Using Radiant Dawn stats, let's all post the actual stats of our characters. Just for the lulz. For Laguz, you can just show Laguz form stats. Caderyn(Current) Lv 18 Black Dragon HP: 70 Str: 40 Mag: 20 Skill: 30 Spd: 25 Luck: 28 Def: 38 Res: 30 Avoid 78 ATK 55 Caderyn(Final) Lv 40 Black Dragon HP: 100 Str: 53 Mag: 30 Skill: 38 Spd: 32 Luck: 40 Def: 52 Res: 46 Avoid 114 ATK 88 If you've played RD before, you'll recognize old Caderyn has almost the exact same stats as Dheginsea. Also, since I guess he's technically my character now, behold the King of Red Lions. Bastian Lv 40 Lion King HP: 120 Str: 50 Mag: 10 Skill: 46 Spd: 38 Luck: 30 Def: 44 Res: 35 Avoid 116 ATK 72

Speaking of the king of red lions, I mentioned I was grabbing one of the 4 generals (the white dragon) for the intro. Still need the king's advisor (heron) and the other 3 generals (beorc, hawk, wolf).

But the Heron advisor will work too. Do you have any ideas already in mind for the Heron advisor and the other Generals?

She's going to be a doddering old grandmotherly woman, old enough to know the legends are more than just legend.
I had no plans yet for the others. But the heron would also work. Or the wolf, probably.

I think I'll ask GX if she wants to help me create the others then. She's a miracle worker at pulling awesome characters out of thin air. Also, since Caderyn is basically the Black Knight, I really wanna have him be able to use swords in human form, and give him a sword named "Alondite"... And then his dragon form would be a surprise that he wouldn't reveal until much later... But something tells me that might be a bit too OP. Just a bit.

Seeing as he's basically only touchable in human form, let's go ahead and NOT give him the strongest sword.

Seeing as he's basically only touchable in human form, let's go ahead and NOT give him the strongest sword. But does that mean he can use normal swords?

.... Really? I was just joking. I didn't expect you to say yes. But hell, a yes is a yes. I'll take it. This means I can have him save his Dragon form for later, which is really, really nice, because it's what I originally wanted to do, but couldn't get around the whole "not being able to fight at all" thing. But now I can just have him stroll into battle with his snazzy armor and a Silver Sword. Presto, Black Knight. I don't have to actually worry about stat differences between human and Laguz form, do I? The stats are just for show, to illustrate what the class specializes in... Right? Cause he kinda can't be the BK if everyone and their Granny can OHKO him in human form.

Anyway, so I'm pretty sure my character will be using either lances or bows in human form. I'm leaning towards bows because he'd really remind me of the best archer in a video game, Canopus, a unit that could fly and is generally your best unit in TO:LUCT from beginning to Postgame, even.
Really, Canbro is God-tier. So yes, my character will be using bows to fly and snipe things. I will not hear any objections from anyone.

I think I'll ask GX if she wants to help me create the others then. She's a miracle worker at pulling awesome characters out of thin air. You flatter me, but that's really not so much the case. Nonetheless, I would be happy to help. As usual, you work on concepts and I'll pick out names.

The only stats you need to worry about, Mr. Taguel, are... Um... Yeah, don't worry about stats.

Or you could play one of the games via ROMs. Isn't this a Wii title? I don't think my computer could run even a Gamecube emulator. It struggled enough on PS1.

NES, SNES, GBA, DS, 3DS, Gamecube, Wii. Plenty to choose from. Because laguz, you'd be best playing Path of Radiant Dawn, but any would give you an idea how the series goes. Sacred Stones is probably the easiest starting point, besides Awakening. Blazing Sword or Binding Blade are also good choices.

I played Awakening...the fact that I never looked at stats should speak enough to my immersion.
Sacred stones was gba right? Playing it on my phone should be easy enough.

Neo, your Avoid stats seem to be off.
We should avoid derivative stats like avoid and attack anyways.
