Mist held her left hand out. The actual mist that masked the lake, not the illusion, was drawn in around her wrist. She softly spoke, "Cry, Valkyrie." The mist went in like a tornado and shot pearl to the opposite side of the rings, several other Nymphs were also pushed around. She cringed as her back felt the impact surge. Mist took the opportunity to appear before Pearl with a dark blue elongated steel blade sharp enough to slice through two humans. As she went for a swing, Pearl stood up her lance and delivered a spinning kick to Mist's abdomen. Mist was slightly taken back as Pearl did a slide underneath her, being flexible enough to slide down that low, and kick Mist onto the pole. Pearl did a back flip up to the top as she slid down to kick her again. Mist disappeared and reappeared above Pearl with a deadly stab going down. Pearl used her foot to reposition herself on the pole as to avoid the attack. They maintained balance as they exchanged dodges and intricate attacks up and down the pole.
Wha-Wha was the one beaming with pride now, "She's using Devil's Dance Floor! I taught her that one." She nudged Arcturus who was next to her.

"I'm sure you did." Arcturus sighed as he turned his gaze down from Pearl's clearly pseudo-sexual display.
Wha-Wha, what the hell is wrong with you?

"You feel too loudly~!" Wha-Wha teased. "At least she won't be a rookie when things connect."
Mist finally found a hole in her defense, slicing the pole in half as Pearl narrowly dodged with another flip. She caught the top half and went for a slice across her arm. Mist vanished as did her blade. She appeared in front of Pearl and judo threw her to her standing blade. Pearl managed not to get cut by doing a handstand and shifting her weight so as not to fall through. Mist took her blade and vanished again, causing Pearl to fall flat on her face. Mist sent her blade in pieces from all directions to slice Pearl in a small gust. Pearl struggled to maintain balance as she continued to deflect the pieces of Valkyrie. The tiring sensation of fighting metal eventually brought Pearl down as the gust pushed her back onto the wall. Desperate to escape Mist's deadly blade and tired from slashing nothing, she charged a calm Mist. Mist made her blade come to her hand and slashed at Pearl. Pearl in one last burst of energy ducked under and cut across Mist's arm, the blood spattering on her own. A small cut was on Pearl's cheek as she fell to her knees exhausted. The firefly started to glow as blood ran through it. The yellow light caused the three floating rings to fall down on one another and a small beam of light hit Pearl on the back causing her to glow in turn.

Of course Wha-Wha was the one who taught Pearl how to swing on a pole. Of course.
Elia wasn't sure if she was getting used to how strange things were, or if she just couldn't take all the strangeness anymore and was starting to block some of it out, because she was slowly becoming less uncomfortable. But she was still far from actually being comfortable with it all.
Even though there are so many people here, I actually feel pretty lonely. Up until now, I've at least been able to talk to Jet, but everyone is focused on Pearl, and rightfully so. I wish Jacob or someone was here to help me feel at least a little less lonely and out of place...

Wha-Wha's senses kicked in as she ran up behind Elia. She hugged her around the waist and whispered in her ear, "You must be so lonely, I'm here if you want to do anything at all. I can make things feel way better for you around here~"

Elia could feel Wha-Wha pulling her in close as the nymph hugged her around her waist and whispered into her ear. Elia immediately started trying to pull away, and she turned to face Wha-Wha as she did.
"No, I- I'm fine."
Her grip is too strong, I can't get out of her arms!
Elia then started to pry Wha-Wha's hands apart, but she wasn't strong enough. The most she was able to do was move Wha-Wha's hands a little, which only resulted in her arms being wrapped more around Elia's hips than anything.
They're too close to certain areas, and now she's holding on tighter than before. I can't move her arms or hands at all!

"Are you surrreee~? I'm gentle-" Wha-Wha was interrupted by a speeding object that tackled her off Elia. Jet tumbled with Wha-Wha for a while before she ended up holding Wha-Wha in an upside down position locking her arms in place. "Sorry about that." Jet told her. In the background Love, Layla, and Sunshine held up signs with scores that read 8, 10, and 7. Jet continued talking to Elia, "We try to keep her under control, but- wait a second... That was clearly at least an 8 Sunshine! What's up with that score!?" Wha-Wha spoke with a bit of ecstasy in he voice, "I think I came..."

Elia was very grateful for Jet's intervention, and she stood up and dusted herself off before shuddering.
I feel like I need to take another bath...

Jet still holding Wha-Wha despite the clear pleasure she got from it, turned to Elia, "Not too shaken up are you? I can understand if you feel a little dirty." She then glared at Sunshine, who stated, "I don't think you stuck the landing."

Elia just shook her head, as she continued to shudder.

Jet sighed as she let Wha-Wha go onto the grass. "You're body's telling me otherwise. You sure there's nothing I can do to help?"
Wha-Wha sat looking up at the stars. She gave Elia a wink as she leaned down onto Jet's belly and stared at her chest.

"Nope." Wha-Wha said with a flat tone as Pearl and Rhea hugged in the middle of the field. "This just takes her to the first step. Literally. Once she learns how to walk on water, she'll be closer to mother and the true source of her power. Maybe you should go congratulate her before I do. I bet the firefly made her soft skin softer."

Arcturus approached the hugging Pearl and Rhea before allowing them to part before embracing Pearl himself.
"Well, now you just have your third trial, then you can do your dance with your mother, Nivian."

"The dance takes a bit more prep." Said Rhea as she stood up and turned in the opposite direction of the lake, "Come you two, We must begin Pearl." Rhea then gave a subtle nod to Mist who gave a subtle nod to Jet who just shrugged. Rhea was now already out of sight with Pearl and Arcturus. Mist used Valkyrie to transport everyone in the immediate vicinity except Jet and Elia back to the castle. Jet got up and offered Elia her hand, "Shall we then?"

"The others would prefer not to see Pearl begin to freeze, so they'd rather help prepare for tomorrow. Which gives us the option of going back to the castle, or following Rhea, which would you prefer?"

"Pearl, so it's time for you to walk on water." Arcturus smiled lightly at his wife as they approached the frozen lake. "I love you, now go get 'em!"
He kissed her quickly on the lips before placing his hand on her back an giving her a slight push to start her off.

Pearl was surprised by the sudden push, but found herself managing to stay on her feet, for about half a second. She fell into the frigid water as her eyes expanded and she jumped out into Arcturus' arms, "C-c-c-c-c-c-c-c-cold!!!!" Rhea pat Pearl on the back, "It will be over soon."

"Rhea, could you show a demonstration?" Arcturus asked Rhea as he began to freeze from Pearl's wet clothes. "For me of course, I would like to try something."
