I have a question.
When are you introducing Kolskeggr so I can watch his failures over and over again?

I got a question too. When is the Emerald Weapon quest selectable?

Yikes, all these sudden questions. Couldn't you ask them on the Discussion Board, where you're supposed to?
Fine, fine. So pushy. Kolskeggr will be introduced when we reach the hidden Laguz Village in the story. That could be soon, or in Book 3, depending on your choices. I'm not saying any more cause spoilers. You will unlock the Emerald Weapon quest after the fight with Arachne, but the current Sidequests must be completed first before you can actually do it.
The current active quests are The Mystery of Windbrook, A Ligertastic Problem, The Wastelands of Time, and Thunderbird 1.

(Continued)
"Are you trying to bring the entire ceiling down upon us?!" Lazzy scolds you in disbelief, as you unleash another wave of dark magic at the nearest Golem. The massive explosion sends the construct flying backwards, crashing into the far wall. But the damn thing still gets up.
"You have any better ideas?!" You shout back. "Last time I checked Lazzy, our physical attacks weren't doing jack!"
All twelve Golems regroup now, forming a moving shield-a shield that's probably impregnable- and begin to steadily advance towards you. Great. Not only can the damn machines learn and adapt, they've apparently decided you're the most dangerous threat. Just flapping great. Wait a moment... If you can generate enough power... You could probably take them all out at once!
"Hey Lazzy! I have an idea! But I need you to buy me some time!"
Your longtime friend gives a gruff nod, and motions for Dol to join him. Between Lazzy and Dol's sudden charge, and Kara flinging lightning bolts from afar, you figure you have just enough time to hatch your crazy plan. You just hope it works. Either you're about to save the day, or send everyone on a one way trip to the great beyond.
"Hey Dhaos, I could use some help right about now."
The reply is instant. "Of course, little one. What do you need?"
"You've been with me my whole life, right? So you would know if I really am this Diamond Weapon, or whatever. Could you help me focus those powers?"
This time, the reply is not so instantaneous. "... I can try."
Well, that's good enough you suppose. You close your eyes, concentrating on those emotions that caused your powers to manifest before. Anger, sorrow, hatred... You imagine Jeckel, Belial, Charon, even your parents... And nothing happens. Finally, when you're about to give up on this hairbrained idea, you hear a loud grunt, followed by a curse. You open your eyes just in time to see Lazzy take the brunt of a colossal beam of energy, a blast made from all the Golems attacking in unison. A blast meant for you, one that you wouldn't have been able to dodge in time. Your eyes widen in shock and you cry out, as the immense blast sends Lazzy flying through the wall, into the room beyond. The wall crumbles around him, where he lies unmoving.
"LAZZY!!!!"
In your fear, your fear of losing him, your power surfaces. Unbeknownst to you, your body begins to glow a fierce gold, a second before an immense shockwave explodes outward from you in all directions. The sheer force of the shockwave should have reduced the entire area to rubble. But almost as soon as the shockwave expands, it begins to condense. You can feel Dhaos helping you, you can feel his power all around you. Your mind clears, and you take control of the power, if only momentarily. You will the shockwave to target the Golems only, and sure enough, it obeys. All twelve of the Golems are incinerated, reduced to dust, in a matter of seconds. The power fades as quickly as it came, leaving you drained, but you hardly notice. You waste little time rushing to his side.
However, by the time you get there, Lazzy is already rising to his feet. "What the hell were you thinking?!" You chastise tearfully, gently pounding his chest with your fist.
He tightens his arms around you, softly consoling you. "Shh, Kitten. I'm fine. Next time just don't close your eyes in the middle of a battle, alright?"
You sniff and nuzzle his chest. You couldn't care less where you were.
"Uh... Lazareth? Have you taken a look at the room you've stumbled into?" Dol asks hesitantly.
"No... Why?"
You step out of Lazzy's arms and look around, at the same time Lazzy does. You feel your eyes widen. All around you, as far as your eyes can see, is a giant chamber covered in spider webs. And... "Are those... Eggs?" You ask.
Lazzy nods grimly. "It would seem we found your spider, Kara."

(Continued)
"It isn't my spider," Kara says quickly, looking around nervously. "That thing would eat me just as soon as you."
Somehow you doubt a spider could eat a ghost, even a supernatural, genetically modified spider. Even if said ghost is somewhat more corporeal now. But that's not what's really bothering you... "Uh... Dol? I thought you said Arachne's lair was farther back?"
"It... It was?" He replies, sounding just as confused as you. "Maybe she moved?"
Great... Just how long ago did Dol say he was here? Before you can articulate your thoughts, something drops from the ceiling, landing just a couple feet in front of you. What in the world...? Is that... Saliva?
Kara gulps beside you, and frantically taps your shoulder. "Um... Leah? Maybe you should um... Look up?"
You do as she says, suddenly afraid to do so, and your eyes widen in shock and fear. "SCATTER!!!" Lazzy screams, as the giant spider looses a massive stream of poison gas from it's mouth.
You throw yourself on the ground, narrowly avoiding the deadly stream, and roll gracefully to your feet. Without pausing or missing a beat, you unleash two consecutive blasts of energy from your sword. Both hit the spider dead on, and it screams, a shriek so horrifying you clutch your ears. You look around for your companions, and thankfully everyone dodged in time. The plot of ground where you were standing before is now a giant, steaming crater. You gulp. If you had been caught in that, not even your legendary armor would have saved you...
"Hey Leah!" Lazzy shouts suddenly, as he tries to get close enough to strike with his axe. "You got a plan?! We're kinda at a disadvantage right now!"
"Who appointed me as strategist?!" You complain, though you know it's to no avail.
"You always seem to be the best at it!" He responds. "I'm just good for smashing heads and roasting marshmallows!"
You resist the urge to roll your eyes. The giant spider shuffles around on the ceiling, making a terrible noise, obviously waiting to see what it's prey does next. You hurriedly turn your eyes away, and once again, you notice the bottomless pit. Wait a moment... You remember something Lazzy said earlier, and a plan begins to form in your mind. A crazy plan, but at least it's something.
If I can lure the thing closer, maybe by angering it, then I can hit it with a blast from Naglfar, and make it fall into it's own crater. This actually might work!
You frantically scan the room, and your eyes settle on the numerous eggs against the far wall. Perfect. If you start destroying those, then that should anger Arachne plenty. Once she scuttles over and attacks with her poison breath, you'll dodge and attack with Naglfar, causing her to fall into her own hole. Brilliant, if you do say so yourself.
.... But it's still risky. Maybe a head on attack, or a distraction ploy, might be better... What to do, what to do...
A: Go with your original plan, and try to trick Arachne into falling into one of her own traps. B: Try a head on assault instead. C: Have one party member distract Arachne by attacking her eggs(Choose who), while the other three focus on hit and run tactics.
-------- Arachne HP: 190/200 Spider Eggs HP: 20 --------
Also, anyone who's familiar with Greek Mythology should be able to figure this out easily.

Holy smokes is that thing more powerful than the elder dragon itself?!! Have you seen the stats of our characters? This thing really isn't that powerful. You read the other topics right? Eldritch, Charon, Ganon etc... All were more powerful than Arachne. The only reason Arachne poses a threat at all, is because of her ability to constantly poison, and because you don't have the whole army here. If you had all your OP dragons, Arachne wouldn't last two turns.

I vote C. But if possible I'd rather have Lazzy set the chamber ablaze, spider silk and by extension spiders are very flamable. If not have just go after the eggs while everyone else focuses on hit and run. (Poor unborn spiderlings)

If not have just go after the eggs while everyone else focuses on hit and run. (Poor unborn spiderlings) Maybe I wasn't entirely clear in my description. The entire chamber is covered in very flammable spider silk. If Lazzy were to unleash his flames here, that would not only set Arachne ablaze, but also Leah, Dol, AND Kara. And the chamber would most likely collapse, sending everyone plummeting to their deaths. And your plan might not even kill Arachne in the first place. Remember how I said a while ago I would only deter my voters if their vote was obviously going to kill a character? Yeah. I am officially outright deterring you. Your plan is an automatic Game Over. Edit: Just to be clear, only the pyromaniac thing is an auto Game Over. Normal C is perfectly fine.

But couldn't everyone fall back into the room they just came from right before the fire storm, or did Arachnee block the path.

By the way I don't think the pit trap will work. IRL spiders that hunt actively always leave a silk safety tether behind them just in case they fall. Somehow I doubt a giant super spider would forget this trick.

And that's why you cut the tether.

But couldn't everyone fall back into the room they just came from right before the fire storm, or did Arachnee block the path. Hmm... That's true. I didn't think of that. Alright, that would work. If you want to go with that Custom Strat, I'll allow it. Just let me run some quick RNG calculations. Also, I never said the pit trap would work flawlessly.
