After boarding a train to Ambrosia, Hecate took a seat opposite of Atticus. Beside them in their respective seats, Nalia and Jerrid were humming tunes and singing along. Hecate was uncomfortable with the two, even if Atticus had assured her they were good people. She looked out the window, musing to herself how this would go over.
In times like this, Velia's words came back to haunt her. She found herself unable to find the definition of her existence beyond the same words she had told Velia a few days ago. Why she fought, that was for the people that allowed her to stay in Alicorn Wing. Hecate rubbed the scar on her collarbone.
She remembered that day clearly. It was such a long time ago, but the scar remained fresh in her mind, and the causes of it along with the knife meant to take her life...as a sacrifice. The mere thought made her uncomfortable, and she turned further to the window, hoping to banish such thoughts.
One day she would come to terms with her past, but not now. Things had to be settled before she could face the old demons. For a moment when she looked at her hands, she saw them stained with blood, and thought she heard screams.
"-cate." Atticus' voice brought her back to reality. She looked up to see all three of her guildmates staring at her strangely, and her hands almost covering her face as they shook.
"I'm fine." She lied smoothly. Yes, fine indeed. ------- Aldous sighed. "No, we're fine. But it could take days to find the right town in this land. Thank you for your help."

"Okay. I'll try to talk with him in a place where you can stand nearby, out of sight, but still within earshot. That way you'll know what's going on," Eden said.

Orion nodded, clearly relieved. "Good. Thank you, Eden. That makes me feel a lot better."
He sits up next to her and smiles. "When would you feel comfortable speaking with him, Eden? Sooner rather than later might be better... But we still have some time before we get to the dangerous part of our mission. I don't want you to do anything you aren't ready for..."

Eden stood up and looked toward the door, as if staring at something beyond it only she could see. "I think it would be best to get this out of the way now."

Orion nodded once more, and rose to his feet. He walked over and placed a comforting arm around Eden's shoulders. "... Alright. Don't worry, I won't be far. You won't be alone."

Senna hesitated for a moment, then nodded her approval. "That's fine, just... Try not to be too obvious about it. Gen- I mean, Master Zalia is an extremely formidable Wizard, and she can read people better than most Telepaths. It's not that I don't trust her, she might even understand and be willing to help... But I just can't risk it. With Master Jurian gone, Zalia is the only Wizard here capable of forcibly stopping me. And this... Is something I have to do."
She starts towards the door, then suddenly halts and turns back to Gareth. "Meet me at the bus station near the hill when you're ready. I'll be wearing a long brown cloak and plain clothes. And... Call me Nia."

A few mintues after her talk with Orion, Eden was standing in front of Grigori's door. She knocked, and waited for a response, knowing the Orion must have already found a place to stand that was within earshot.

"Eden?" Grigori whimpered loudly enough for her to hear him. "Is that you? Can you, p-please come here? I-I just need to talk... Please don't go away..."
Muffled sobbing could be heard as Grigori covered his face in his hands once more.

Eden slowly opened the door and stepped into the room, deliberately leaving the door open behind her. "Grigori? I came here because I knew you've needed to speak with me, and I thought we should do that now."

Grigori looked up at Eden and his face that was clearly stricken with unadulterated sorrow was twinged with a bit of hope.
"Th-Thank you." He smiled weakly. "Can you p-please sit next to me? I'm-I'm scared..."

Rosa was just staring into space unsure of what was going on.

Aldous noticed her expression. "We're discussing the possible whereabouts of where the knife was made."

"It's a date," answered Gareth as he turned to leave the clinic.
-----
After returning back to the guild and briefly letting Zalia know that he delivered the package, Gareth gathered his gear, which consisted of the items and weapons he usually carried to battle, about 125 Sovereigns, and the three vials of Anomaly antitoxin. Before he left, he hastily scribbled a note on his desk.
A matter of great personal importance has arisen. Can't say much else, but don't worry. Will return soon even if it takes a few days. Sorry for leaving in such a hurry and without much warning.
-Gareth
Gareth opened the door to his room, looked around to see that no one else was around, he taped the note to the door and closed it. Figuring he didn't really have anything in his room to keep private, he left the door unlocked as he opened the window and jumped out. He pulled his hood over his head and pulled his bandana up to act as a facemask as he headed toward the bus station to search for 'Nia'.

She nodded, then sat down on the edge of the bed, close to Grigori but not too close for her own comfort.
"What did you need to tell me, Grigori?"

"Everything..." Grigori muttered as her curled up into a ball again.

"I don't know..." Grigori tightened his muscles. "Do you know what happened to Siren Scale?"

"No, I really don't know. Over the years I tended to flee whenever I heard the name even, so I was never around to hear anything," Eden admitted.

"Eden, they're dead..." Grigori rocked a little bit as he spoke. "I-I killed them. I killed all of them. The guildmaster, the workers, even the slaves. I did it. It's my fault..."

"Oh okay, well it didn't seem like anyone there knew anything of note," Rosa said. "Even though someone new it was a knife of low quality right?," Rosa said. "Other then that is there anything else we need to know?" Rosa asked
