So my other CYOA here over here is dead. I just couldn't find a way to continue it tbh. So I figured creating something more unique would be alot better.

The year is 2100. The last century of Human civilization has practically destroyed the earth. Humanity has plagued the earth with war and genetic experimentation. Nuclear war has decimated the planet, humanity has struggled to survive and the remains of the human race have now been forced into three separate cities, each clinging unto the false hope the earth will survive.
To the North, of the last remaining island on earth, the city of Agora lies there. The city clings to the remains of human technology and to avoid possible war and oppression, the remaining citizens are under surveillance by the strict government officials led by the mysterious "Sister-San". Any use of the once innovative technology that shaped the world such as camera's or computers are now used to monitor the citizens of Agora. Every man is expected to enlist into the military reserves in case any of the neighboring cities declare war. Agora has a terrible economy, Because the lack of natural resources swiped from the years of war have kept it on the edge.
To the South, is Salencia. This city, built by those who have oppressed the Nuclear wars is the exact opposite of Agora. Salencia does not have a formal government and allows all of it's citizens to do as they please with no real punishment. Because of this, crime is rampant in the alleys, but trading and the morale of the people is strong. Salencia lacks a proper economy because of this. Many of the citizens are extremely divided amongst each other over their beliefs or character. Salencia also does not have an official military but many citizens have rise to the challenge by attempting to set up their own military.
Finally, in between Salencia and Agora is the ruined city of Moxen. Moxen is filled to the brim with crime and is the deadliest city. Moxen was built by the scientists and war criminals to continue nuclear research on humans. However after a few years, the research and experiments soon began to cease, leaving a ruined and chaotic city in it's path. The citizens, were all test subjects or children of test subjects who possess superhuman abilities. But the overuse of strength can easily kill one. The city has a strong military and are run by the higher ranking nobles who control the trade and industry of the city, however the amount of jobs make the economy thrive, but the citizens are in extreme poverty due to the city's enviorment being unsustainable for crops or animals, and must live off of what they get from neighboring cities.

You are Charon, an 18-year old boy. You lived in Agora peacefully as Sister-san's child. You live with your siblings, Diana, Burgh, Jonas, and Montag. The day of your birthday passes, every 18-year old in Agora is assigned a job in society, they must do forever. You are tasked with being the Reciever of Memory. You don't know what the job is but your family tells you the job will allow you to see unspeakable things. You enter training with the current reciever of Memory known only as "The Giver"
However, instead he mysteriously transports you to the city of Salencia. You soon find out you were raised here. You encounter your supposed older brother named Ralph and younger sister Peggy. You discover you were raised into a large trading company in Salencia led by an Intelligent Ape named Julius.
You meet your other siblings, Simone and Jacky but the city of Moxen attacks a trading post nearby and you are taken from Salencia into Moxen's capital. You wake up to meet more people claiming to be your family. The governor of Moxen known as Ayn claims to be your real mother, while four others named Prometheus, Dagny, Colene, and James all claim to be your real siblings.
Ayn tells you the truth of your birth, you were born into the Moxen political family.
But at a very young age, you were kidnapped by Salencian bandits. And somehow afterwords, you were taken by Agora and brainwashed into believing you've lived there your whole life.
Unable to stand the truth you leave the capital unsure how to handle the fact that you have three families across three cities.
The Giver suddenly reappears. You ask him why was it necessary to show you all of this. The Giver answers, that the truth is important, and soon the world will need you more then ever. Suddenly, a large explosion occurs near you, hundreds of buildings collapse near you, you see bits of debris coming toward you, suddenly you black out...
Chapter 1: The Reciever's Choice
You wake up, you see nothing. But you hear loud voices and the sound of gunfire on the other side. You also hear some familiar voices.
"Agora, what the hell thinks you can attack us like this?" Prometheus asks.
"This had nothing to do with us." Diana answers, "You moxens are just alike, blaming others for your ignorance. We've come to change that, Moxen will belong to Agora!"
"Not so fast..." Ralph runs in, "Both Moxen and Agora are nothing but beasts. The more pointless fighting, the more lives we lose."
"So it was you Salencia who attacked our capital?" Prometheus states, "Your city is nothing but a nest of hornets, with no mercy or dignity."
"As if!" Ralph states, "I'm here to reclaim my brother."
You realize a mound of rubble is blocking your field of view. You push it and see countless soldiers from all three cities around you,
Diana, Ralph, and Prometheus are all staring at you.
"Charon?" Diana smiles, "Thank god you're alive!"
"Don't even speak to that Agoran scum." Ralph demands, "They were the ones who kidnapped you after all!"
"What on earth?" Diana wonders, "My brother has been with me for as long as I can remember!"
"That's just the Brainwashing." Ralph declares, "Charon has been my brother forever, until you took him from us!"
"Nonsense." Prometheus chimes in, "Charon belongs to Moxen! He was ours until you Salencian thieves stole him that night!"
"Charon..." Ralph says, "I knew you wern't my real brother, but would we really kidnap you? Julius told me he found you on the street!"
"That's the truth." Prometheus sighs, "Charon has Moxen blood, and he always be a Moxen!"
"Even so..." Ralph stands, "Charon was raised in Salencia, so he will always be one!"
"Oh please." Diana states, "Charon has been with us and we know he belongs in Agora!"
Suddenly, people from the crowd of soldiers run in, you see your famlies from all three cities coming in.
"I don't believe it!" Montag runs in, "Charon my god you're alive."
"You have some impressive luck." Burgh says slowly clanking in in his suit.
"I always knew you were alive!" Jonas runs in to greet you."
Don't listen to them!
Your Salencian siblings dash in.
"They're not your family." Simone cries out
"That's right." Jacky steps in, "We're your family!"
"So return to us!" Peggy pleads.
"That so-called family kidnapped you!" James and your other Moxen siblings return.
"Please have some sense..." Colene pleads, "Be with your true family!
"We are your family!" Dagny asks, "Please return to us!"
"Come on, over here!" Prometheus begs for you to join Moxen.
"Please, it's what mother would want." Diana calls you to return to Agora.
"Salencia is your home...." Ralph holds out his hand to you, "Come with us!"
All your siblings stare at you in anticipation...
What will you decide?
A) Side with Diana and reform the totalitarian city of Agora
B) Side with Ralph and unite the anarchic city of Salencia
C) Side with Prometheus and defend the crumbling city of Moxen
This is running alongside another version of this on Gamefaqs. Gamefaqs chose Moxen. I'd prefer for the Verse to choose a different side then on Gfaqs. This might end up as the only place where I update this since the Gamefaqs doesn't get a lot of votes.
This choice, similar to Fire Emblem: IF heavily affects the story and choices, so be careful.
