I'm probably going to have Alto either open a portal to Nivian after Alucard calls her, or maybe have her do it in her sleep.

To compensate for your boring, previously used power, I'm going to go a different route.
Paint. My character will have Paint powers.
EDIT: No burritos. However, you can grab a burrito and light it on fire.
Also, what kind of pyrokinesis? Will it be smoke like Delsin, Napalm like Nyx, plain fire, lava?

Maybe something more restrictive but still fairly common like radio waves? In that case, your character would have to absorb them from antennae, because they take in radio waves. They would be a conduit (hehe) for absorption. |

Brain waves are just bio-electric signals. You can manipulate them to a (very small) extent with electrokinesis (knocking people out, draining the life from a weakened enemy, etc.)
However, absorbing sound in the form of radio waves would be balanced. However, it would have to be from a radio transmitter, receiver, or antenna. That way, it's not super overpowered, and it would make more sense as to why it would take a tangible form (You could smack someone in the face with a guitar made of condensed radio waves).
