Let Flurrie blow the thing out of the geyser, then Waite can walk out of the barrier and grab it. Probably safely.

Flurrie unleashes a powerful gust of wind at the geyser, causing a moon shaped stone to fall out. Waite exits the barrier and grabs the moon shaped stone. He seems unaffected by the miasma. Waite returns and places the moon stone into the ancient mechanism, causing the gate to open. The party can move onward toward what looks to be the source of the water or they can backtrack to the ancient, ruined tower.
What will you do?

m.youtube.com/watch?v=onyTjuhAP-gThe party moves onward inside of an ancient structure. Complicated patterns of different symbols line the walls and water flows around the area. As the party advances forward, an odd stone blocks the way. A red light starts to glow on it before different stones scattered across the room fly quickly over to it, forming together a giant golem. Two glowing, yellow eyes stare down the group from on top at the head and the red stone can be seen in the center chest area. The golem stomps forward and takes a battle stance. "I AM THE PROTECTOR OF THIS STRUCTURE. IF YOU WISH TO PASS, YOU MUST DEFEAT ME." m.youtube.com/watch?v=sYOH4PYYCKwThe Wild Crows get into position, ready for battle.

Flurrie sends out Machop to take the front while the others stay back. Flurrie creates a fog to hide her allies within while Seiberg casts Poison on the Golem. The party can see poisonous bubbles form all around the Golem while Daniel, Hope, and La Rena all start casting a spell together. A large, magic circle appears beneath the Golem. John jumps up and uses Rock Smash on the head, breaking it apart and damaging the Golem before it uses a large fist to smash John into the ground, knocking out the Machop in a single, powerful blow. As Flurrie returns John to his Pokeball, the magic spell is released on the Golem. A giant, purple sphere surrounds it before shrinking inwards and crushing the Golem on all sides, causing it to suddenly get very heavy. The Golem looks incapable of moving from its current position. It spins its arms around to blow away the fog before holding its fists out in front of it toward the party. A clicking sound can be heard from the golem. Tiny Waite runs off toward the water, jumping in and hiding inside. He is gathering up water...
What will you do?

Flurrie: Body Slam the red gem Nogeko/Rena: Arherize the red gem Sei: (I don't actually remember how poison worked...) so cast Poison again over and over Hope/Daniel: Gravity on the hands

Flurrie leaps into the Golem while Hope and Daniel cast Gravity on the hands, pointing them downward. Flurrie smashes into the Golem's center, destroying any rocks around the red piece and exposing it further. The Golem tries to launch its fists at the party, but just launches them into the ground. Seiberg casts Posion again as green bubbles surround the Golem. Nogeko and La Rena unleash a rain of arrows on the Golem's red piece as well, damaging it multiple times. The Golem gets angry and prepares to spin its arms around to destroy Flurrie, but suddenly, multiple tentacles on all sides appear, latching onto the Golem and tearing it apart before smashing the gem apart. A giant Waite comes out of the water. He's got to be about three times his original size. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOIBvD0cxsMThe party moves on with Giant Waite, heading through the newly opened gate. Inside, they find not only a Myrrh Tree, but a strange mechanism with three different levers. Seiberg carries the chalice over to the Myrrh Tree and watches as the last drop of Myrrh falls, filling the chalice with a glowing, blue liquid. It's filled all the way and creates a sphere of the glowing water. Those that were in the caravan all smile and seem to be in a very good mood now. A full chalice is a sign of hope. Seiberg then walks over to the strange mechanism, deciphering the ancient language on it to figure out how the simple machine works. He pulls the center lever and you can hear the water running faster in the area. Water levels have been restored to normal! www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HySDdqmW14The party sits down for a break before they start on their way home. While they sit down, the Mail Moogle comes charging in with some letters. One for Daniel, one for Seiberg, one for Hope, one for La Rena, and one for Flurrie. Daniel received a letter back from his mother. "2/3 full already? Wow, you all do make quick work of these dungeons, don't you! We're all very excited to see you back home once you find your last drop of Myrrh. I'm confident you'll be here sooner than we can say kupo! In fact, I bet you already got the last drop by the time you get my letter. I'll tell the other families in Tipa that you'll all be home soon. It will be great to have the Annual Festival again. Come home safely and we'll make you something good to eat! Love you!" There was 500 Gil included. It must have been some extra cash from their recent harvest. Seiberg received a letter from his father. "That sounds...concerning. Well, I have heard that you will be back soon. We can speak then. I'm sure we have quite a bit to talk about. Regardless, do not get distracted out there. The last thing I want is my son coming back home as scrap metal. I have bought you another scroll for your magical studies. Oh, and thank you for the sample of water from your more recent locations. It was quite useful. We have been able to use the data from it to put together some new potions. Tell all your friends to come browse our wares when back in town. Travel safely." A Clear Scroll is included. Hope received a letter from her father. "I heard your party is progressing well, Hope. I am disappointed, however. Only two thirds full? I'll have you know the original Alfitaria caravan already had theirs filled to the brim by the time you had two drops. You need to hold up the family name and the lilty honor. Remember where you came from. The others do not have such a great ancestry to live up to, but you do. Regardless of your failure to keep up, do return safely. Ah, and your brother asked I send you a gift." An Iron Hammer was included. It has Hope's name engraved on the handle. It must have been made by her brother. La Rena received a letter from her father. "Hey, I heard you guys are coming back super soon! I'm looking forward to it! The festival is where we make the most sales of the year! Of course, I have to find a way to stop messing up all the time to make any profit. I'm guessing your sister told you about when I lost all the fish we were selling. Well, I also somehow found a way to break the oven so it burns everything. So I threw out the bread. And then a bunch of crows ate all of our stock we had outside that wasn't bread. And then they pooped all over our market stall. Well...that happened. Sorry for being such a downer. But I'm trying my best! I expect you are too! I won't have much for you to return home to, but I'll do anything I can for you! Sorry I didn't have enough Gil to get you a gift...but return home in one piece, alright?" Flurrie received a letter from the Lioness. "Thank you for your concern, but it may be for the best that we are left alone. Our kind is despised by the four races. Monsters are not allowed to live the same lives as others. But we are not the real monsters. We just wish to live peacefully together in our home, but travelers often jump right to the conclusion of battle. Just the other day somebody killed my beautiful Coeurl kitten. She was so young. It appears that your sign has helped, however. There have been significantly less travelers near our home. That I thank you for." There's 100 Gil included in the package. How will you respond? Will you attach a gift?

Daniel: All full! We'll be home soon. Just making a quick stop to check out something weird we found in the dungeon. (no gift)
Seiberg: It's nothing so upsetting. I just question whether my talents lend me to alchemy so well as general magic. We found this pot in a dungeon, perhaps it has unusual properties. (Nogeko's hat)
Hope: (drawing of an extended middle finger) We're full. Coming home. Tell bro he just made his first sale. (300 gil)
Rena: K. (fish)

(Just checking)
Daniel, Seiberg, La Rena, and Hope all send in their letters to the Mail Moogle as he runs off holding them. The party then prepares to set out again, hoping to check out the ruined tower along the way. They head on over to the ruined structure, noticing that the stairs up to the top of it are destroyed. They'll need to find a way to get up. They can also hear something close to snoring, but not quite. It sounds different. It definitely sounds like sleeping though.
What will you do?

Is Waite still Giant Waite? See if we can figure out how to get it to lift the others. Or act as a ramp. For people to... swim up. Minecraft flashbacks...

Giant Waite picks up the other party members and places them up on top of the structure, waiting at the bottom by himself. Now that they are on top of the ruined structure, the party can see a sleeping Griffin in its nest. It hasn't noticed you yet. The Griffin is sleeping right next to a shiny, small object. It's hard to make out what exactly it is...

There might be eggs, but they are not currently visible.
