Very random thing I just remembered.
Remember how the goddoun quest got started?
Nyl didn't ask the cards how to make Idoun a goddess.
She asked how to save Idoun's mom.

I guess that reading would be 'make Idoun a goddess and she can fix her mom herself?'

Bit of both. Fufill her plan and Iddy has the potential power to change things. But Iddy now also has the power to destroy her mom's body and grant her spirit peace.

Summary!

We learn Arlan backstory and some extra stuff:
-Builder civilisation before the first age, presided over by Skadi, somewhere between JRPG anachronistic clusterfuck and Wakanda technologically I think
-Azathoth, Tiamat and uhhhhh blanking on the third chaos baddie all still cause for much *Concern*
-Skadi decides to make Tiamat's destiny infertility because her and Xehanort, the one other Empyrean breeding would be the big sad
-Poor old 'Nort STILL managed to get saddled with a kid
-Note to self: Tell Arlan mommy sees him as the best accident of her life next time, HUGE OVERSIGHT
-Because he wasn't supposed to born, Arlan's birth caused a ripple in fate, he's the REAL only natural hero of time, literally all the others were made by him
-This has a severe adverse effect on the very integrity of fate
-He has seen and experienced every timeline, during the war between Gilgamesh and the mortal races and the dreggins
-Each one ends the same way, Skadi and he had an exchange about it wherein she chose to leave and abdicate her position to Aria
-Best leads for actually defeating him: Iddy being a HoT icon, Sephira being his daughter, whoever is the progeny of GIRUGAMESH
-Bast is a good kitty

After we leave the Grand Masters' chamber we greet the new acting head Master, (Qin?) and get thanked for helping save the temple. There were injuries but nothing severe, only Master Ko died. They ask if as one last act of help we can bring them food, water and other supplies from the Rover camp so that reconstruction goes smoothly. We oblige, and before we head out Sephira asks us if she can come with us once we leave. We accept.

Heading back down the Spineback mountains Iddy uses her goddess powers to make the first Priestess ghost go home. Can't fully exorcise. We go to the Rover camp and Raven has a conversation with Mark where he explains that fate curses Aasimar such as his daughter, the Crusader and the Priestess to shorter, more painful lives to reconcile their mortality with their power, hence his crusade against it. Raven is sympathetic and they come to some forgiveness as Mark expresses joy hearing that the students all lived, stating he regretted endangering them in particular. Aeva also judges that he's not gonna be stupid anymore. Meanwhile, Warin meets up with the scholar Mayvin again from the first time we met the Rovers, learns about Mayvin's organisation the Chroniclers, who have a base in Axis, and looks for some leads on Gilgamesh and Babylon. Then he tells Aeva that the Xehanort thing might be relevant to Val and suggests that they maybe find a way to contest him waving his dick around at the Metallic Court as he presumably was doing. Aeva brings up Talon, who might have a claim if 'Nort does.

We head back to the temple and get ambushed by the cult. They gloat about their plan while we're under a gravity spell. Bast gets super pissed at Lavos and goes Atalanta Alter. We're gonna fight 'em.

Oh right, Manu. That's who I was blanking on.

Oh I'm still gonna go ahead and ignore the new cult guy cause his name's spelling is a mystery to me, he's Gravityman, but I should add that they vaguely hinted at having the Black and Val under duress. Also Raven could get kidnapped again.

Also Arlan wants to pay Nyl a visit. Also Lex said we could go meet him somewhere. Also Larxene left too. And Gravityman. We're only fighting Lavos, Saix and Xemnas.

Also, Gravityman said we'd need to get a bigger time/space dick before we tried to fight them for reals.

Alsoalsoalso - I think we're at 3 - Nyl did give the party something. Something to use in case of emergencies.

Oh that reminds me, remember to use the charms we bought.

But maybe if one of the Heroes called Nyl who is not one of those and mentioned Arlan who is one of those just said he's coming to deal with her it could kind of... prevent a huge disaster? She has a plan to deal with each of the orgbois besides the new one, but not if they nothing personnel kid her. I mean I realize we're kinda busy ourselves, but- Oh, God, Selene has the talking stone. Oh, God, she sees Vampyboi. Oh, God, she has airbuds in, she can't hear us. Yeah, that thing's not getting used even if the whole rest of the party tries to get it from her.

...If Nyl can just reach Penth in time, if she can get her hands on the crown... She can remind Arlan that anyone touched by a hero of time - say, when he stole their sister - gets a drop of their power. Maybe not enough to be a hero, but maybe enough to piss one off. Maybe enough to doom the world, actually, I'm suddenly seeing how horribly wrong Nyl's anti-Arlan plan could go. Or how horribly right.

Why is Organization XIII in Schism?

I don't remember the Tiamat cult.
