"Well if I had my normal Bow instead of this weird Bow thing then maybe I could,". "The Ax would just bring me straight into her trap, the custom hand Ax is just too slow, this just leaves,". "Wish mama Rosalina told me how to use a Bow with no arrows or even a string,". "Sigh make a reminder to kick Ann's behind after this,". "Well here goes nothing," Sophie thought Ashley she drew the Fuji Yumi.

Sophie was unsure what to do and tried just reaching for the empty space where the string would be. As soon she did a string of pure light formed and an arrow of light was set ready to be launched. Sophie was caught off guard though and released too quickly as the arrow sailed over Syrups head hitting a passing seagull (RIP generic seagull).

"What was that?" Sophie asked completely comfused.

"That couldn't be the Fuji Yumi, like the Fuji Yumi weilded by that Prince from ancient times," Ann said. "Sophie that Bow was a sacred weapon weilded by the prince from the Hoshino kingdom," Ann called out. "As you just saw you can weild it without any arrows, and the arrows are made of pure light," Anna told her.

Unfortunately, Syrup had enough time to retrieve the two grenades she had in one of her side pouches. "My my your certainly an interesting cutie, first with the whole disappearing act and now these arrows of light," Syrup said to Sophie. "Yet your not the only one who has a bag of tricks up your sleeves," Syrup said as she tossed two circular like objects towards Sophie.

Sophie was much more comfortable with the Fuji Yumi and easily shot down the two grenades coming towards her. Yet, Syrup let out a small grin towards Sophie. "Thank you birdie, this should certainly liven up the battle," Syrup said. Sophie was unsure why Syrup was so thankful until she noticed smoke pouring out of the grenades.

"Oh no not good," Sophie said as she tried to fly away from the smoke. Yet as she was trying to fly away, something struck her in the wing and she crashed onto the deck.

"Come now Cutie let's play a game of hide and seek," Syrup called out. "Just know this is know everything about the ship, so good luck don't keep me waiting Pretty bird," Syrup called out.

The duel area is covered in a pretty dense smoke, you can see a few feet in either direction but you can't really see much your friends and Syrups crew are pretty hard to make out. You know she's somewhere on the deck but you don't really know where. Good news is she isn't too sure of your general location either. The only reason she got a hit before because of knowing where your location was and the flapping of your wings. Your one wing is a little sore but nothing that could hinder your movement bug you can tell it's certainly uncomfortable.

What will you do?

Current state:
Thick smoke: vision is heavily impared
Syrup: slightly bruised and breathing slightly heavy
Sophie: sore right wing but still highly functional and a couple of scrapes.

Let's go with the wing flap.

Altough if Syrup is breathing slightly heavy we should be able to hear her...

I feel like attacking or being on the defensive will result in Syrup fulfilling whatever she's planning.

So why not go full Starlord and just randomly start dancing, striking when she opens herself up because she's distabilised?

"I have no idea how a landlubber like you learned such a battle style but it's certainly interesting birdy," Syrup said to Sophie. "Hey you layabouts release the prisioners," Syrup called to her crew. The crewsmen proceed to cut the ropes which were binding Sophie's friend. Ann rushed towards Sophie and tackled her to the ground. Sophie let out a screech because she was still sore from the enocounter.

The Pichu band's boat was being pushed out to sea as the duel came to an end. For a brief second the boat passed by May and the badge in Chip's pocket began to glow blightly. "Mama," Chip said but before he could do anything the ship was pushed out to sea.

"Weird did someone just say Mama?" May wondered.

"Mama Jo, I Yoshi you so much, had me in Yoshi with other Yoshi, and the Yoshi you made Yoshi got all Yoshi," Yoshiwott said nuzzling herself against Joanna.

"That's fine baby, I am just glad your safe," Joanna said embracing Yoshiwott.

Rambo having been placed in a seperate crate made his way to DK and licked him. DK patted him on the back and it seem like he was telling him more or less it's going to be fine.

"Mama.....Prince......missed....you," Price Luma said as he floated towards Rosalina.

"Your okay now dear," Rosalina said as she hugged Prince Luma.

"Hey has anyone seen Mystic or Floofy?" Sophie asked.

Mystic casusally strolled from below deck with Floofy in her arms and let out a yawn. "Ahhhh yes that was a nice nap, have to say those floors were nice and Floofy," Mystic said she nuzzled Floofy.

"You were sleeping the entire time?" Sophie asked. "Also how did you untie yourself?" Sophie asked Mystic

"Oh that, mere ropes can not hold down a fortune teller of my powers and skills," Mystic said in a mysterouis tone. Floofy let out a couple of annoyed baa's towards Floofy. Mystic held up Floofy and just glared (or what looked like a glare) at the naughty Floofy.

"Oh Sophie don't scare me like that again, I thought I thought I could have lost you," Ann sobbed.

"We wouldn't have been in this mess if you just decided to wait until morning," Sophie said to Ann

"Aww all wells that ends well right, besides we are about to get to the city of diamonds....," Ann was saying before Syrup interupted her.

"Tommorrow morning lass," Syrup daid to Ann and Sophie.

Everyone on the ship just began glaring at Ann and Sophie looked like she wanted to strangle her.

"What do you mean tommrrow morning?" Ann asked.

"Ay Diamond City be a long journey from Toad Town,". "Their ships be made for speed, this old gal be built for sailing," Syrup told Ann.

Sophie began mumbling to herself and almost sounded like she was saying she was going to kill Ann.

"Ummm Sophie allow me to make it up to you and Syrup," Ann said as she used her healing staff completely healing Sophie and Syrup. "We are all good right?" Ann pleaded.

"So how should we decide who gets dibs on her first?" Sophie asked Syrup.

"Hmm Rock, Papers, Scissors matey?" Syrup asked.

"We could do that or we could just simply tie her up and dangle her over the water," Sophie said.

"Aye the Boss Basses love fresh bait," Syrup said as Ann simply backed away very slowly.

"Umm I think, I have to be somewheres, umm bye honey I will see you later," Ann said as she took off towards Rosalina.

"Certaintly an intereting birdy... landlubber for sure," Syrup told Sophie. "Alright you slackers, time to get off your rumps, we got a feast to prepare for tonight," Syrup called out to her crew. "Sophie you and your crew got free range, of the ship got, a small little shop and armory, not much of a selection but ehh it's better then nothing," Syrup told Sophie a matter of factly. "Oh actually I lied Sophie you'll be joining me in my quarters, for a bit of a chat," Syrup told Sophie with a mischeiovus grin.

"Why Syrup, when a captain invites you to her personal quarters, it would be rude to turn her down," Sophie replied with an a grin of her own.

"But, but, but, but your engaged to me," Ann protested. "Your suppose to be a faithful woman," Ann called out while behind Rosalina.

"Oh faithful woman I be," Sophie waved off as her and syrup went into Syrup's quarter.

"Mama Rosalina, do something," Ann asked Rosalina.

"Prince Luma what was that you wanna see the ocean son," Rosalina said.

"Yes....can....Grandma......Peach....and....Starlow....join us?" Prince Luma asked.

"Why of course they can," Rosalina said as she went off with Prince Luma.

"Sophie you better not be doing anything in there, Sophie are you listening, Sophieeeee," Ann said as she began pounding on the door to Syrup's room. A couple of guards grabbed Ann and dragged her away from the door.

C.) Remind May she helped and now she should help you make up with Sophie, and surely she'd forgive you if you caught a Boss Bass. And May would probably make way better bait.
D.) Get some pick-up line pointers from Jesus to use to re-win Sophie's heart.
E.) Go play with Joanna and her baby and wonder how to make one with Sophie.
H.) Go chat with Mystic and figure out the best way to apologize to Sophie.

Location: Syrup's Ship

"Hey that booty was mine first," Ann yelled at the door. "Now my fiance is in there touching Pirate booty probaly," Ann huffed. "Well whatever just remeber I had it first," Ann told the door with much defiance.

"Aye, she certainly be a lively one," Syrup said as she had a jug filled with funny smelling liquid.

"You can certainly say that but umm whats in the jar?" Sophie asked.

"Aye just some ale, a drink us sea lovers like to have while roaming the seas, here to a new and ever lasting partnership," Syrup said tossing Sophie a glass filled with the ale.

"Umm is this safe to drink?" Sophie asked.

"Aye its a special drink help you loosen up and relax," Syrup said as she downed the entire glass in one gulp.

"Well okay here goes nothing?" Sophie said as she took a sip. "Sophie recoiled at the taste of it, and was a little taken a back. "Bleh this tastes like bleh," Sophie said.

"Thats what they all say when they first have a taste," Syrup said as she poured herself another cup. "Besides I have some business to talk with you about and i hoped this would help to ease the nerves," Syrup said as she began sipping on the drink.

"Well umm okay but you see me and Ann just recently became engaged," Sophie said as took another sip.

"Huh, oh no nothing like dat unless you want to," Syrup said mischievously, as Sophie seemed to worry a bit. "You know the one thing pirates love more then anything and dats boooty," Syrup told Sophie as she became red. "Yeah dat sweet booty, nothing beats the thrill of taking it and grabbing it from right undereneath," Syrup said as she began to slowly back away. Syrup then began breaking into laughter as she took her seat right across from Sophie.

"Lax my winged landlubber, as cute as I find ya, I understand your booty belongs to another," Syrup said with a giggle.

"Umm err right, my booty belongs to another i think," Sophie says as she sat down. "To be clear we were talking about my treausres and loot when we were talking about booty right?" Sophie asked.

"My were talking about booty of course pretty bird," Syrup said with a coy smile. "No I just wanted to talk with you, one on one," Syrup said to Sophie. "Your ceratinly like no one i ever saw before I just want to get a chance to talk one leader to another," Syrup told Sophie. "Plus to go over the second part of our little arrangment," Syrup told Sophie.

Sophie took a long hard gulp with the way Syrup said the second part of there arrangement.

"Don't gulp like that, its rude,". "Besides I promise you that its nothing bad or anything, in fact I think your going to like it," Syrup told Sophie as the two ladies began to talk to one another.
