HPWhile Garu and Shizuka are busy, Argentum charges in, jumping at the other sorcerer and clawing away at him. They manage to shake him off before throwing a dark magic sphere at him. Argentum, however, simply bounces the sphere off his tail and into a wall. "Please." He jumps back at the sorcerer and finishes him with a bite to the neck. "I hope I didn't mess my fur up too much." Sorcerer receives 26 damage 4/30 HP

Sorcerer receives 26 damage 0/30 HPThe surviving Sorcerer retreats backward and tries to hit Garu with another blast, but Garu easily evades. Miss! Garu receives no damage 25/25 HPThe assassins move forward, taking out their knives. One of them tosses a knife at Argentum, landing a hit while the other throws a knife at Shizuka, missing poorly. Argentum winces as the blade's poison takes into effect. "They poisoned them?" He takes the knife out with his mouth before spitting it out. "Blech." Argentum receives 6 damage 16/22 HP

The shadow then falls back down and crashes into them once more, landing the final blow. "An effective strategy." Warrior receives 24 damage 11/35 HP

She jumps up and thrusts her lance forward, landing a well placed blow on the warrior and taking him out. "Take notes, boys, 'cause that's how you do it." Warrior receives 19 damage 0/35 HPKit charges forward, focusing in on the sorcerer before her. She slashes them with her claw, making a large gash. They retaliate with a blast of magic, hitting Kit directly. She takes heavy damage, but retaliates with another strike. Sorcerer receives 16 damage 14/30 HP

Kit is about to give Bunbun a hug before realizing they're in the middle of combat. The surviving enemy sorcerer raises a hand, summoning forth a powerful blast of dark magic. Yes, you can access the convoy. Which I realize I forgot to take one Concoction and one Vulnerary away from.
None of your characters have Movement +1, so you won't be able to switch teams without spending a turn out of combat.

MainClaire spins her staff around and points it to Arc, healing her wounds in a light. Carthis then dances around her while singing. "Don't stop there~" "Okay." Claire turns around and heals Kress too. Arc recovers 22 health 32/32 HP

She pushes the axe upward with her sword, throwing it into the air before kicking the warrior back. "I'll lead us to victory!" She swings Excalibur up while jumping into the air before bringing it down into the warrior. "How's that?" Warrior receives 16 damage 19/35 HP

She jumps at them, but just as she's about to make contact, they teleport out of the way and retaliate with a fire beam. Jess survives the powerful explosion and then jumps out of the flames, landing a scratch on the warlock. Miss! Warlock receives no damage 25/25 HP

Holy light surrounds her lance as she slams it into the warlock, causing a blast of light to explode around them. "I'm at your side. Fight on!" Critical Hit! Warlock receives 60 damage 0/25 HPLeo then heads in after another Warlock. He attempts to slash with his claws, but they suddenly disappear and reappear behind him. Darik tosses a ball of shadows into the air before it breaks apart into ten, spinning around in a circle that surrounds Axel. "I've been saving something special for you!" The circle comes crashing together in a powerful explosion of dark magic. Axel stumbles backward before swinging his blade, causing a golden light to fly out. Darik steps out of the way of the first slash and then ducks under the second, just barely dodging. Critical Hit! Axel receives 33 damage 17/50 HP

Luna's Strength, Magic, Speed, Luck, Defense, and Resistance increase by 1!Axel sets his crazed eyes on Darik, tossing his blade up in the air before jumping up and unleashing multiple, seemingly endless waves of light slashes. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Darik is blasted back by the powerful strikes, but manages to catch himself. "The real joke here is you!" Darik throws one hand up in the air before collapsing on the ground. A magic circle appears beneath Axel before multiple dark spheres come up out of it and spin around before slamming into him in a powerful explosion. They then drain Axel's health and bring it to Darik. Critical Hit! Darik receives 31 damage 1/32 HP

The assassin turns and throws a knife at Kaiz, hitting him. Kaiz ignores the pain and fires another arrow into the assassin, taking him down. Assassin receives 16 damage 4/20 HP
