Everyone gives chase to the Goblins, running after them. They're eventually cornered to a dead end and surrounded by mushrooms. As the Goblins look around for a way out, something is heard screeching from above. A strange looking, flying monster with a giant eye flies above. It must have been attracted to the food. Looks like you'll have to take it and the Goblins down.
What will you do?

Fletcher, John, and Scruff hang out and spam debuff skills like growl and leer on the fly-eye. Man, sand attack's probably going to suck for him. Flurrie supports Danny, Sei, and Hope attacking the goblins with Dodgey Fog.
Meanwhile Ra Lena tutors Bowgeko on archery with a practicum on floating eyeballs.

I am good with all this just add Dogey Fog and if things get hairy use the Fire Flower on the goblins only if we have too though

Fletcher wastes no time in blinding the Fly Eye with sand while John and Scruff keep it busy with growls and leers. Flurrie unleashes Dodgey Fog to keep the enemies blind while Hope and Danny keep the Goblins busy, knocking most of them out of the way. Seiberg provides magic support with different fire, thunder, and blizzard spells. La Rena attempts to show Nogeko how to shoot his bow, firing an arrow into the Fly Eye. He takes not of her boob size and pretends he was paying attention. He's still not that great at using the bow, but luckily the magic enchantment on the bow lets it shoot three times with a single arrow, so he still hits the Fly Eye. La Rena takes out another arrow and shoots the Fly Eye directly in the pupil. "Whoops. I think I killed it." The eye drops from the sky and all the Goblins have been slain as well. "There you go. I got the food back."
"You were the one that got the food lost!"
Nogeko walks over to the Fly Eye and pokes around it before taking a treasure chest out of its mouth and dancing around happily. Flurrie heads over and opens it up, finding a Golden Needle. That should be useful if you run into a Petrification enemy. The group returns to the main path and walks along. They approach carefully. Along the road, they see a tiny, green creature. It's pretty ugly. "Stand back!" Seiberg pushes the group back as the creature sucks the life out of multiple mushrooms around it, turning gigantic in size. "That's a Malboro! Its vines and breath are dangerous." The Malboro starts to take in a deep breath and plants it's vines into the ground.
What will you do?

Have Ra Lena and Hope attack it at close range while Nogeko gets the camera ready Fletcher should get in their with peck and generally make an ass of himself. John should try to uproot the vines with Strength. Flurrie's on "blow away its breath attacks" duty. Rena and Bowgeko focus on the main body, while the rest go after the vines. And be ready to play jumprope.

X! How could you say something like that about our darling archer and... whatever Hope's using. Did Mystic mention what the others had and I just forgot...? Other than Seiberg's magic.

Fletcher immediately charges into battle, pecking at Malboro's face while Flurrie keeps herself busy with blowing away the bad breath. Vines start to come up out of the ground as the party manages to jump and dive through them, dodging the attacks. John is sent out and he grabs one of the vines, using his Strength to tear it right up out of the ground and throw it at the Malboro. Daniel and Hope work together to fight off the vines incoming toward Flurrie so she can keep up her blowing. Meanwhile, Nogeko and La Rena get to high ground, standing atop the mushrooms. They unleash a rain of arrows on the Malboro with Rena having more effective shots compared to Nogeko's admittedly. It's still possible to see some improvement, however. Seiberg sets the Malboro ablaze with his Fire spell and Fletcher goes flying right into the flames while pecking at the Malboro. But he doesn't look injured by the flames. In fact, Fletcher starts to glow brightly! He evolves from a Fletchling into a Fletchinder! Fletcher starts to breathe fire at the Malboro as well and it lets out a roar while falling over. As a nasty haze of purple has floats out of it, the Malboro is replaced by a beautiful, blue tree. It glows with a fascinating light and a small pedestal stands in front of it. Seiberg approaches, holding the crystal chalice before placing it down on the pedestal. As smaller lights gather around the tree and swirl around it, a tiny drop of a shining, blue liquid forms on the tree's leaves. It then falls and lands on the chalice. You notice the once empty chalice fills slightly with a floating bubble of water. It's about one third of the way full. "Beautiful, isn't it?"
"So this is what the Myrrh looks like." Daniel looks at it, fascinated.
"Here's your mail, kupo!" A little Moogle comes running in carrying four letters in its mouth. It hands each of them to the party members of the caravan. They read their letters and some are happy while others are sadder. But they all write back a reply and some include gifts. "Thank you, kupo!" The little Moogle runs off with the new letters.
"What were those all about, sugar?" Flurrie asks Daniel about the letters.
"Oh, those were letters from our families back home. They send them from time to time using the Moogle Mail."
"Was there any porn?" Nogeko tries to reach for Hope's letter, but she smacks him.
"No, it was simply my family telling me the weaponry is still in perfectly fine, working order. Lilties take pride in their blacksmithing craftsmanship."
"But who cares if it's not porn?" Before Hope can kill Nogeko, Seiberg points out to the group the way forward is no longer blocked.
"Look over there. You can see Alfitaria from here in the distance. We are this close. Then we can stock up on better supplies."
"Oh, I hope we can get a good nap in. Fighting Malboros is exhausting. They smell bad too..." La Rena follows from behind again.
The caravan reaches Alfitaria and your party looks around the huge city. It's mostly filled with Lilties, but you spot a few Clavats in this town as well. Seiberg heads over to a nearby magic shop while Hope goes to the closest blacksmith. La Rena wanders over toward the item shop and tries to decide what food to get for the journey ahead. Daniel sticks around your party for a bit. "So now that we made it to Alfitaria, what are you guys gonna do? It was cool traveling together and all, but you guys probably have your own stuff to get back to, right?"
What will you say?
What will you do?
Points and people of interest Blacksmith Tailor Magic shop Grocery store Castle Daniel Seiberg Ell Hope La Rena
(Remember those are just things I felt like putting down. You can explore the city to any depth you want. There's also not really a limit to how long you spend exploring. Just remember some NPCs will not wait around.)

Say: We can't afford to just sit around Alfitaria without a chalice. We need to get back into the field if we want to accomplish anything. They've got a chalice and a caravan. We have some extra muscle.
Flurrie can chill with Daniel-san. Try to get on his good side so they don't ditch us.
Nogeko can go help Ra Lena. Is it Ra Lena or La Rena? Guide her from the item shop to the grocery store. This moogleko can give her the best meat she's ever had. Kupo. Proceed to introduce her to the wonders of prosciutto.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Qt7NN1D3ls"Well we can't just wait around here without a chalice, honey. We need to get back to helping fill those chalices and fighting those monsters. If you don't mind, we would like to come along and help you with your journey." Flurrie gives a wink to Daniel. "YEAH! I love it when we get new people to help out! Just not when they steal all our stuff like those thieves did. Those guys were hardcore..." "So, sugar, what would you like to do while we're here? We've got a lot of time before the others finish shopping~" "Oh, I was gonna go relax a little and take a break. The others are doing all the chores, so there's not much I have to do. I guess I could feed and wash the Papaopomus we have." Daniel and Flurrie head over to the wagon the caravan uses and make sure to help feed the Papaopamus and wash it. They sort of bond a little from it. Not a lot, but at least they can say they've spent time together. Meanwhile, Nogeko walks over to La Rena and sees her looking over the different foods to buy. "Those apples don't look really fresh..." "Hey! You're the girl with the easy to see cleavage! Let me help you pick out the food. Watch this. I'm a master at choosing good food." Nogeko hops up and starts to look through the different foods before his eyes settle on one he approves of. "Yep, definitely this." He pulls out a ham and shows it to La Rena. "This is the closest thing I could find to Prosciutto here. It is the best food ever. It's all you need. Forget water or anything else. Just eat this and you'll be good." "Alright, you think so? I guess I'll buy a bunch of them then..." La Rena buys a bunch of ham for their food supplies while Nogeko attempts to look up her skirt. As she places the ham away, she loses sight of Nogeko and walks along, accidentally stepping on him. The group gets back together afterwards and goes over everything they bought. Seiberg takes out some different magic scrolls. "Here, these contain some basic level spells. One for Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder. I suggest some of you pick up on a little magic. It may be useful to know some." Hope hands a better shield to Daniel. This one is larger than his other shield, which should defend better, but may make him slower and make it more difficult to move. "Here. This should help you with your defensive abilities. This shield is very sturdy." La Rena places a bunch of ham down so everyone can see it. Everyone just stares at her for a long moment before Hope starts yelling at her. "RENA! This is all just ham! How are we supposed to survive off of JUST ham!? We need other nutrients too!" Seiberg places a hand on Hope and tries to make her relax. "Calm down. At least we still have the food from before. There's still enough left until we need to stop again." With all of the new things sorted out, Daniel speaks up. "Hey, guys, Flurrie and Nogeko want to stick around with us for a little longer. Can they please? We could use the help, right?" Seiberg contemplates the situation a moment before responding. "Well, they have proven to be useful allies in battle already. They do not seem to have any ulterior motives in helping us. As fellow caravaneers, we should be able to work together." La Rena shrugs. "If they take my boring job of watching the back, I'm okay." "...Fine." Hope folds her arms. "But I don't want any trouble from any of you. Got that?" She points to Nogeko. "I dunno what you're talking about. I'm an angel." "..." She just glares at him. "Yay! It looks like we'll be all traveling together!" Daniel seems excited. "Yes, but first things first. Which direction will we be headed in. I've already taken the time to check the map and find a route toward Shella. It seems that there are two different dungeons we could stop by along the way with the fork in the road, but both ways lead to Shella. One way has a mysterious mansion and the other leads to what used to be a small village. It was destroyed and overtaken by Miasma, however." How will you distribute the magic scrolls? Which path will you take?

(I RNGd the Blizzard scroll between Flurrie and La Rena and the goddess demands that La Rena uses Blizzard.) Hope studies the Fire Scroll, learning the secrets of fire magic and gaining access to the spell Fire! Daniel does the same with the Thunder Scroll, learning Thunder and La Rena learns Blizzard. The party then gets ready to set out in the direction of that strange mansion. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Fn1Pw-LxU8Upon reaching the mansion, the party enters the front garden. Beautiful flowers grow in the garden and a large arch stands close to the entrance of the mansion with a closed gate. A mysterious mechanism sits next to it. There's a moon shaped hole in it. Two intimidating gargoyles are placed on top of both sides of the closed gate. There's a fountain nearby in the garden. There's also an eerie feeling of being watched. "Be careful, there may be enemies in hiding." "It looks like a key goes into that weird thing." Daniel points to the mechanism. "Search around for a moon shaped object to place inside." Hope starts to walk toward the fountain. "Why don't we just take a nap...?" La Rena yawns. "We could always climb up the fence and take pictures of them changing in their bedrooms." Nogeko points out the vines growing on the side of the building near the gate up to the window. What will you do?

Don't worry, La Rena. You can curl up for a nice nap later. We even have an adorable little stuffed animal for you to snuggle up with~ And now that I've finally got to make that joke, I can stop with the shipping.
...Have you ever had an idea that you know is a terrible idea but you're just so, so curious? Give the eye gem to Hope and tell her to try putting it in the fountain. Tell everyone else to stay back. Maybe it'll reform the monster as a friend? Or maybe it'll go horribly. But this is why we experiment under safeish conditions. Like, don't want Nogeko falling in water and it activating in his pocket or something.

Nogeko takes out his Eye Gem and hands it over to Hope. The light in it seems to be gone. "Here, put this in the fountain. This definitely isn't an attempt at getting some quality tentacle porn." Nogeko gets the camera and waits to watch Hope. She sighs, annoyed with Nogeko. www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIshU2oExmwHope walks over to the fountain and throws in the Eye Gem. There's a splashing sound and then it is completely quiet. The silence is somewhat uneasy. Then from the fountain, the strange eye gem starts to float back up out. It suddenly flashes and the color comes back to its gem as it flies out of the water, splashing water all over the place and covering Hope in a spray of water which the group cannot see through. When the water clears, it is revealed that the strange Eye Gem is staring Hope directly in the face, inspecting her. The light is not red this time, but rather green. The amorphous water takes the form of a vaguely humanoid shape. The Eye Gem carefully walks around Hope and stares at her some more. It looks over at your party as well, seemingly expressionless. What will you do?
