A world of natural wonder and beauty...
A land of untold secrets and vast kingdoms...
A land... Of Dragons.
They rule the oceans and dominate the skies.
They own the forests and claim the mountains.
They strike from the heavens without warning or care.
But what of their stories?
What of their lives?
Are they beasts? Gods? Or something else?
What if they love and want and need as we humans do?
Can we humans coexist with these mighty creatures?

Across the Central Plains...
A Fire Dragon swoops down from the clear blue sky, without warning or provocation. It's gaping maw opens wide, unleashing a wave of flame over the farmland below. Farmers and sheep alike scatter in every direction, hurling insults and arrows at the pesky beast. The fire dragon's talons latch onto a cluster of sheep, who stare blankly at the ground below them, calmly munching on clumps of grass as they're carried away.
A young boy and his sister from a nearby Nomad Encampment dash through the Central Plains, running alongside a heard of gazelle. The pair come across a giant hill, towering high out of the ground. It is a hill they have not seen before. Curious, the boy approaches the hill despite his sister's warning. A massive yellow eye blinks open, and the hill rises out of the earth, shaking grass and dirt off its scaly hide. The siblings watch in awe as the sleepy Earth Dragon stumbles back towards the distant mountains, herded by hordes of gazelle.
Throughout the thundering skies...
Dark clouds loom overhead, crackling with electricity, and a mother bear nuzzles her cubs into the safety of her den. High above, two mighty serpents clash, one enveloped in an aura of lightning and the other a swirling hurricane. The serpents coil around each other, snapping and clawing, as they rocket higher and higher into the atmosphere. The Lightning Dragon throws his opponent off, and the Sky Dragon unleashes a dazzling beam of energy, blasting the serpent into a stray cloud, and right into a hidden island in the sky. The roar of another dragon echoes across the heavens, and an awe inspiring solar flare lights the sky. The disturbed Sun Dragon descends, latching onto the Lightning Dragon and tackling it out of the sky. The Lightning Dragon throws his rider off, and retaliates with a stream of crackling energy, sending it sprawling into the Sky Dragon. The Sky Dragon instinctively latches onto the Sun Dragon's neck, but a wave of purple light envelopes the Sun Dragon, healing his wounds, as his mate comes to his rescue. The Moon Dragon blasts the Sky Dragon off of her mate, sending him spiraling towards the ground far below, but the Sky Dragon quickly recovers. With a barely perceptible nod, the Sky and Lightning dragons call a truce, and the four dragons square off high above the earth.
Over the stormy seas...
A proud sailing ship bucks and dips against the giant swells of a Spring storm, her crew frantically trying to save themselves from a watery fate. The main mast breaks and the hull splinters. The battle appears to be lost, and the men pray for aid. Then, a haunting cry sounds through the storm, and one of the sailors fearfully points overboard. Long, slender shadows appear in the dark water, and a pod of beautiful Water Dragons breach the surface. They swim to the ship's aid and guide it safely through the storm, back towards land. As the damaged ship passes through the rough waters, a ray of sunlight seeps through the dark clouds, illuminating a nearby mountain, rising out of the sea.
An unknown black dragon with resplendent rainbow wings cries from the mountaintop, and its cry is echoed by each Water Dragon, forming a splendid symphony.
In the dense jungle...
An aging hunter and his young son hack their way through the thick foliage, their foreheads gleaming with sweat. As the hunter slashes through yet another wall of vines, they come across a stream of crystal clear water. The young boy rushes forward, thrilled and happy and carefree. The experienced hunter turns around, eyes narrowing. He could have sworn he saw something move just then... It was probably just his imagination. He sheathes his machete and joins his son for a drink.
Deep beneath the earth...
An group of weary, gum-chewing miners delicately excavate a vein of Silver Ore with their worn pickaxes. One decides to take a break, and he wanders away towards their base camp, slinging his pickaxe over his shoulder and wiping his forehead with a grimy cloth from his belt. On the way, his eyes catch a faint sparkle in the rock, and he decides to investigate. He takes a few swings with his pickaxe, finds a new vein, and calls his friends over. They set to work, and within an hour, they've collapsed the wall and inadvertently found a sealed passage beyond. The miners bicker among themselves for a bit, debating the merits of safety protocols, before they finally decide to venture down into the depths. The miners stumble upon an old coal mine, and before long, they're fleeing back the way they came, with a very large and grumpy dragon close behind.
And deep beneath the great Tundra...
A young woman from a small hunting village ventures out into the tundra, seeking a rare herb for her sickly grandfather. She pulls her fur coat tight against the cold, and tries her best to ignore the chattering of her teeth. She finds the herb seated on a high cliff, grits her teeth, and begins to climb. She can barely feel her frozen hands underneath her wool mittens, and just as she's in arms reach of the flower, she loses her grip and falls back. The woman screams and closes her eyes, but her fall is suddenly broken, and she hears her precious coat rip and tear. She hesitantly opens her eyes, and finds herself dangling a couple feet above the ground, in the mouth of an infamous tundra predator known as a Bird Raptor. Before the Raptor can make a meal of her however, the cliff suddenly explodes in a hail of ice and rubble. A crystal-like dragon bursts forth, and the woman is thrown from the Raptor's mouth, landing roughly in the snow, but otherwise unharmed. The much larger dragon clashes briefly with the Raptor, and she hastily stands up, her legs too shaky to run. The flower she came for drifts lazily to her feet.
... These dragons live and thrive. But how do they live? What are their secrets? We know so little about them... Tell me, my friend, if you could be any dragon you wish... What would you be? Would you be a benevolent dragon? A dragon that swims the oceans, or roams the mountains? If you could have just a taste of true freedom, if you could see through their eyes... What would you give? I myself would gladly give anything...
But this isn't about me. Tell me friend, I'm curious. What kind of dragon would you be?
