So, no griffin joyriding? (It's almost as good as a dragon)
Warin and Aeva are either going to be best bros or constantly at each other's throats.

I'd thought about how pixies feel about gnomes, but I never thought about how gnomes would feel about pixies...
They're both be in-tune with nature and have some basic respect for each other. But. It's a well-kept secret that gnomes are actually super-manipulative and always trying to maneuver for political/social gain. To the point that gnomes will make troublesome gnomes disappear to keep that secret. Pixies, on the other hand, are more tempestuous. It would be a fairly well-known fact that pixies are super-manipulative, but purely for the sake of ****ing with people. I imagine the pixies would realize how manipulative the gnomes are. Can't scam a scammer.
Most races are, I think, OK with gnomes? But probably don't much care for pixies... Which is fine with them, they like being left alone up in the highlands. Though pixie explorers afflicted with wanderlust would probably be more common than I originally imagined. At the least it'd be common to run into younger pixies playing near their strongholds. Which is probably how they got a reputation as pranksters. Stupid kids.
Pixies would think gnomes are uptight, under-evolved little schemers. Calling a pixie a gnome... Not only would you be comparing them to a lesser race, you'd also be calling them dishonest. Sure, they're prone to emotional outbursts, but at least you can tell what they're really thinking. Pixies would probably be pretty approving of the "rebel" gnomes that live outside gnomish society, though.
Gnomes would think pixies are hot-headed fools, and possibly even consider them a potential problem. Like they might spoil things the gnomes have worked for. Since some people already associate pixies and gnomes, having people . They'd probably be more or less fine with pixie society, so long as they stayed up in their little strongholds. They'd probably consider most wandering pixies - the ones who aren't minding their manners, at least - a threat. Calling a gnome a pixie would probably be a considerable insult. At best, it'd be like calling them a brat.
So... Pixie society <---subtle contempt---> Gnomish society Pixie society ---approves of---> Individualist gnomes Gnomish society ---distrusts---> Individualist pixies

So what can pixies call pixies that gnomes can't call pixies?

There's a rather off-color joke that immediately springs to mind, but it's, y'know, not exactly appropriate. My flitter.

If Aeva is anything to go by, Pixies are also much more humanlike than Gnomes. If anything, someone who's never seen a Pixie before would probably think they're a Halfling instead of a Gnome. While Pixies live in large cities in the Overworld, Gnomes live in nomadic colonies in the Under, or in dark forests. They typically have long, pointed noses and long pointed ears, and similar skin color to the Drow. Their ears and nose evolved over the centuries to compensate for the darkness of the Under, which often not even Nightvision can penetrate, and to help them avoid the terrifying predators of the Under.
Also, you didn't buy an Exotic Saddle Crow, so you can't go Griffin joyriding anyway. Don't worry, Aeva will be able to go dragon joyriding all she wants once she meets a certain somebody.

You can ride a horse bareback. You could ride a griffin bareback. If you had a deathwish. Or Fearless. Which I have and will continue to use to justify doing things that are ooc idiotic and stupid. Did I mention I played an android character after Minerva retired? It couldn't understand sarcasm at all. Which led to it almost killing itself at the mechanist's "advice." Twice. Both times proceeded with "now, out of character, I know this is an idiotic thing to do..."
...Actually, I feel like I use that line at lot... That line's actually what got my first character killed...

I feel like if Fearless Aeva ever gets killed, it's because she'll have tried to ride the Red.

Would the 5-mile-long dragon care - or even notice - about the tiny pixie? You could build a small town on the thing and it wouldn't even slow it down.

If the tiny pixie had an uber powerful magic sword and was repeatedly stabbing said dragon over and over again, I'd think he'd notice eventually.

Too much giggity in the last few posts for my mind to handle. So, no griffin joyriding? (It's almost as good as a dragon) Warin and Aeva are either going to be best bros or constantly at each other's throats. Church rivals If the Church was a harem anime protagonist, Warin and Aeva would be their older and younger sister respectively.

I've seen the little sister played so many ways I have no idea what you mean. But I take it that means Warin's all caring and doting. Possibly not because he likes the church or anything. Then there's the uncles. Actual spoilers...? One's nice and rational and raised Seidou-nii pretty much by himself. The other's an insane alcoholic who showed up covered in blood, dropped baby Seidou-nii off with the other, and now only shows up at Christmas and when Seidou-nii needs a smack in the back of the head.

Huh. I completely forgot to mention what kind of gems and jewels you guys found in the dragon hoard last session. Sooowy. Ice Dragonblood Ruby(Large) x3 Ice Dragonblood Sapphire(Large) x5 Ice Dragonblood Opal(Medium) x2 Ice Dragonblood Emerald(Ancient) x1 Dragonblood gems are very special gems adored by- you guessed it- dragons. Dragons go absolutely bonkers over them, and I really wish I had remembered to say this during the session, because even Seren would have been fawning over the gems like they were her new children. Dragonblood gems are created naturally over the span of many years, sometimes decades, sometimes even centuries. The older a Dragonblood gem is, the bigger it is, the more beautiful it is, and the more it's worth. When a dragon sits on their hoard, their breath gradually changes and shapes the precious stones they possess, infusing them with draconic energy, changing the stone's appearance. Naturally, this means there is a different type of Dragonblood gem for each of the different dragon breaths(Fire, Ice, Lightning, Poison, and Acid). While all dragons love DBGs in general, they especially love gems of their own type and color. So much so that they would pay just about anything for them, and even kill for them. Also, the best way to earn a dragon's affection is to give him/her a Dragonblood Gem of their color and type as a present. Dragons typically give them to each other as marital gifts or signs of affection and desire. You don't just give a Fire Dragonblood Ruby to a Red Dragon all casual-like. Not unless you happen to be their spouse. Or you really want to be. While you can sell Dragonblood Gems to any Jeweler like normal gems, it would be a much better idea to hold onto them until you find the right... Buyer. Or, you know, give them to the poor little dragon in the party who doesn't have a hoard of her own. Poor Seren. Also, you can give Dragonblood Gems to certain Enchanters and Blacksmiths in places like Horizon, and they can create draconic magic items for you. For a price, of course. Rarity Chart: Small - Common Medium - Uncommon Large - Rare Huge - Very Rare Ancient - Ultra Rare

Oh right.
Ruby - Red Dragon Sapphire - Blue Dragon Opal - White Dragon Emerald - Green Dragon Onyx - Black Dragon
Sunstone - Gold Dragon Moonstone - Silver Dragon Amber - Bronze Dragon Topaz - Copper Dragon
Diamonds are special. They're loved by all types of dragons and are even more of a romantic or loving gift. They're the rarest gem by far.

So... If this is even a bit inconvenient for anyone, forget it. But is there any chance we could start doing session Thursdays, at least through summer? Bluntly, my throat's usually torn up between work Fri afternoon and STARS right after.

I can do Thursdays through the summer, though it might mean I have less time to work on maps. But once I start working on Weekdays again, the campaign has to be on Saturday.
