White, black, or brown would be my opinion, GX.  Fen-Fen, the "special artifact" in game only existed for gameplay reasons. And the Royal Bands were removed in RD anyway, in favor of a teachable skill, which is more accurate. All Laguz can potentially stay in their respective animal form indefinitely, but they risk losing their human half if they do. It's not because staying in that form tires them. However, Laguz can learn to stay in their animal forms. It's just extremely difficult, takes a very long time, and the exact method of doing so is kept secret by the Royals. Ashunera blood helps, but isn't necessary. So, the royals have the blood of Ashunera, correct? |

Don't forget that if a Laguz calls a beorc a human, that it's an insult. Laguz are weird like that. Sub-human is the insult beorcs use against Laguz.
Basically, Laguz call humans beorcs, but the word human to them is supposed to be an insult when they talk to humans. Let that sink in.

So is Solgen a rarity in that all laguz species live together? And I'm still not clear on what "laguz" is. Is it an identity shared by all non-humans? Is the difference between a manakete and taguel and kitty like the difference between a white, black, and latino human?
So if they're not as smart or innovative as humans, is the entire kingdom stagnating technologically compared to other human civilizations in the world? If only humans can use magic, is there any sort of magic study in the kingdom? What about the human rebellion? How does your average laguz treat your average human and vice versa?
...should I bother asking these questions?

CDM, I should have that special class up sometime tonight in a PM. But I'm a little stuck on what skills I should give it. I'm not familiar with what skills Laguz normally have. Is it better if I PM you what I had in mind for it?

Guys, help me calm down. I'm actually so excited for this that I'm being annoying and asking a bunch of questions, and not only that, but I'm trying to think of good names for not only my two characters, but the entire royal family. And I also have to come up with a name for the queendom... And... And I'm just so excited that this is actually a thing, and a whole lot of people are joining... And just, just holy hell I can't stop shaking with excitement.

So, the royals have the blood of Ashunera, correct? Kinda. It's a bit difficult to explain. Basically, in the canon, the Royal Families are the oldest known Laguz and Laguz families. All of the Royal Families are direct descendants of the founders of their respective nations, and Deghinsea is even the same Dragon who founded his nation. Their blood is a lot purer than other Laguz, and they have retained most of their original powers as a result. |
