Talia stooped down. "Hello there, little one," she cooed. "Wherever did you come from?"
She scooped Sam up gently and stared into his eyes. "Haha... I do not suppose you know what happened to my memories or where I was yesterday, hm?" She laughed a bit at her own joke.

"Well she doesn't seem to have lost all her memories like Baron and Catie did but still," Sam thought. "Talia can sense something is wrong it seems," Sam thought.
Sam nodded his yes to Talias question and leaned in closer to her. "I would prefer to talk someplace a little more private," Sam whispered to her. "Please come to Barons house so we can all talk together and maybe get an idea of what is going on," Sam whispered to her.

Talia's mouth tightened, but she otherwise didn't respond to the cat suddenly talking to her. She patiently waited for it to finish speaking before freaking out in a very calm, controlled manner. "How odd," she said. "I do not recall being able to speak with animals. What exactly did I drink yesterday?"
A memory briefly flickered into her mind. "Oh? Actually, I vaguely remember that I drank a most excellent glass of alcohol. Still, that does not explain the talking cat. Cat, can you actually talk? Or has my mind simply finally snapped? Or is something darker, perhaps, afoot? Tell me something I know I should not know, please, so I may know this is no insanity."

Sam just sighed at because he was hoping it would be enough to get her out of the public eyes. Sam could tell her about everything that happened yesterday no promblem, even something as simple of rubbing the magic seal against her body would dispel the spell placed on her. Yet, there's no telling what harm that could cause, just having Baron and Caries memory erased was enough to knock them out. Who knows how much damage it could cause with the sudden rush of memories.
"Well I prefer to do this where there isn't as many eyes, people seem to not be as calm when I start talking,". "Okay let's start off with my name, its Sam and you were with me, Baron, the young man who was sitting on the porch next to me, and his fiance named Catie the one with the pink hair and the pink tail,". "You were telling us how your a type-4 and did a quick demonstration of some of your talents,". "Your with Shalla and Serlen also but we parted ways with them when we reached our destination," Sam said to Talia.
Sam then took a couple of deep breaths before he coutinued and then braced for whatever would happen.
"Tell me does the name Lavendar Lounge ring any bells, that's where we went and there you met a bartender,". "A bartender who is also a type 4 was there, and you and her were talking, and you had a very expensive glass of alcohol which she gave to you for free,". "Also something about you being a mercenary was brought up along the way too," Sam said to Talia.

Talia walks over to an inconspicuous alleyway and leans against the wall as Sam talks. "Hm... Nope. I do not remember any of it, my cute little kitty," she says as she rubs behind his ears. "Not going to try too hard, either. So, that little cutie over there is named Catie, hmmmm? And her fiance's a bit of a looker, too. Hm, hm, hm... Well, I have 4 questions. So, what exactly happened to my memory? Do they remember me? And why can I understand you?"

"Okay well your memories were erased because of the place we went to yesterday," Sam said to Talia. "The place where we were going to meet Barons dad,". "Well we got there and we were ready to meet with him but he called away on urgent business, so we left,". "The place is called the Midnight Cathedral, and there's a spell placed on the area,". "You need to have gotten a seal from someone there otherwise the place will erase your memories of the previous day,". "Don't worry your memories aren't gone they are more or less sealed," Sam said to Talia.
"As far as Baron and Catie remebering you its hard to tell,". "Even though Catie seems to have picken up your scent or a familiar scent so at the very least I will say a feeling of Déjà Vu," Sam told Talia.
"Let's see you havent gained the sudden ability to talk to animals,". "I could always talk but I choose to talk to only a few people,". "You see I am in truth a dispile of Barons dad,". "I was tasked to deliver a letter to Barons mom asking him for forgiveness,". "In order to hide my presence he used a forbidden form of life magic to turn me into a cat,". "Long story short I lost the seal to unlock the letter so I decided to stay with Baron,". "Been with him sence he was a baby, and been with Catie sense she joined up with Baron," Sam said to Talia.

"Interesting, interesting..." Talia mutters, still petting the kitty. "Well, that was only three of my four questions. So... Who is a good kitty? Hm? Are you the good kitty?"
She was more or less just stalling for time with that question while she turned her attention to the inside of her own mind. Erased memories would be one thing - pretty much hopelessly gone. But sealed? Knowing that, Talia was able to find the memories simply enough. What she found was a pretty impressive seal. It would take a lot of time and effort and energy to undo that - more energy than Talia cared to waste. Not with a vague recount of everything that happened. It doesn't sound like she let something dangerous slip or anything, nothing anyone else remembers, anyway. Maybe she would fix it someday, but not now. Talia finished poking around in her head and put Sam down, not bothering to listen to whatever he was saying about being a good kitty or not.
She walked back out of the alley. "Baron!" she called out. "Ca-a-a-a-atie!"

Baron lifted his head as he heard someone call his name it sounded like a females voice.
Catie ears perked up as she heard her name being called. "Huh who was that?" Catie said as she made her way towards the sound of the voice. As she made her way towards the front of the house the scent she picked up on became stronger. "That smell its getting stronger, and its coming from there," Catie said as she made a beeline for Talia.
"I found you, and your going to," Catie said midleap as she leaped towards Talia. Before Baron or Sam could stop her Catie was already on top of Talia with her tail wagging back and fourth

Talia spreads her arms wide and catches Catie mid-leap, allowing herself to get thrown to the ground. "Well, hello there. It is nice to meet you again, Catie," Talia says with a smile. "You are even more adorable up close. I now understand what the past me was thinking." Talia wraps an arm around Catie and begins to lightly stroke her back. "So, are you planning to introduce your fiance?"

"Yes, yes, yes," Catie said very excitedly. "Oh I knew that smelled familiar, its nice to meet you again," Catie said while nuzzling Talia with her tail wagging back and fourth. While Catie was nuzzling Talia Baron noticed Sam coming from the alley.
"So umm Sam did we really meet with Talia yesterday, for the life of me yesterday feel like a blur," Baron told Sam.
"Long story but yes you and Talia met at the taveren and were talking with Shalla and her boyfriend but they left afterwards," Sam said to Baron.
"Well Catie at the very least remembers her scent and she only gets this friendly with people we know," Baron shrugged.
"Oh right you wanted to meet my fiancé," Catie said as she helped Talia to her feet. "Baron chun I like you to meet Talia, we met her yesterday and well we umm," Catie said as she was trying to remember what happened. "We talked and umm did we invite her back to the house or something,". "Maybe we invited her for a little," Catie was then cut off by Sam.
"Umm no that didn't happen yesterday, even though this is the Realm of Aurstur," Sam said. "No we were talking and she is a traveler," Sam told them
"So Talia its umm nice to meet you again," Baron said as he offered his hand for a handshake

Talia takes Baron's hand. "A pleasure. You will have to forgive me. I am afraid I do not recall anything about you beyond your name and face. Nor your beautiful fiance."
