I'm not quite ready to start OoD, but I decided to have a competition instead. The Last Light is be directly tied to Out of Darkness, but I'm not telling you how. You can guess all that you want, though.
It's a competition of sorts. You get a character, and get to take him/her into Wonderland and see how well you do.
There are three ways to win.
1. Live
2. Not die
3. Live the longest.
If you win the first way, your character will become part of Out of Darkness, as either a boss, or a recruitable character.
If you win the second way, your character will become a boss character in the OoD universe.
If you win the third way, your character will become a secret boss character in the OoD universe.
Theoretically, this should last about a month. You have until June 7, to beat the game. After that, You will essentially be competing for that third way to win. If I take a hiatus, I will extend the length by the amount of time I am unavailable.

(If someone wants to be funny and put a decimal, I will round)
The number determines your class/job. If you don't want to choose a name or gender until you know your class, fair enough. Just say so. I will design the levels so that everyone has a chance to survive. If you somehow end up with a party of clerics, you will not be encountering hordes of enemies.

A few* final things to remember.
I really want everyone to win.
That being said, if someone blocks a hammer with their face, The hammer will break their face.
I am impartial, and generally merciless, but I'm not unfair. If you want to contest your death, and give a convincing argument as to why you are not dead, I will happily not let you die.
I will keep in mind that the characters are made by you guys and will respect them appropriately.
I do have lines I won't cross. That doesn't mean I won't imply that I will cross them.
If you try to threaten me with my boundaries (if you happen to know them), or use them to keep yourself alive it will not end well for you.
Example scenario:
bob the assassin uses the random pregnant woman he found nearby as a human shield so the archer won't fire at him.
Exams response:
The pregnant lady was actually a monster and bites bob's head off.
It is in your best interest to keep your competitors alive so you don't die an early death.
It is also in your best interest to let them die so you can win.
*and by that I mean whatever comes to mind.
