With a horrible screeching noise, the machine spits out a metal plate just barely small enough to fit through the opening. As soon as you remove it, it dispenses another, then another. You pull plate after plate from the machine, the process continuing for hours, until a mountain of steel surrounds you. Finally, you pull out a plate and the grinding stops. A roll of blue-colored paper slides out instead. As you stare at the design on the plans, an avalanche of rivets begin to roll through the slot instead, followed closely by miles of copper wire, lamps, gears...
