The Mushroom Kingdom Chronicles.... The Goddess Anna

As night falls upon Yoshi Island, Rosalina sneaks outside with her telescope in hand. Rosalina is about to do her favorite hobby from back when she was a kid. Rosalina sets up her telescope and begins to gaze upon the starry night sky.

Rosalina is so caught up in watching the stars (and to a lesser extent her children) she dosen't notice Princess Peach come up from behind her.

"Hey there mind if i join?" Peach asked Rosalina.

"Oh," Rosalina said looking around. "Oh hey Princess yeah you can join if you want," Rosalina said returning to looking through her telescope. "I remember back when I was a litte girl, how I loved to gaze upon the stars for hours," Rosalina said with a rather upbeat tone in her voice. "After all this time its still one of my favorite things to do, plus it helps me keep an eye on my children while I am away," Rosalina said while gazing through the telescope.

"Funny how your favorite thing to do is star gaze," Peach said lying on ground gazing at the star. "So i been meaning to ask what its like having to take care of all those children?" Peach asked.

"At times very exhausting," Rosalina replied. "Yet its hard to put into words the joy and satisfaction I get when I see them grow into a beautiful planet, comet, star," Rosalina said with much joy. "Yet there is a sense of longing, how much I miss them when they grow up, but then another group of young Lumas come and the process repeats itself," Rosalina said.

"Wow, it sounds like alot," Peach replied.

"It can be but its also very satisfying too, being there mother i wouldn't trade it for anything in the galaxy," Rosalina said as she layed on the ground next to Peach.

"I know this may sound weird but i tell my subjects this one thing each and every night," Peach said to Rosalina, Rosalina turned to her side and was ready to hear what Peach had to say. "If anything ever happens to me, don't cry for me because I am always there loooking over you," Peach said. I am there looking over you throughout the stars." Peach said.

Rosalina then rose up almost like she was remembering something she heard a long time ago. "I am always there to look over you throughout the stars," Rosalina said to herself almost as if she was whipering it. "Those words are so familiar," Rosalina said as if an old memory hit her with the force of a train.

"Rosalina are you okay," Peach asked.

"Yes mother i am okay," Rosalina replied to Peach.

"Mother?" Peach asked very confused.

Rosalina then realizing what she called Peach. "Umm yes Mom, I mean princess, I am very sorry, I need to get to sleep now," Rosalina said as she rushes back to the hut where every body else was.

"Mother, could I really be her mom?" Peach asked as she returned to the hut to.

"Hey Ann, where are you leading me too?" Sophie asked. Ann was acting unusually quiet around Sophie. "Ann you feeling okay?" Sophie asked as Ann and her made there way to a hill overlooking the starry night sky.

"Okay Ann whats going on?" Sophie asked highly concerned.

"Sophie we known each other for so long haven't we," Ann said very quietly. "We been through so much together," Ann said. "It was you and Aunt Sonia who was there by my side when mom died," Ann said. "It was you who tried to defend me the night my sister attacked me," Ann went on. "We met some really great people here and i am scared," Ann said very upset.

"Ann is that all," Sophie said with a sense of relief. "Come on we are sisters you know you dont have to be scared around me, about anything," Sophie said as she made her way to Ann. "Now what is it your so scared of," Sophie asked comforting her friend.

"Regardless of what happens will we always be sisters," Ann asked.

"Of course, no matter what happens we will be sisters," Sophie told Ann.

"I developed feelings for someone," Ann said.

"Aww how cute," Sophie said congratulating Ann. "So whos the lucky guy?" Sophie asked.

Ann was now visibly scared, too the point where she was trembling qnd shaking in Sophies arms. "I love you," Ann said to Sophie with tears in her eyes.

"Really why are you crying when you say that, of course I love you like a sister," Sophie told Ann.

"I love you more then just a sister," Ann said. "The person I developed feelings for were for you Sophie," Ann said as tears began flowing down her pale cheeks. When Ann told that to Sophie, a sudden realization came over Sophie. "I been having these feelings for a while now," Ann told Sophie.

"Ann, I dont know, how to respond," Sophie said unsure of what to say.

"It's okay Sophie, please just promise me something," Ann said.

"Of course, anything," Sophie said to Ann.

"Promise me you wouldn't hate me atter i do this," Ann said as she drew closer to Sophie. Before Sophie could say anything Ann pulled Sophie in and for what seemed like an eternity but was only a few moments Ann and Sopie were there kissing each other. Time seem to stand still and for those brief moments nothing seemed to matter.

Then Ann opened her eyes and pulled away from Sophie. Ann didn't say anything to Sophie but just looked at her and walked towards the huts. Sophie stood there in silence unsure of what to say or do.

I bet Sophie's really confused.

Finally got around to updating the stats. Only thing left to do is a couple of scenes where they are being lead to Lord Crump. The introduction of the worlds cutest and fluffiest band the Pichu Band (pretty much they will be there to play the BGM during major boss encounters) and then finally the first of many fights involving Sir Dude

Location: Jungle

Bill was leading the group towards Lord Crumps hideout. Sophie and Peach were in the front, while the others behind them were wondering what happened between Ann and Sophie. "I wonder what happened between those two," Javier asked.

"Yeah Ann and Sophie were so close when we first met," Joanna said.

May and Zack were walking close to one another while DK and Yoshi were close behind. Finally, bringing up the rear were Ann and Rosalina who were in akward silence until Rosalina finally started talking to Ann.

"Rough night?" Rosalina asked Ann.

"Kinda how bout you?" Ann asked.

"Kinda," Rosalina replied to Ann sheepishly. "I was stargazing when the Princess showed up," Rosalina said. "We began talking and long story short i called her something i probably shouldn't have," Rosalina said. Ann looked at Rosalina confused as too what happened. "I called her mother," Rosalina said.

"Oh, well me and Sophie were alone last night," Ann said. "I confessed my true feelings for her," Ann said. Rosalina looked unsure as too why that would be a bad thing. "I told her i love her and made out with her," Ann said while she was blushing.

"Oh that's something, but tell me how did Sophie respond," Rosalina asked Ann.

"Not sure, after we kissed I left and we haven't talked about it since," Ann said. "How about you Mama Rosalina?" Ann asked.

"After i called her mom, kinda of left and haven't spoke to her since," Rosalina said.

"Hey Ann, Rosalina far be it from me to say anything but don't you think you should say something," Flan asked. "I mean we are about to take on this Crump person," Flan said. "We cant have the four of you awkwardly interacting with one another," Flan said.

"She is right, we might as well get this over with," Rosalina said to Sophie as both the girls made there way towards the front.

"Sigh sometimes its hard being a goddess," Flan whispered to herself as she flew after the girls

Rosalina and Ann made there way to the front of the group. Before anyone went further Rosalina and Ann motioned for the group to start. Afterwards they went over to Sophie and Peach and began speaking in almost perfect unison.

"We're sorry for calling you momther and making out with you last night," Rosalina and Ann said in perfect unison.

Sophie and Peach were staring at one another beat red. The rest of the group was in complete shock to here what happened last night, there was even a few chuckles that could be heard throughout. Rosalina and Ann just kept repeating the same line over and over and were asking for forgiveness.

"Umm is this really the right time Ann?" Sophie choked out while her face was about as red as the sun above her. Ann looked at Sophie with puppy dog eyes pleading for Sophie's forgiveness. "Ann look I am not mad at you and i don't hate you," Sophie said to a highly relieved Ann. "I wish you didn't just tell the entire group, what happened," Sophie said as Ann just stared at her sheepishly.

"Umm Rosalina, its fine what happened last night," Peach told Rosalina. "It was very unexpected to hear that, but dont worry about it," Peach reassured Rosalina. "Please dont beat yourself over it but i do wish you would have told me in private and not in front of everyone," Peach sighed while Rosalina looked highly relieved.

While Ann and Rosalina were being forgivdned the noise attracted some unwanted attention. Bill did a good job leading the group too Lord Crumps stronghold. Well a little too good Bill forgot about part of the stronghold being hidden from view. While Ann and Rosalina were apologizing and making alot of noise it attracted thr attention of some of the Xnaunts. They in turn informed Lord Crump about Sophie and her group. It seems like that some of the X-Nauts from the village remember seeing Sophie and informed Lord Crump all about her.

Bill tried to get everyones attention to let them know that they were spotted but everyone was too focused on Ann and Rosalina.

"So it seems like we have some trespassers," Lord Crump said as he made his way to the group

"Well now it seems like the Yoshis were trying to get help from a bunch of outsiders," Lord Crump said. "You really think they can stop my secret weapon," Lord Crump said very confidently. "I am a forgiving person though, so you Blue Yoshi tell your chief i demand double the offerings in order for me too overlook this transgression," Lord Crump said to Bill. Bill ran off as fast as he could back to the village. While Lord Crump was watching Bill leave he noticed  a couple of familiar faces. "Any if it isn't Princess Peach and that annoying Yoshi Brat," Lord Crump said to the group.

"Umm he doesn't look that scary," Ann said in reference to Lord Crump.

"Honestly, he just some flukie, wasn't really much of a threat from before, even when he was serving under that weirdo Groduis or something," Yoshi said.

"Yeah if this is all we have to worry about this shouldn't take to long," Sophie said.

"Laugh it up while you can, because your about to see the mustard of your Doom," Lord Crump said as he motioned for some minions to bring out his secret weapon. The minions came back with what looked like a giant Purple Yoshi. The Purple Yoshi had black spots and red eyes and it looked like it was sleeping. "Behold my latest creation, you can call it Yoob," Lord Crump said. "Yoob show them what happens, when people try to disrepect me," Lord Crump called out to Yoob. 

Sophie and the rest of the group readied for battle and were preparing for the worse. Yoob just stood there not moving from the platform. "Yoob attack them now," Lord Crump demanded. Yoob just stood there not moving or even making an attempt to do anything. "Yoob Attack, attack, attack," Lord Crump pleaded as he kept on jamming on what looked like a remote control.

"Sir dude, it seems like we forgot to charge him last night," one of the X Nauts said.

"Grumble grumble fine then ready Magus Van Grapple I will deal with these fools myself," Lord Crump said.

"Sir dude umm Van Grapple is in shop for some maintenance," the minion informed Lord Crump.

"For crying out loud is it really that hard to get any decent, oof," Lord Crump was interrupted from what looked like a tiny yellow and black mouse booped him on the head. It seems like the mouse was on a nearby hill when it triped and fell on top of Lord Crump.

"Be careful guys we don't know if these Pichu are hostile?" Sophie called out.

"Can't contain myself," May said as she was trembling. "There cutness, those adorable fluffy ears, the way they say Pichu," May said. "There adorableness is over 9000," May said. The screen goes super anime as it went all pink with pictures of Pichus and there eyes had little hearts on them. "Thats it," May said as she just vanished.

The leader (or what seems like the leader) made his way to Sophie. Chip (at least that's the name that on a card he gave Sophie) went over to Sophie and what can only be described as adorable tried to explain the situation to her. Unfortunately, for Chip, Sophie couldn't understand what Chip was trying to say and to her Chip was just waving his arms and saying Pichu.

"Umm I am sorry Chip but i dont know what you are trying to say," Sophie said. While Chip and Sophie were talking a silent shadow was creeping closer to Chip.

"Your going to belong to me," the shadow said.

Chip looked disappointed because him and his friends just wanted to play music but he couldn't get his point across. Chip then notices Flan (Whos a talking Fletching) hovering by Ann and he pointed towards her. "Pichu Pichu Piii chu, Pi," Chip said while hopping up and down trying to get Sophies attention.

"You want to speak to Flan," Sophie said as Chip nodded in agreement. "Okay, hey Flan can you come here for a moment?" Sophie asked Flan. Flan flew down and landed next to Chip.

Chip then began speaking with Flan and what appeared to Sophie was Flan nodding her head and Chip saying Pichu. While Chip and Flan were speaking the shadow stalking Chip got closer and closer til it leapt towards Chip. Chip noticed the shadow and effortlessly hoped over the shadow. "May what yhe Fetching?" Flan asked.

Aww i was tryin to get that cutie over there," May pouted. Chip saw May was pouting and went to go see if she was okay. Chip then placed his paw on her arms and was making sure she was okay. "Oh how thoughtful, and i got you now," May said as she snatched up Chip and but him in her ultimate hug technique. Chip was spooked by being suddenly grabbed and let out a Thunderbolt and shocked her. "Umm did it suddenly become extra cispy here," May said as she fainted from the electrical shock.

"Pichu," Chip said very sheepishly while rubbing the back of his head.

"May we told you about this sigh," Ann said as she dragged May away and healed her.

"Pichu?" Chip asked Flan.

"Umm sure," Flan said to Chip.

"Piicchhhuuuu," Chip said as he made his way back to the others and told them the good news.

"So, whats going on?" Sophie asked Flan.

"Well, the Pichus are part of a band, and all they want to do is play music while we battle," Flan told Sophie.

"I don't know it kinda of sounds dangerous," Sophie said.

"They assured me they will keep a safe distance and that they will stay out of the way," Flan said.

"Well you seem to think they would be safe just as long they dont put themselves into any harm," Sophie said.

While all this was going on, Lord Crump finally regained his bearings. "Ha your going to have to do better then throwing mice at me to defeate me," Lord Crump said. "Minions on the ready about time we show them what happens when you throw animals at me unprovoked," Lord Crump said as the minions began forming around him.

"Can this encounter get any more random?" Sophie sighed as she prepared for battle.
