"You need a name Arcturus? It's Jet, I'm one of Pearl's sisters, but that's not important right now. There should be a creek on the outskirts of town near some wheat farm. It shouldn't be too far away, but be weary of her clinging. She might try to have you Jam something inside her and then give her a Pearl necklace if you catch my drift."
"Jam not want water now." She grabs his cloak and pulls herself into his arms. "Jam want master." With a hiccup she follows up, "Or Jam want more wine."

"Hey, Pearl." Arcturus gave a fake smile as he looked down at the nymph in his arms. "I want you in your human form."
That way she won't attract as much attention. Anyways, it's on the outskirts of town, right? Why there? I know and have portals to plenty of springs, one of which I still need to have a picnic with Pearl near.

"Because if you screw this up and turn water into wine, it's less noticeable in some small creek no one will ever see then a spring that travelers might need. But if you're confident enough, take her there on a picnic. Sure makes a convincing story to get her to follow compliantly. Just hurry up with it."
One transformation later, she guides his hands up the outline of her dress. With a giggle she ask, "So what does Master want to do with Jam?"

"You know, we should have a picnic back at the Pond of Ilias like I promised." Arcturus lifted Pearl back up so she was upright again and went to grab the sweetrolls and bread she purchased earlier. "Just the two of us, okay?"
I really hope I don't do something I'll regret, and I really hope that I don't screw it up and cause you to try and murder me in my sleep.

"Only Jam and Master... Jam so excited!" She leaps up on his back, still with a heavy blush and light smile. "Jam can't wait have master all to self." She now waits for the portal.
"Don't worry so much about me. I'm here to clean up the mess before someone who'd really make it hurt gets wind of it. All I can say is prepare to get uncomfortable."

"Here we go!" Arcturus cheered with only somewhat fake enthusiasm as he opened up a portal on the wall and ran through it, carrying Pearl on his back.
He managed to stop just before hitting the edge of the pond and set Pearl down next to him, giving her a look of great care.
What did you mean by uncomfortable?

"Good, you made it. As for what I meant, well this is gonna sound wrong, I need you to get her naked. Any sort of fabric would interfere with the cleanse. She needs to be in the water for five to six seconds, then get her out. Any longer and the pond will start turning into what she drank. Longer than ten it goes back in her. After that put her down by the shade. If all goes well she'll be calm and her regular self. Good luck!"
Pearl leans her head on his shoulder and begins eating one of the loafs. She gazes at the small pond getting slightly warmer with the passing seconds. "Jam like stay here with Master. View so pretty."

"Ahh, If master... then that mean..." Hastily pulling down the zipper, she pulls the dress off along with the gloves and heels. Ending it by shifting into water. She was now colored a translucent purple. Sitting by the pond, she was the exact image of a blushing bride. Minus the clothes. Still looking at him longingly, she said, "Jam no longer feel funny. Feel right when with Master."

"Pearl, follow me." Arcturus spoke as he walked into the pond, removing his cloak before the water was up to his waist. "I have a surprise for you~."
She's so beautiful. I just wish that I could tell her.

"Yes master." She walks up next to him and wraps her arms around him. As soon as she does the water begins spiraling waves around her. A gyser burst forth and encases her, lifting her above the water. It isn't impenetrable. For five seconds it sustains her like that. When the water settles back to normal, she begins falling but is no longer any color other than her normal aqua blue.
"Catch her before she goes back in!"

"Gotcha." Arcturus smiled lightly as he caught Pearl in a bridal position and slowly walked back out of the water before setting her down and lying down next to her. "Are you feeling better?"
It seems that it worked. Thank you, Jet. Know who is this other person you're saving me from? Is it this Rhea that Pearl has mentioned?

"Uhh... What Jam do master? Memory hazy after drink wine." She rolls onto him, resting her woozy head on his chest. "Why we back at pond?"
"Well she's the most dangerous Lioness, but there are others that would freak out if they knew. Pearl is our youngest and Rhea raised her like her own daughter. You don't even want to know what Alucard went through after sending her off with you. Take good care of her, ya hear? And no more alcohol."

How old is Pearl anyways? I'm only 15, well, technically 17, but that's another story. Personal temporal manipulation can screw you up sometimes. Anyways, she's mentioned something called a 'tail ritual' several times and has only given a few details. What is it, exactly?
"I thought we could have our picnic." Arcturus said as he curled around her so his head was right next to her abdomen. "And don't worry, you didn't miss much. Just don't drink wine again. It's not that good for nymphs.
What would've happened if I didn't expunge the wine from her?

"I don't drink either." Graecius admitted as he tilted his glass towards Elia. "This is grape juice. It was given to you, me, Hestus, and that other guy, but we ran out, so we gave wine to the other girl. Anyways, the bar I was talking about was a milk bar. The bartender is really sweet, and there's also a fantastic quartet that performs there."

"Okay." Graecius smiled as he cracked his neck. "Mother, could you pass the caviar?"
The dish of eggs slid down the table and in front of Graecius as he grabbed a piece of bread and put a slice of peppered sausage on. He then sprinkled the caviar on the creation before breaking it apart and handing a piece to Elia.
"You should try it." he told her as his mother gave him an odd look. "Go on."

When she sits up, she places his head on her lap and looks into his eyes. "Jam not want wine anymore. Make feel sick."
"Don't you know it's rude to ask a lady's age? But if you insist on knowing, she's 510 years old in your terms. That ritual is our most sacred rite. She's of age to preform the water dance, and that's all I'm sayin'. As for what would of happened, much like you humans can get poisoned by enough alcohol, so can us nymphs. The difference is in the amount it takes and some of the effects. She might have been bedridden for years to come had you not cleansed her. Now take the goodbye properly this time!"

I guess I might as well try something new.
Elia took the part offered to her by Graecius, and took a bite. She personally thought the caviar was odd and somewhat slimy, but it could have been worse.
"I'm not quite sure how I feel about caviar. I suppose it will take some getting used to."
