It's also part of the same reason why I hate St. Patrick's Day and the Easter Bunny.
St. Valentine preached brotherly love, as in non-romantic love. According to scripture, our current idea of love isn't close to what it's supposed to be. Love is surrendering yourself to another person as an example of how you should to God. It's supposed to be perfect contentment and obedience, working in harmony with the other. It's also protecting others but punishing them when necessary.
Anyways, it was a holiday created by companies to make money that is based around something it has literally no connection to. Plus, I hate wishy-washy romance.

I find this song reflects some of Arcturus' and Pearl's relationship.: www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3X_ZpL_HxcFact: The delivery on "If I can't have you right now, I'll wait then" always makes it sounds like "If I can't have you right now, I'll rape you" to me.

You wouldn't know. You're too clean to get on my level, so put that in your pipe and smoke it, then pass said pipe so I can smoke it.

Hey guys, if I was in Japan, I could tell you Happy Valentines Day.
Too bad I hate Valentine's Day. However, the way the Japanese celebrate it intrigues me.

SMEX, I've noticed that you've been popping up but not actually posting. Is it writer's block?

No I'm at school and I have a test in like 10 minutes, so I was listening to music to relax. Sort of just left the tab open.

Just in case anybody wasn't sure...
Yeah, Azur is probably f***ing his statue.
Anyway, I just need to post Hamon's progress in Cleatian and his new gear, then he'll be in Shaldra. We'll say the day after Arcturus and company went to Nivian Lake. What sort of roadblocks will he face from Titus' profound daughtercon rage?
Edit: Wait, I missed the feminism discussion!? Well... That's probably for the best. I'd just crap on everyone's day by listing the numerous, and often overlooked hardships society throws on men. : P Well, suffice it to say that my view of things is that men and women have received similar (although near impossible to quantify) unfair expectations in a society that was developed by the traditions and needs of ancient tribal societies, and neither males nor females are "at fault." I respect the goals of feminism, but don't buy into things like Patriarchy theory and I could probably write a dissertation on all the ills the movement has caused.

Also Elia will be gone for a while so, good luck Shaldra, that is until *shot by assassin*
And I knew he was giving her a hard wood attachment.

It took me like half the time I wrote that post to figure out what to call Belinus' home town. Lugdunum is the name of a Celtic speaking Roman town in what would be (at least near) modern day Switzerland, which was the specific criteria I had been looking for. Because Belinus is based on a Gaulish deity, and because multilingualism is supposed to be common where he's from (much like modern Switzerland) it's a good fit.
Just to give an idea of how I put more work into little details than the actual quality of the overall post. >_>

More effort than I put into anything. That's probably certainly not true. I never studied people's speeches to wrote for my characters. Or went back re-readind CYOAs to do a poll. I mean hell, what I described in my last post is as much effort as I ever put into anything in school.

School? I failed high school english on multiple occasions because the teachers couldn't get me to write more than a single sentence for any given essay. They eventually got me to write them by banning me from the library. That's right, I spent so much time reading and drawing in there they found it counter intuitive to my education *cough*meaningless copy and paste garbage*cough*. But enough about my life, there were too many inconsistency with Pearl's broken speech, which makes the ancient language questionable in efficiency and accuracy. Now while I could probably rectify this with those being more accurate translation than literal ones, it would still leave me in the position of the ancient language being incomplete, which might be somewhat accurate because they didn't need words for things they didn't know exist/understand. Going back and reading was my pleasure, but I never actually posted them because I thought they were terrible. See I'm a special case were neither encouragement or punishment motivate me to act. I usually only go through with things when my emotions are on overdrive and I stop berating myself with ego stroking and self loathing and paranoia and so on so forth.

I've failed English and it's my first language. Similar problems with motivation, too (not to mention organization.) I hung out in the art room. Except when I was kicked out, or smoking dope in the woods out back with the wigger and skateboarder kids. Good times... One teacher actually thought I had violent tendencies because I was drawing swords in class. Not like, a sword fight or blood coated swords, just some stylized swords. He threatened to suspend me if I didn't throw it out. Damn prudish North Americans.

For drawing a weapon? That kind of s*** is why I find some teachers insufferable. And some relatives. Now granted my teachers thought I would develop violent tendencies because they weren't entirely sure how an eight year old should respond to witnessing mental diseases first hand, and I used to be the speak only when spoken to type, so just to mess with them I hugged their legs (it was a solid plan in my underdeveloped mind).
And almost two years later I'm still rebelling against the system. By doing absolutely nothing but clean, take that productivity in progressing society as a whole.
