So, since I can't get back to sleep, and we're almost finished with the Chimera VS Aboleth clash... I think it's time for some Sidequests!
Neo presents... Fairy Tail Origins: Sidequest Creation
Sidequests are, obviously, Guild missions, also called jobs. While they offer money and sometimes artifacts as rewards, the main point of these missions is to show how our characters interact with each other, and to allow us to explore the world of Earthland to our heart's content. But on my own, I can't possibly create everything. So that's where this comes in! Using the template I'm about to provide, you can create your own sidequests down to the last detail; the type of mission, client, rewards, setting, backstory(If any), plot relevance(If any), special restrictions, and more.
There are two types of missions: Normal, and Special. Special Missions are Sidequests that are plot relevant, or are restricted to certain characters. Special Missions require a bit more than a simple template. If you have an idea for a Special Mission, please be sure to PM the people whose characters you want to involve.
There are four "categories" of jobs: Slaying, Retrieval, Protection, and Other. Slaying is self explanatory; slaying monsters, bandits, etc. Retrieval is finding an item or artifact in some nasty dungeon somewhere and bringing it back to the client. Protection is escorting, guarding, and protecting. Escorting means escorting a person or persons from Pont A to Point B, usually through very dangerous territory or terrain. Guarding is serving as a Bodyguard for an important person while that person goes about their daily life. Ex- guarding a Princess who received a death threat. Usually very boring, but very lucrative. And lastly, Protecting means protecting an item or establishment. Sometimes, jobs can fall into multiple categories and subcategories. For example, the Scepter of Aeolis job fell into the main category of Protection, and the subcategories of Escorting and Protecting. The main category of "Other" is used to categorize any job that does not fall into the previous categories.
All "job flyers" will be posted here for easy access, so make sure to leave them as spoiler free as possible.
IMPORTANT!!!!!
For the purposes of Sidequest Creation, this topic represents the Guild Hall itself. The Sidequest template I am going to give you represents the job flyers in-story. As soon as you post a sidequest here, it is immediately available in the RP. Special Missions that have a Timeline Restriction are the only exception. As such, if you don't want to do a certain Sidequest for a while, don't post it until you do.
Now, for the template.
Job Title:

Main Category(Slaying, Retrieval, Protection, or Other):
Subcategory(If any):

Job Location:

Guild(Which Guild this flyer is sent to):

Job Background(Optional):
Remember, normal missions are open to everyone. You cannot restrict characters from going on a normal job. However, if the job is S-Rank, then at least one S-Class Wizard must go on the mission, regardless if it's a Special Mission or not. For example, I can't have Orion and Eden go on a S-Class job to a romantic getaway by themselves. Either Velia, Jurian, or Raiden would have to accompany them. In order to take on a SS Rank Job or a 10 year Job, all the Wizards going on that mission must be at least S-Class. 100 Year Jobs are on a completely different level. Only Elite, Master, and X-Class Wizards are allowed to accept those jobs, but S-Class Wizards can be granted special permission under certain circumstances. If you want to create a 100 Year Job, then you'll need to PM me your idea in full detail.
I think that's everything. So, without further ado...
