The Realm of Austur Discussion Topic 2: Chatting Mad

Because I'm going for "concealable" rifle-esque firearms that would still look somewhat primitive compared to modern weaponry and I didn't think you would know the history and inner machinations of an obsolete weapon like that.

Right now people are just doing whatever they want. We're not too terribly far from kicking off the main plot, but I'm doing most of the work towards bringing everyone together. I'll have to have a reason to bring Talia into that picture, but I have plenty of time to work that in, and it's as simple as having Talia either meet my character or Neo's character, or alternatively just being in the company of another PC when everyone comes together for a huge meeting.

So little worldbuilding has been done, you probably know just about everything. However, most people are actually somewhere in the general vicinity of where the borders of Cleatia, Alibab, and some tiny mountain countries that are unofficially part of the Jorkun Pact all meet.

Vincent and Elia are in one of the mountain kingdoms, but they're in Gorgath, an ancient and lost city that people can only enter if they know the language of the dwarves and the password. So you won't be running into them while they're at Gorgath. They are going to be taking a trip to Shiryu for various reasons in the fairly near future. Irving and Arcturus are somewhere in Alibab, heading in opposite directions, but which directions those are I'm not sure. Fen-Fen and X's characters are in the middle of their own arc, so I don't know if it would even be possible to met uo with them right now. Cheese hasn't posted in this topic and SMEX hasn't revealed specific locations of his characters since the last timeskip at the end of the first topic.

So yeah. You can start asking around to see who's characters you can interact with, or do something on your own. Whatever suits you. I know Golurk needs something for Arcturus to do.

Unfortunately, I've been busy with creating plots and endings for SoE, so I haven't had the time to characterize the Black King or give him an appearance yet. That's why I'm taking so long to do things. Currently tied up. I'll see if I can do something in my free time.
