Something worth noting. Having Fire Resistance by itself does nothing against lava. Both Nyl and Warin would still get melted if they tried to walk in lava.

Lava charms are probably a good idea, then. Flight we could pass up on, if Warin has 3 dex passes that should do us for anything flight does. Urien's not gonna be too bothered by natural obstacles I don't imagine.

Also, what do you think about getting the axe charms that do +30 damage against dragons? We know we've got one coming up but if we don't use them all we can reasonably expect more opportunities.

Over 37k gold, with 1k apiece for these things. I think 5 or 10 is a good number. We don't dip into the party gold for too much too often anyway. 30 extra damage per hit is pretty considerable.
Any more than 10 and "well Lavos will be pretty tough" will not be a good enough excuse for all our dragon friends.

I assumed Arlan would be sending assassins to Shadowport, but now that we know the PoS is against him... I'm imagining, like, Nyl walks past a market stall, some guy with a blowdart pops out of a pile of apples, and the merchant clubs him in the back of the head with a fish. Every so often, she thinks she hears the sound of someone smashing something with a guitar nearby. Yesterday she swears she saw it raining violins. ORCHESTRA OF BABYLON. Every time she rounds the corner, she has just missed some Spy vs. Spy BS and a pair of burly guys are pulling an unconscious cultist into an empty alley.

Crow, do you think maybe one lavawalk, one each skill success and 10 +30 damage vs. dragons is good for the final party purchase?

I have no idea what exactly is going to happen after SST. Dunno whether characters will get a chance to meet up or if Artemis is going to turn up or where in the Hell O'Malley is. So I don't expect the majority of this stuff to be done anytime soon. But I want a checklist so I can remember and also Neo usually likes having lots of warning about this kinda stuff.
The Juli Checklist _ Check in with Penny to see if the scepter raid went well/if she got a more specific location/start training demonic aspects ✓ Potion of Gaseous Form (1000G), Night Vision (check), maybe some others _ Ask Thalia about when she was being held there (also don't forget to talk to that tailor while in Axis) _ Talk to the Moonlight Greatsword about possible amygdala with the Speak to Items spell thingy (also maybe make that part of Nyl's usual kit?) _ Look for maps around Axis (or ask Rai?) _ Figure out how to even get there _ Lockpicking lessons from Seren/Aeva? And/or equipping the Knock cantrip _ Way to make Juli take a nap if necessary - sleep poison? Ask Seren? Probably too much HP for sleep spell _ Spells to think about bringing: Invisibility, Disguise, Hold Portal, Enthralling Whispers
_ Anything else people can think of

Crow, do you think maybe one lavawalk, one each skill success and 10 +30 damage vs. dragons is good for the final party purchase? Add an airwalk scroll and we're good. Yeah half the party can fly but 50% =/= 100%.

Sounds good to me, then. So that's:

Stormchaser Boots, 3000 gold.
Ogre King Gauntlets, 4000 gold
Sorcerer's Hat, 5000 gold
Mage's Walking Stick, 6000 gold
Cleric's Holy Implement, 7000 gold
Tempest Axe Charm x10, for a total of 17000 gold.

Note to self: Get an Eternal Guardian Charm for Aeva and... uh... mmm... I'll say Aeva felt bad about what she said about Nyl so she got her a Desert Dancer Charm but then Nyl paid her back. Yeah, that totally justifies her buying stuff.

Summary!
-Master Ko gathers everyone together and reaffirms he hasn't forgotten to tell us how to beat Arlan. He will try to get us a visit with the Grand Masters. -Tells us the Orc Thunder Legion's commander was spotted outside the next village, also Mark was spotted with them. Mark was formerly a master too. -Selene tells the whole party about how she worked with Mark under the Crusader. Mark seems to have abandoned the SST to alter the Crusader's fate somehow. (Maybe prevent is a better word.) -The party gets to the next village where Amatsu is raging and manage to calm her somewhat with the help of the elder, her apprentice and Warin assisting Raven. -We get through the path to Amatsu, find a treasure map and some loot at the end after scaring of some Rathaloses. ...Rathali? -Engage the Thunder Legion Commander, who we're about to fight with his army.

Other important info:
The White Raven was an Icon in an earlier age that was connected to SST. May be connected to the Crusader. Mark's daughter is Dana, the young Aasimar from the Rover camp who was possessed by Skadi. Dana's mother may or may not be the Crusader.
The party got some hints that Bast might not be as minor a goddess as she's let on.

The party got some hints that Bast might not be as minor a goddess as she's let on. Did... we? Right over my head. Summary! -Selene tells the whole party about how she worked with Mark under the Crusader. Mark seems to have abandoned the SST to alter the Crusader's fate somehow. (Maybe prevent is a better word.) In retrospect, as jealous as Nyl's going to be about missing out on all the adorable giant monster-animals and forbidden libraries and mixed bathing, it's a really good thing we didn't bring her along. "So... what are you again?" "I'm a witch." "And you use your magic... to..." "F*** around with Fate." "That's extremely dangerous, and such a thing should be reserved for-" "Yeah, yeah. Reserved for whenever Fate pisses me off. Got it."

Well... Yeah, but I assumed that was more related to whatever she used to do at the temple, not that she was actually not just a nature spirit but the harvest goddess dum-da-da-DAA

Bast has told the party she used to live around Shangri-la for a while and so she's really well known. But Master Ko probably wouldn't have been so hesitant to say no to her just for that reason. Bast also kinda dropped that she knows the Dark Gods at least somewhat intimately.
"Even the Dark Gods haven't seen under the Crusader's armor."

We know plenty of dark gods and their associates, though. If Raj said that I wouldn't think anything of it.
I forgot to ask, but Aeva's EYE BEAMS OF JUSTICE are pretty much saying 'yeah, no...' about the orcs, yeah?

Oh, right. Neo said discuss strategy. Um... stay back and drop every big AoE attack we have for the first round or two? We're in a canyon-y place, right? Maybe Levi could flood it, then Seren freeze it to screw up their charge?
