Challenge Tower

Flurrie hands Captain Toad a Pokeball and is about to explain how to capture a Pokemon before a crazy old man pops out of the grass. He's bald, but has a magnificent beard and carries a cane with him to help walk. "Did someone say tutorial?" He then hobbles over to Captain Toad. "Let me give you an unskippable tutorial on how to catch Pokemon, whippersnapper." He then inserts himself into the Pokemon battle, replacing John Cena as the active Pokemon.

Crazy Old Man Tuto used Tutorial!

"Now then, when the Pokemon's health is low, you can throw a Pokeball at it, but I'm crazy and old, so I'm going to catch this wild Rattata that I've conjured with my tutorial magic while the health bar is green. I'm either incredibly lucky or incredibly stupid. Or both!" He chucks a Pokeball at the Rattata that somehow appeared and critical captures it. He then begins rambling on about how you need to push the bag button to get the Pokeball and giant finger icons begin appearing everywhere and slowly poking things.

Overwhelmed, Captain Toad throws a Pokeball at the Geodude. It shakes a little, but then clicks, confirming the capture of your new Geodude! Tuto then waddles over to Captain Toad. "Oh, good catch there, whippersnapper. You know, this reminds me of one time where..."

Flurrie places one finger on the old man's mouth. "Why don't you just hush up now, sugar? We've got a world to save~"

"Whazzat you say? Saving the world? Why, yes, I can do that. I'll teach you all the basics you need to know. Here, allow me to forcibly join the party against your will."

Crazy Old Man Tuto forcibly joins the party against your will!

Hostage Link, now bound and muffled, attempts to complain about how the old man won't stop trying to give everyone tutorials, but can't because he is bound and muffled.

Nogeko flies down and lands his Arwing on the palm tree island. However, as soon as he walks out, he notices that the palm trees are all actually alive. And staring at him. And look angry. It seems he just landed on an island full of Alolan Exeggutor that were peacefully sleeping and the arwing woke them up...

La Rena lands on the island with the small house and takes a look around. It's strangely peaceful here. As if there's an aura of just...peacefulness. She heads into the tall grass with Mr. Fish at her side, searching around for Pokemon. She soon comes across a small, green Pokemon. A wild Budew appeared! Is sways back and forth and makes a cute little noise at La Rena before shaking. It seems scared.

"Cute." La Rena reaches for a Pokeball, but realizes she doesn't actually have one. "...Oh."

Nogeko lifts up his porn and shows it to them. "Ehhh?" They don't seem amused. He lifts up prosciutto. "EHHHH?" They seem very not amused. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Nogeko runs away, jumping on the arwing and flying off as a barrage of coconuts are launched at him. The ship takes some damage from the attacks, but can still fly fine. He should probably get it repaired though...

Captain Toad picks up the Pokeball before spinning around and holding it up in the air happily. Crazy Old Man Tuto then starts telling Link about the importance of tutorials through a tutorial while multiple wild Rattata sit on him and squeak. Link tries to scroll through the text as fast as possible, but as he mashes the A button, he asks if he wants to hear the tutorial again and it always auto hovers over the Yes button.

While the others are busy being unproductive, Flurrie sends Fletcher and Cth to scout around the mountain. When they return, Fletcher makes tweeting sounds at Flurrie, trying to get her to follow him.

Nogeko doesn't have any Pokeballs either.

Umm well just take the Budew with us then or have Nogeko fly to Old Man get a Pokeball or 2 and head towards La Rena.


In the meantime La Rena will coddle the Budew and tell it everything will be okay in the most La Rena way possible

La Rena calls up Nogeko. "Get me a Pokeball or I'll kill you."

"Okay!" Nogeko calls up Flurrie. "Do you have any Pokemon Mrs. Stage Presence?"

"Sure do, sugar." Flurrie winks despite the fact Nogeko can't see her. "But this old man has a lot more than I do. Come get them from the mountain."

"Okay!" Nogeko flies the arwing over to the mountain and walks up to Old Man Tuto. After a short lecture and tutorial on learning things that he doesn't care about, Old Man Tuto hands Nogeko a singular Pokeball. Nogeko then flees while he still can.

Captain Toad looks over at hostage Link and shrugs. He then wanders over into the tall grass and pokes around until a wild Pidgey pops out. Captain Toad is about to start a Pokemon battle, but his Geodude is knocked out.

Flurrie decides to leave, letting Captain Toad and that old guy play around with the wild Pokemon. She follows after Fletcher and the two head up the mountain, finding that it suddenly gets very cold and begins snowing. As they head up, they come across what looks like ancient ruins. Some kind of temple. It's being guarded by two Alolan Ninetails standing solemnly at the entrance.

La Rena picks up the Budew and stares at it. "You're fine." It begins crying in terror.

Nogeko then lands his arwing and runs out, handing a Pokeball to La Rena. She takes the ball and kicks Nogeko away before poking the Pokeball into Budew. It seems to afraid to try and escape the Pokeball. Victory...?

He still doesn't have any pokeballs, X.

La Rena attempts to get Mrs. Sunshine out of her Pokeball, but it seems she's happy hiding inside of it right now. Rena walks over into the grass and pokes around a bit until a Riolu jumps out and punches her right in the nose. Rena falls backward with a nosebleed while the Riolu runs deeper into the grass, hiding and watching.

Flurrie floats over to the Ninetails. "How's it going, sugar?" They don't respond. Instead, they stand guard over the temple.

Captain Toad runs over to Tuto and shrieks. Tuto sends out his Alolan Rattata to battle it instead. "Now let me teach you something about type advantages. We don't have one!"

Nogeko lands on whirlpool island, calling out Scruff. The two of them head into the cave. Nogeko screams something about porn while he's in there, the entire way down. The two of them head to the center of the cave and find what looks like a big, sleeping Pokemon in the water.

Nogeko leaves the whirlpool islands, getting back on the arwing. In the most inefficient waste of fuel I've ever seen, he flies all the way back to the main island and goes into the Pokemart. There, they seem to be selling Pokeballs. They're 500 Poke each. Nogeko checks his wallet and notices he has 100 Poke. A singular tear runs down his cheek.

Rena calls out Mr. Fish and launches the Riolu that punched her into the ocean with Confusion. It looks like it's drowning.

La Rena gets in the arwing and flies around the Riolu in circles. How exactly did she plan on saving this thing inside of an arwing...?

Nogeko attempts to vend his porn and a concerned mother covers the eyes of her children. He then takes out his Austur porn and the person working at the pokemart calls the police. Officer Jenny soon appears with a Growlithe at her side. "Stop right there, cat. You're being taken in for public indecency!" She points at Nogeko dramatically.

Tuto walks over to the Pidgey and tells it how to get caught while Captain Toad runs around in circles, screaming. As this happens, an angry Fearow suddenly descends upon the group from the mountain top. It seems it isn't very happy that you've been scaring away its friends and disrupting its peace and quiet.

Flurrie tells Cth to talk to the Alolan Ninetails. He asks them what they're doing in the edgiest way possible. They ignore him and stand guard.
