The caravan of... Thataway.

"We came from Thataway!" Nogeko points off into the distance towards the tree.
"Thataway...An interesting name for a town..." Seiberg seems lost in thought.
"So why don't you have your Crystal Chalice with you? It's dangerous to go wandering around in the Miasma without one."
Flurrie tries to cover up the whole elevator thing. "You see, we dropped it, honey. Now we can't find it. We were lucky you came by. Having some nice caravaneers to help out is always good~" She winks to them.
"That's terrible. If your chalice is lost, your town will be destroyed! The Miasma will completely consume it."
"Right, but don't you worry, sweetie. There's already another one already on the job."
"Uh...Okay."
Before the conversation gets much further, a girl comes walking in from behind the caravan, yelling. "Why did we stop? Come on, guys, we can't just wait around and expect to find Myrrh." A very short girl with orange hair shaped sort of like an onion with leaves in her head comes walking in. "Oh. Who's this?"
"This is the caravan from Thataway."
"Never heard of it. Who are you guys?"
"We're just lost travelers, sugar. No need to get so bent out of shape. We were lost and hoping you could help us find our way around." Nogeko notices the girl and wonders what her feet look like.
Daniel tries to explain to the girl. "What do you think? Can we help them out?"
"That depends. Where are you two headed?"
What will you say?

We are headed... to a harrowing challenge, a climactic showdown, and a brighter tomorrow.

I guess add a couple of Kupos in there and we are good. If all else fails then Porn our way out right.

"We are headed... to a harrowing challenge, a climactic showdown, and a brighter tomorrow, kupo." Nogeko poses dramatically atop Flurrie's head. This is followed by an awkward silence before Daniel breaks it.
"YEA-"
"No." The girl crosses her arms. "We are not taking a couple of lunatics with us."
Seiberg interjects. "Well we cannot simply leave them here to die in Miasma. I suggest we take them with us. At least until we reach Alfitaria."
"...Fine. But ONLY until we get to Alfitaria."
To Be Continued

(Because I didn't get a chance to, here are images of the caravan.) Daniel Seiberg Ell Hope (On Right) Ra Lena (On Left) The Wild Crows are accepted as temporary members of the caravan, walking along with them or floating in Flurrie's case. The caravan moves along until coming close to the forest of mushrooms. As they approach, Seiberg turns to your party. "This forest is very dangerous. There are many monsters in here. Do not worry though. We are well equipped for combat. If you are incapable of fighting, you may wait in the wagon. We must travel through this forest to reach Alfitaria, however. That and we can collect a drop of Myrrh for the crystal back at home." Daniel starts jumping around excitedly with his sword and shield in hand. "Yes! I'm so excited! Our first dungeon!" "Somebody get him under control. If he wakes up those worm things, I might kill him myself." The girl from before comes walking along past you two carrying a strange chalice. And by carrying, I mean she's bouncing it on her head. "You will have to forgive Ell Hope. She is not very trusting of people since we let that band of thieves into our caravan. They stole most of our things..." "Seiberg, hurry up! We've got to get that Myrrh." Seiberg continues onward, taking the lead with the other two. It looks like up ahead there are a bunch of sleeping insects. Will you fight or stay behind? What will you do?

Sleeping insects!? Fletcher! Sit quietly on Flurrie's shoulder and be ready to fight if the wake up as we quietly and politely follow them.
Bandits already stole most of their stuff, so forget my other idea.

The party quietly moves along past the strange insects. Flurrie and Nogeko stay behind Daniel and Hope with Seiberg. They make it through without waking them up luckily, but what looks to be a group of mischievous imps waits ahead. They're all dancing together, but as the caravan approaches, the imps take out pitchforks and look like they're going to attack. Hope places the chalice down and takes out a lance while Daniel holds his weapon ready. Seiberg reaches for a staff on his back as well. Fletcher flaps his wings a little and jumps on top of Flurrie's shoulder, telling her he's ready to take down the bad guys. Nogeko is wearing his battle armor. Also known as the dinosaur suit he stole from that nerd.
What will you do?

Flurrie creates a fog that only her allies can see through, blinding the imps while Daniel and Hope hack their way through their enemies. Nogeko holds up porn and shows it to one of the imps before sucker punching him and running away. Fletcher flies around, quickly pecking the imps as well. As the fog clears, the last imp is defeated in a sudden blast of fire. The party moves onward and comes to a point where the path splits. There's a bouncy mushroom nearby that will lead up to a treasure chest and another path leading forwards even further. "We can't get the entire caravan up to that chest. Someone will have to run in without the chalice and get back before they suffocate in Miasma."
"Be careful of traps as well."
What will you do?
(Fun Fact: Traps were a leading cause of death in the original Gates Trilogy. Fighting Wonder Woman was just below that.)

Traps were a leading cause of death in the original Gates Trilogy. Just gonna nope the **** outta that one. If these idiots want to kill themselves, they can be our guests. But I'm not voting to mess with a trap that we can't try to disarm because of the whole "suffocation" thing. Onward.

"Let's not risk it, okay sweetie? Better safe than dead~"
Hope seems to approve. "Hm. Good plan. Let's not go jumping into danger."
"Aww..." Daniel seems kinda sad, but perks back up and runs ahead to the front, looking around. Seiberg carries the chalice next to Flurrie and Nogeko.
"I'm surprised things are going this well. It is our first dungeon after all. We are a new caravan from Tipa."
"Hey guys! I found some treasure! Look at it! It's just sitting here!" There are two treasure chests sitting right in the middle of the path.
"Hmm..."
What will you do?

Seems legit. I don't remember what the traps in CC did. This seems like a relatively safe time to find out. Have NogekoMogeko throw the left chest at the right chest while everyone else stays as far back as possible.

Nogeko walks up to the left chest, picking it up and throwing it into the right chest. As it smashes into the right chest, the wooden chest blasts open from the right chest chomping on it. A cool looking bow falls on the ground. The right chest is revealed to be a Mimic and it charges toward Nogeko. Luckily, it explodes in a burst of flames from Seiberg's spell. Nogeko is disappointed that there is no porn, but picks up the cool looking bow anyways. The group advances a little further, but strange dust starts to float down from above, sparkling. A giant moth flies above...

Bowgeko Attack the Moth! Also Fletchling. Moths love fire. Birds eat moths. That's like 4x effectiveness.

Nogeko takes out the cool bow and shoots it at the moth, not really knowing how to use it all that well. He falls over while shooting it, but he notices three arrows fly out of the bow instead of one. At least one of them hits the moth and Fletcher flies up to the moth, pecking at it. The party is suddenly unable to move, however. The strange, sparkling dust coming from the moth has paralyzed them all! The giant moth descends, screeching at the party. While this happens, someone comes walking from out of the wagon, yawning. "What are you guys doing...? I was trying to sleep..." She's got blue hair and holds a bow.
"Sleep!? You were supposed to be watching the back of the wagon!" Hope is pretty mad.
"But it got so boring I got tired."
Seiberg attempts to bring attention back to the real problem. "Now's not the time. La Rena was out of range of the paralyzing dust. She can help us out of this."
"We're all gonna die."
What will you do?

Tell La Rena to come carefully knock the paralyzing scales off, trying not to get any on herself. Wait, she has a bow, not the staff... Well, she can still kick people. Starting with Flurrie. Then Nogeko, since I guess he's into that?
Flurrie can then use her Gale Force to blow everyone else clean. And keep blowing away new dust. After that, everyone pour it on. Go for the wings.

"Sugar, would you mind getting some of this off of me?" La Rena walks up to Flurrie and kicks her back, knocking the dust off. Flurries then takes her chance to blow all of the strange dust away and everyone lets loose their attacks. Rena and Nogeko put holes in the moth's wings and it falls to the ground, screeching. Hope and Daniel cut what's left of the wings off and the moth squirms around on the ground angrily. Seiberg sets it ablaze with fire and it burns to death among the flames.
Before the group moves on, Nogeko yells out. "Wait! I think I have more dust on me. You'll have to kick me too, Rena." He giggles to himself,
"I'll handle this." Hope cracks her knuckles and then kicks Nogeko powerfully into a giant mushroom.
"GAAAAAAHHHHH!"
"Now that that is over...RENA! You were supposed to be watching our rear."
"But it's so boringggg..."
"But it keeps us from getting attacked by monsters. What if they stole our stuff?"
Daniel leans in. "Uh, hey, are those Goblins supposed to be running off with our food supplies?"
"WHAT!?" Looking behind the wagon you can see Goblins running off carrying crates of food.
Seiberg weighs the decision of what to do next. "Well, if we give chase, we risk running into more monsters, but if we continue forwards we will have to spend most of what Gil we have left on new supplies..."
What will you do?
