I POSTED!
Writer block destroyed me halfway through though. I apologize for the quality of that post. My mind ran blank...

Hey Emppy, remind me how Irving knows of Gorgath again? The only people who know Gorgath even exists are Vincent, Alucard, Nivian, Silver, Rhea, Tafl, and Eya. It is a very obscure myth, known only to scholars and Dwarves.

So does Baron, Catie, Sam, and Fennekins characters Serlen and that chick he was with unless we forgot about the location as soon as we left.

So, that post really hit me in the feels. I'm actually quite proud of it. And I'm seriously considering writing a novel, detailing Vincent's background in full. The novel will tell the story of his life from birth until the fall of Gogath. Originally-And I will be the first to admit this- Vincent wasn't my best character. He was certainly no Trail or Leah or Jeckel; He was just a placeholder. Even his name was originally subject to change. At the time, I wasn't even certain I was going to stick with Austur.
But now, I'm glad I did. His character has evolved so much, that now, I think he has more depth than almost any of my other characters. So let me ask you this: Is this something you would be interested in reading?
This will be the Verse's very first full length novel, and it will be a long one. From what I'm thinking right now, it won't be anything less than 200 pages.

It could have been a defense mech. to make sure anyone but you and Silver didn't know about the location. But yeah just wanted to make aure Then again who would have Irving have a better chance of getting the location from. Baron as Vincents number 2 student (already know who his number 1 student is ) it would have to be something that could force me to betray Vincent by giving him the location and I assume it can't be like how I found it by accident.

So I think I can have my post be like this. Part one Mary (Baron's mom) and Baron finish talking about how she met Barons dad. And part 2 begins with Baron getting his back to the old house finding an important object and go from there.

Irving doesn't get the location though. And even if he had it, it would be impossible for him to enter. It's impossible for anyone to enter actually, except for Vincent and Silver. I thought the run in with Irving was just gonna happen on the road somewhere.
Speaking of which Emppy, are we still doing that?

Dammit X, I've editted it out a long time ago! It was just my attempt to sloppily show where Irving's location was (since GX's description of "a village near [this place that he shouldn't know about]" makes sense in PMs, but turned out to be difficult to write in narrative).

You tell me, mister "It's an old road, built by the dwarves in ages past. No one uses it, not even merchants; few know how to navigate it safely anymore".

Oh well, I wasn't talking about that road specifically... Just in general. We don't even have to have them meet right now. I assume Irving's Radiant Quest for the Companions is in Elia's village, yes? If so, then our characters are going opposite ways anyway. Besides, it's not like Irving is the kind of character who would allow common sense or self preservation get in the way, if it meant missing a good shortcut. At least I don't think he is.

It's going to be hard to do much of anything in Elia's village, unless you need to get ashes for something.

He's socially stunted, barely has anything resembling a formal education, and only starts to lack self preservation when he's probably already in deep s*** and gets crazed; don't mean he'll take the dangerous route, at least not without a mark behind it.

So does Baron, Catie, Sam, and Fennekins characters Serlen and that chick he was with unless we forgot about the location as soon as we left. That chick? You make her sound like a random bed warmer, you... You! Argh, I'll get you for that remark... I think I'll have Cecile throw Ragnell at your neck! And no, Serlen doesn't. Weren't they blindfolded when Silver took them to Gorgath? Anyway, I think I'm going to have BL!Serlen and SoE!Serlen merge. Either that , or replace him in the story with SoE!Serlen. I don't consider BL canon anymore, and it isn't really accurate now, so I'll just replace him with my favorite redhead Serlen, SoE!Serlen. Just thought I would change that. Alyrun has no become a ceremonial weapon at his hip for other reasons. Migh as well give him a lance now too. I forgot her name my Fennekin friend.

They weren't blindfolded, Fen-Fen, and Vincent didn't mess with anyone's memories. Also, I forgot the name of Serlen's woman in this/that priestess girl too...
