Os is right. I feel stupid now, and I'm a bible student.

Congratulations! We have a winner! The correct answer is indeed David. The new score is Duskritter 1, Golurk 1, and Os 1. I would update but... The storm of the century is currently passing through my city. ..... Hopefully, my city doesn't end up like the rest of it's victims: wiped off the face of the map.

These storms have been pretty bad. Luckily we've only had one tornado here, and it wasn't too bad compared to most of them. However, people in Alabama and Mississippi have had it bad.

I'm calling it now. Five way tie. If that happens, I will simply create more Riddles, until there is a legitimate winner.

You know what time it is... That's right folks, it's game time! Watch it guys, the riddles are getting tougher now...
Riddle #4
Oft I must strive with wind and wave, Battle them both when under the sea I feel out the bottom, a foreign land. In lying still I am strong in the strife; If I fail in that they are stronger than I, And wrenching me loose, soon put me to rout. They wish to capture what I must keep. I can master them both if my grip holds out, If the rocks bring succor and lend support, Strength in the struggle. Ask me my name!

I didn't even see this till Os answered it.
If he's wrong, I guess Barnacle. However, it's most likely a pearl-producing oyster, as not all oysters can create pearls. Also, pearls are essentially oyster vomit.

Both of you are wrong.

It must be a ray, stargazer, or flounder. The 'under the sea' part makes me think it's a flounder, although some of the other clues fit the others better.

Actually it could be some sort of waterfowl, like a seagull or pelican. It could be a sailboat in a stretch. It could also be a sea star.

But a boat or ship wouldn't be supported by rocks, they would destroy it.

But a boat or ship wouldn't be supported by rocks, they would destroy it. True, but stone docks and anchors were often used back in the day. Plus, the anchors attach to rocks to stop the ship in place.

It's an anchor. Damn you Os for stealing my answer! *shakes fist* If that was your answer, then you can have it. It didn't seem like it by your wording. I won't steal it.

There's a chance it might be wrong still. (I doubt it), but it isn't over yet.
