How long until we get to Drakkenhall, in terms of activities, not an estimate of sessions? You're still technically in the prologue part of the campaign. After the meetings with the Priestess, and after you meet the big villain of the first arc, the party will be officially employed by the Church to uncover the cause of the natural balance going out of whack and find a way to fix it. That's where I'm basically giving you guys complete control over where you go and what you do first. You will have the option to decide which Icon you think will help you best, and each place or Icon you go to will have either a small questline that will lead you elsewhere, or a much bigger story that branches into the overall plot. Breaking down the recommended options, you can visit the Archmage in Horizon, the Emperor in Axis, the Blue in Drakkenhall, the Elf Queen in the Queen's Wood, the GGW in the Golden Citadel, or you can attempt to search for the High Druid. But like the name implies, those are just the GM recommended options. You guys will have complete freedom over what you want to do- within reason, of course. I still retain the right as GM to veto any seriously insane ideas. You guys have two dungeons, one possible roadside encounter, and two meetings with the Priestess before I turn you loose on the poor unsuspecting world.

IIs that how you managed to get with the Elf Queen because of your impressive booty No, because of his impressive looty. That's...surprisingly true. My exploration booty got me to her. I rolled a 20 and then 100 and then another 100.

Let's go murder the Blue. Or that's what Spydvinge would do.

I was reading more about the icons, so... Since we're liable to meet her soon, is there any particular decorum to meeting The Priestess a paladin should know? Other than "no, Karth, no." As for the icon relations to each other... Specifically, how the Church sees the others. Tell me if I've got it right. Friends with the Archmage Respectful to TGGW Neutral to the Elf, Dorfking, Druid, and Dragons? Not too keen on Shadow the Princehog Super-big-time-unfriends with The Crusader and Lich King And... officially aligned with the Emperor, but with a bit of "is the church trying to usurp my power?" in the background? Definitely "no, Karth, no." Other than that... Not really, no. The Priestess doesn't really care much for formality, unless she's hosting some big event or giving a sermon. But for a private meeting, just be polite and courteous and defer to her, like in any meeting with a ruler or powerful person. Also, give her some time to respond, because sometimes she'll just consult the Gods of Light in the middle of a conversation. All casual-like. It's kinda why, despite her dislike of formality, people still tend to worship her and bow at her feet. Another thing she doesn't like. Yes to all of those relations, with the exception of the dragons. The Priestess tolerates the Three as a necessary evil, but they're still evil to her. Definitely not neutral towards the Three. Some minor notes though: the Priestess is very respectful to the GGW and his emissaries, almost even reverent. An astute person hearing her talk about the GGW might even come to the conclusion she knows something about the GGW that others don't. Like maybe he's actually a God of Light in physical form. I can't stress the last part enough. While the Priestess and the Emperor are official allies- the Church is a part of the Empire after all- there's heavy politics and scheming behind the scenes. It's rumored the Emperor offered to make their alliance more intimate, with an offer of an arranged marriage between him and the Priestess, but she turned him down and the Dragon Emperor didn't take too kindly to that. Edit: Also super-duper-big-time-unfriends with the Diabolist. You know, crazy demon lady who summons demons, lives in the Hell Marsh, and wants to kill the GGW and the Priestess and drown the world in everlasting hellfire.

Let's go murder the Blue. Or that's what Spydvinge would do. I think a certain Dragonspawn would take offense to that idea. So would the Emperor, actually. The Blue is kinda an official Imperial Governor. But I think the Blue would end up being the one killing a certain robot.

How long until Karth tries to flirt with her? Remember, Karth. There's nothing wrong with a random barmaid. It doesn't always have to be icons and priestesses and governesses and people who can generally make our lives Hell.

I could always roll a 6 on my relationship die and the Blue could take pity on Spydvinge's existence as a literal murder machine and spare him.

Conflicted Relationship bordering on a negative one, not positive. There's no way the Blue would spare a literal killing machine who's killed countless dragons before, especially if he tried to attack her. She might not outright dismantle Speed, but she definitely wouldn't spare him. Rolling a 6 would only serve to make the torture a bit less painful. Or, you know, the Blue will just have Speed arrested and thrown in the Underground Coliseum until he dies or the party decides to rescue him.

I probably asked and forgot, but for the sake of planning STARS stuff... When are we meeting this week? Wed, Thurs, or Sat?
Er... Actually... Come to think of it, it's the 11th... So Grandpa's birthday is Wed. I don't know yet if the party will be Wed, Fri, Sat, or Sun. One of those days I'll be unavailable. I'll let you know which one ASAP.
Edit: Can't do Wed.

Definitely "no, Karth, no." I think Warin will cover that part pretty well, since the Priestess is his boss and the party is an unruly bunch. He's overly respectful of other peoples' house rules, so I figure he'd be Frederick levels of diligent around her. Not including making naked recruitment posters. Probably.

Currently designing a boss fight that's going to be real fun. You guys annihilating the White was kinda a wake-up call for me. So let's see how you deal with the first real story boss. Hint: You really shouldn't waste those animal totems. Might come in handy.
