So why would Sophia's temperature be higher than Lugh and Rama's?

So why would Sophia's temperature be higher than Lugh and Rama's? Lugh would be around 80dF. Sophia around 90dF. Rama... Hm. Adolescent. High 80's. And for the same reason you'd lose 1v1.

Glurk, I didn't get a chance because things were so hectic, but you could've bought some extra stuff while you were in the drug store. I think Bill also went in, but Glurk's the one with the money. Asinate's a bit looser with their drug policies.
Adrenaline Injector (-10HP, +2 ACV/DCV; duration 3 rounds; action and TN9 Medicine to use in-combat (TN15 on Bill because of the armor); no effect on VCSEL, AltRena, or AltSophia) - 3 in stock, cost 800ea
Medigel (+20HP; out-of-combat only; no effect on VCSEL) - 3 in stock, cost 500ea
Stim Injector (+20EN; out-of-combat only; no effect on VCSEL) - 5 in stock, cost 300ea

I'll buy all of it, mainly because I still have like so much money.

Can anyone please officially summarize what happened with all this quadrant, Charlie, war ending, snake lady in space cantina stuff?

CHARLIE's sole mission has been searching for a planet meeting several criteria for millennia. The main 3 being: as far from quadrant 4 as feasible, not occupied/claimed/in a war zone, and containing a large amount of a rare mineral (isoflourene, the base of isoflourodyne) in the crust. He can't remember why due to data corruption - or intentional tampering, he can't tell - but he knows it was really, really important. You're his 214th crew. Even as an AI, his lifespan's running out.
The last planet you were on contained that rare mineral. But is threatened by the war. CHARLIE isn't sure he'll be able to find another promising planet, considering how few and far between they've been (and always something wrong). So he wants to try to end the war. Or find a way to make the planet impregnable. Or somehow ensure its neutrality. He has several ideas how to do it, and so do the party. You'll be debating them tomorrow night, I'm sure.
You stopped at a deep-space truck-stop-slash-bar to stock up on fuel and supplies. Since your ship's now about to be double-big-time wanted. Y'know, somewhere isolated that wouldn't have heard yet, preferably with a jammable comm system.
Regi seduced a snake lady and saved her from being hit on by a bunch of dudes. Pankraity made friends with said dudes and sang some bar songs. Bill gave Sophia and Rena some high-grade coffee. They'll never get to sleep tonight. Some kid (read: late teens) recognized Sophia, but not by that name. Was real glad to see she was alive and unhurt. Sophia didn't want to talk. Rena forcefully split them up. Bunny gave 3 innocent bar patrons seizures. The kid's boss showed up. Tried to have a reasonable conversation. Rena decked him in the face. Roll initiative.
Oh, and a news report and also the snake lady mentioned that the Cold War between Asinate and Probos has gone full-hot. And an entire Asinate planet mysteriously went dark after reporting an incoming Probos fleet. Which is fine, because CHARLIE's going to notify you that several Probos planets have done the same, minus the incoming fleet bit.

Rena didn't actually have any coffee. And caffeine probably wouldn't affect her like a normal person anyway.
Also, I'd like to point out that Lugh didn't just "show up and try to have a reasonable conversation like a casual bloke". No, he forcefully prevented one of our party from leaving and showed up with a bunch more really sketchy "guards". It doesn't take a psychic to figure out what that means. Why should Rena stand back and let him monologue and potentially scare Sophia or traumatize her worse or reveal stuff about herself she isn't quite ready to tell us? The outcome would have been the same anyway.
Also, Rena really, really didn't like the smug AF look on his face.

I'd try to put our group under some kind of duress if I wanted to have a conversation with them that could go more than 5 minutes without someone getting shot, stabbed, punched or blown up too tbqh.

"Hello there Sophia (i know he didnt say sophia, i forgot the other name bare with me) glad to see you're alright" *punch* "okay, r00d" *combat starts*

To be fair, I couldn't make him more obviously evil if I tried. And I did try.

To be fair, I couldn't make him more obviously evil if I tried. And I did try. Should've had them abusing a waiter for frivolous reasons. Or had them threaten someone for frivolous reasons. Or had them drink diet Pepsi.

Or had them drink diet Pepsi. There is a limit on actions which are even speakable and you, sir, have crossed it.

I commented on the Thin Men guys (the X-com tokens) being suspicious and how they'd probably be villains of some sort, and then you said they're just security guards and you couldn't find better tokens for them.
