Digi, if you want help with a hero deck, I'm totally willing to help put one together. The only thing stopping me from making one myself is that the archetype is "yours". Also I get the feeling you all hate me and my fluffy friends now.

I just feel like The moment I take something out I'll need it for the next duel. I'm good on hero decks. I just need to trim My EHEROES one. My other decks are typically smaller. Well, I for one won't lie. I absolutely despise your deck, HD, and I want to roast your fluffy friends alive and eat them.

Which is honestly a downgrade from sabre tiger now that I think of it. It's ok Neo, I would rather open hatred than simmering resentment. I should start thinking of a new archetype to get into....hello ghostricks!

Send forth the hordes; the Noble Knights shall slay them! Unless they're fluffies or Judgement Dragons.

You're so mean to me, Emppy.
You only win because of luck, and then you don't give me a rematch. -_-
But seriously though. Again, this only proves my point about my Lightsworn deck. It's not broken. It has counters. And it's prone to bad luck like any normal deck.
So, can we all at least agree my deck isn't broken so I can use it? Because it's obvious no one is going to let me use my Gandora deck in the tournament, which means it's either Lightsworns or Blackwings. My Blackwings are so incredibly outclassed at this point that it's kinda funny, and I really shouldn't have to struggle with coming up with a new deck idea when my Lightsworns deck obviously isn't broken...

Because I had to leave, Neo.
I'm back though, so we can rematch now.

Judgement Dragon is fair, people! All you have to do is put one-per-deck Limited cards in your deck, hope you draw them and don't get negated/destroyed by other cards, get past all the other monsters in the deck not being pushovers, and overall just retool your entire deck to counter one specific monster.
Nekroz, which can be totally wrecked by cards like Mistake, Debunk, any card with anti-special summoning effects, anti-spell cards, most of the same cards that can stop JD, and potentially taken advantage of by Shared Ride? Nah, ban that nonsense!

But all those same anti-special summoning cards work on JD! What do you mean just limited cards? There are dozens, if not more, cards that can negate JD!
If you don't have any traps or spells in your deck to counter special summoned monsters, or negate effect monsters, than you're simply using the wrong deck against the wrong opponent! That's just part of the game! My deck doesn't guarantee victory or anything like that, and I've already lost multiple times!

By that logic, lolNekroz shouldn't be banned either because, like JD, theere are dozens of cards - possibly moreso than JD - that counter it, and if you don't have them, then you're simply using the wrong deck against the wrong opponent.
The only difficulty in getting JD out is getting it in your hand; it's special summoning requirements are barely a hurdle with how the structure of a Lightsworn deck enables you to mill half your deck by your third turn, and your opponent fighting back against the Lightsworn you do summon (who are, while not broken, far stronger than you make them out to be) merely gives you exactly what you want (whether by allowing more milling or just the simple act of being sent to the graveyard). If you get JD out, your LPs are higher than whatever number of 3000 ATK Direct Attacks JD would need to bring your opponent's LP to 0 times 1000 (ignoring any cards you may have that stops that minor downside), and your opponent doesn't get any cards to destroy the (again, 3000 ATK) monster that can be performed immediately without minimal setup (so that the field-nuke doesn't stop it, which basically rules out traps), then it's an auto-win. It's "drawback" of milling 4 cards each of your end phase is exactly what your deck's strategy revolves around, and you can easily set traps, spells, and additional monsters with effects AfTER the screen-nuke effect to possibly stop your opponent's already severely limited options if they DO manage to have a potential counter in mind. And even if one IS able to negate the field-nuke effect, JD's very formidable stats, coupled by whatever added defenses you pull off, will ensure that getting rid of it will still be difficult without very particular setups in a point of the game where either player might not hold any more than four cards in their hands.
Lightsworn as a general rule of thumb is powerful, but not overly so. Bring JD into the equation, however, and suddenly you have something that can only be stopped by luck and prayer.

It's ok Neo. Your Lightsworns can play with EoF's Nekroz and my Fluffals in the shadow realm.

Fluffals has most of the same counters as JD and doesn't immediately wipe the field.
