"I wanna hold her too~." Rhea butted in taking little Nivian from Arcturus while Jam took Arcturus into bed for cuddles. "Oh, she's even cuter than Pearl when she was a baby." Ignoring that comment, Jam started talking to Arcturus.
"I never want to miss you that long again ever, and now that our baby's born you have no excuses. You have to stay home and be a family man."
Interrupting any immediate response was a voice that could only belong to the goddess of love, "My, my, something special must have happened in this room for all this love to be abound." A knowing grin spread across her face. As the nymphs turned to face mother, only Rhea's gaze was fixated on the woman to her side. Zappa also appeared to look at someone other than Nivian though his focus was on on the man who's arm was around her waist.
"Take her back." Rhea handed the parents back their child. "I have some.... catching up to do."
"I wouldn't punch him in the gut." Isabell told Baron jokingly. "Nah, there's nothing special to note. Just have a general reverence for the unofficial king of vampires to keep up appearances."
"I'm just a bartender." Rose told no one named Talia in particular. I was only interested in intent. I haven't sensed any malice so you two can pass as well.
"Hmmm?" Isabell looks up from his drink suddenly. "Oh By the way half blood, feel free to have your wife and bodyguard accompany you. They have permission to pass." The pianist began to play a haunting melody which the door responded to by glowing signifying it was unlocked.
That Town Where Shinedown Found Arcturus The majority of the city was on a manhunt for a type-2 strong enough to cast them under darkness, and the one person to find him was the one found by him. The visiting glass maker didn't even want to participate in this game, but he was Alucard's only target. However, it was hard for him to ignore such a bright, unnatural white light when the sun was being blocked.
"Umm, may I help you sir?"
"Of course you can Gerald. I heard you know someone that can lead me to Herrod."
*ahem* "And who would that be?" The vampire smiles cruelly creating a noticeable chill. *crack* sound off several bifocals.
"Don't play coy with me. I'm offering you the easy way. The tighter your lips, the slimmer your chance of survival."

The tension in the air was palpable as the two sisters stared at each other, the venom in their combined gazes enough to melt a hole in a mountain. Before the tension could amount to anything more, however, the man beside Nivian stepped forward and cleared his throat loudly. Instantly, all attention turned to him, and the tension faded and dissipated beneath the weight of his overwhelming presence. He was a giant of a man, over seven feet tall with broad, sweeping shoulders and a physique that made him look like a champion body builder. His eyes resembled miniature Suns; golden and fiery, and burning with untold power and wisdom. His hair was a crisp, sterling gray, pulled back into a traditional Shiryuan braid that hung down his shoulders, a style that was typically used only by royalty. A full beard lined his jaw, but it was neatly trimmed and shaped, and combined with what appeared to be casual sailor's attire, he looked like a cross between a Pirate Lord and a regal Emperor. To most, he seemed like a man in his early forties. But to those who looked closer, there was a timelessness to him, a surreal agelessness that surrounded him like a shimmering aura. Upon his head sat a crown of laurel leaves, intertwined with gold rings.
Those in the room who knew who the man was bowed immediately. "This is a day of celebration," he said, looking between the sisters, his deep voice like rolling thunder. "There will be no quarreling today, girls. Behave yourselves."
With that, he strode towards the bed where the couple lay and knealt down, his face softening into the look of a kind, old grandfather. "She's beautiful," he said, smiling. "Have you decided on a name?"

Arcturus looked at Pearl as he spoke, ignoring the random stranger who just walked in.
"Don't worry." He smiled. "Though I still haven't found a place quite like what we wanted."

"Ok guys are you ready?" Baron asked. Baron's mind was buzzing like a swarm of angry wasps, all this time he was wondering what would happen if he found his dad now he's only mere moments away.
"Baron honey you okay?" Catie asked as she went to comfort Baron.
"Umm I don't know how I feel," Baron replied. "Our entire journey led to this and now I don't know what or how to think," Baron said.
"Well then you should do what you always do," Sam said perched upon Baron's shoulder. "Close your eyes and rush head long into the unknown," Sam said. "You been doing it all your life why stop now," Sam teased.
"Your right Sam," Baron said taking a deep breath. "With you, Catie, Van, and Talia by my side I have nothing to fear," Baron said.
"There's the Baron I know," Sam said with a toothy grin.
Baron took one more deep breath and closed his eyes. When Baron, opened his eyes he took one step towards the opening door. Baron and crew began walking towards the opening door. When Baron arrived he was what looked like people wearing hoods were in prayer. Baron could also make out what sounded like some form of chanting.
"Umm so where should we begin?" Baron asked.

Talia takes a few steps into the main hall and is immediately struck by a wave of apprehension. High, vaulted ceilings, large stone columns, pews of chanting, hooded figures... Lots of potential places for a threat to hide, and plenty of potential threats in the open already. If things turn ugly... Well, at least that was some damn fine booze.
Two more hooded figures are standing at the pulpit. One of them is the source of the chanting. The other stands quietly behind him.
Talia reaches out to Baron's mind, gently tugging his attention towards the pair, then to a few open seats near the rear. While she waits for him to decide what to do, she splits her attention. While she tries to decipher the chanting, she scans the room for any signs of aggression, any signs of lurkers in the shadow...

Eya visibly bristled with anger as Arcturus ignored Aanu's question. She took a step forward and opened her mouth, but Aanu swiftly raised a massive arm to block her path. "There will be no fighting this day." His voice rippled with power, like a commandment, and the Goddess of Plague instantly backed down.
"It is not surprising the boy does not know me. Though, it is a tad surprising he doesn't seem to know where he is. Nivian my dear, did you not tell the boy where you would be bringing little Pearl to give birth?"
He gives a fatherly smile and turns back to his new son-in-law. "Regardless, allow me to introduce myself. I am Aanu, Lord of this house and King of the Shiryuan Pantheon. Welcome to the home of the gods, my son."

Once Upon a TimeVincent smiled, a wide, unrestrained smile, and pointed at the brightest constellation in the night sky. That constellation, like a glimmering, ever present outline, had shone even more radiantly than usual in the past two nights, and while Elia didn't know why- yet- Vincent certainly did. He traced the clustered stars with the point of his finger, drawing the picture of two lovers standing next to each other, their hands clasped above their heads. "While most of the world knows them as the Lovers, in Shiryu, we call this constellation the Fates. I think you'll find, as with most things, our interpretation of their story is quite different." He inhales deeply before continuing, drinking in the air and the environment around him, as a Storyteller would often do before launching into an Epic, or a Minstrel in preparation for a long song. "Many centuries ago, when the world was a much simpler place, there lived a young girl on the outskirts of a small fishing village in Shiryu. Situated on the bank of a small river, the village was isolated, far removed from the trade routes and cities of the time, and the inhabitants were very poor. Very few of the villagers had anything substantial to call their own, but they were happy, and lived a peaceful life. Despite its small size, the river always seemed to be abundant with fish, and the people never had to worry about disease or illness. Whenever someone in the village fell ill, they would bring the sick to the small hut on the forest's edge just beyond the village, and the young girl the villagers called the River Maiden would heal them. For, you see, the River Maiden possessed a mysterious power, the power to control the waters of the River, to alter its current and flow, and to heal the sick and wounded. The villagers knew no such thing as magic, or Magic Types, and had no way of knowing just how special that girl truly was." He took a moment to pause there, to catch his breath, and to let the full impact of the girl's power sink into his sole audience member, knowing she would realize how truly incredible it was. Type 1 users were rare enough, even today, but a dual type user... Such a thing was virtually unheard of. "The River Maiden lived a good life," he continued. "But she was lonely. She had no parents, nor any family to speak of, and the villagers visited her only occasionally, to pay their respects and ask for her blessing. She had washed ashore when she was but an infant, carried by the river's gentle caress to the village door, and had no way of knowing from whence she came. Then, one night, she was woken from a sound sleep by a sudden storm. It had blown in during the night, unannounced, and threatened to tear her small Hut to shreds. Rain pounded mercilessly against the wooden walls, the wind howled and clawed at the thatch roof. Streaks of lightning flashed across the night sky, and the river raged and swelled, threatening to overwhelm the banks of the village, while the villagers frantically gathered their families and ran for higher ground. Desperate to help, the River Maiden ran from her Hut, out into the raging storm, clutching her straw hat against her to keep it from blowing away, and that's when she saw it. A streak of gold shooting across the sky, beautiful and brilliant. She watched as the star fell from the heavens, and thinking it a sign from the Gods, she began to pray. And as she prayed, something miraculous, something extraordinary happened. The star fell, and it landed in the forest behind her Hut." "The shockwaves released by the star's impact instantly quelled the storm and drove away the clouds. The river calmed and retreated back into its bed, and the village was bathed in rays of gentle moonlight. While the villagers began bailing out the remaining pools of water in the village, the River Maiden rushed through the trees, leaping over logs and ducking beneath branches, until she reached the heart of the forest, where the Fallen Star lay in its newfound cradle. All around her, the trees lay battered and broken, and the land scorched beyond recognition. No trace of green remained. She had never seen such destruction. But in the center of all that death, was a life that would change hers forever. The River Maiden watched as the smoke and dust cleared, revealing a man unlike any she had ever seen, a man with hair of fire and wings of gold." "She carried the unconscious Star all the way back to her tiny Hut and gave him her only bed. She stayed with him for three days and three nights, silently nursing him back to health. On the fourth day, exhausted, she fell asleep at his bedside. When she woke, her Star- as she had taken to fancying him to be that, if only in the daydreams of a lonely girl- was nowhere to be found. Frantic and panicked, the River Maiden ran out into the village to search for him. The villagers, who were shocked to see her out of her Hut, had not seen her Star, and so she turned her search to the forest. She searched and searched, throughout every hidden corner and secret glade, until at last she came upon the Heart of the Forest once more. There she stopped, and her breath caught in her throat, as she watched her Star revitalize the forest he had so unwittingly destroyed. New saplings sprouted and grew, and new blades of grass sprung up all over the barren land. The day merged into night, and finally finished, the Star turned to the Girl, who had been sitting perfectly still, watching him all that time." "You are the one who saved me," the Star said. The girl nodded, and responded with her name. "What is your name?" She asked in kind. The Star smiled and said, "I do not know. I do not remember where I come from, or even who I am. Will you help me remember, Maiden of the Forest?" The girl nodded again. "I will." "They spent several years together, him slowly regaining his memories, her falling ever deeper in love with him," Vincent said softly, gently playing with Elia's hair as he spoke. "Over time, he too confessed his love for her, and they agreed to spend the rest of their lives together. In the end however, once his memories fully returned, it came time for him to return to the heavens, where he belonged. After all, he had been sent by the Gods to ease her loneliness, as an answer to her prayers, and now his time was done. The girl- now a young woman- was distraught. She had spent what seemed like a thousand lifetimes with him, building a thousand precious memories, and she couldn't imagine ever living without him. After he left, she wept for many days, and as she wept, the river and the forest themselves cried with her. Years passed, and while life retutned to normal for the other villagers, her sorrow never lessened. Even as her life waned before her, and she became the Village Elder, a grandmother with no children of her own, she never forgot. Every night, she would gaze up at the stars, and every night the village children would hear her crying quietly to herself. Unable to take her sorrow any longer, her Star went to the other Stars and pleaded with them to let him return to her. The other Stars eventually agreed, but only for a day. And so he returned to her once again. The old woman found her star in the Heart of the Forest, beneath the branches of the saplings he had planted so many years ago, that were now fully grown. She dropped her old walking stick as her eyes misted and watered. Her Star walked up to her and gently embraced her, and they held each other for the entire day. To him, she was every bit as beautiful as the first time he saw her watching him in the forest, so long ago." "When it came time for him to leave again, the entire village joined them in the forest. Hands joined in silent prayer, the villagers formed a circle around them and asked the Gods to let her join her Star in the heavens. So moved by their prayers were the Gods, that King Aanu Himself, Master of the Seas and Lord of Creation, came down from his mighty throne in a burst of starlight. He granted her request to be with her beloved, and as she stood in her Star's arms, the River Maiden felt all her years wash away like the rolling tide. King Aanu proclaimed the two would forever share a space in the sky, and forever guide those who have lost their way, and forever bless those who love in spite of sorrow. To this very day, it is said that when it rains during a wedding, but the night sky is still clear enough to see the stars, the Fated Couple, the Star and the Maiden, are granting their blessing. It is why all weddings in Shiryu take place outside and at night." Vincent takes a few moments to catch his breath as he finishes his story. Then he tightens his arms around his wife and says quietly, "That Star was my uncle Raizel, and the River Maiden was his wife, Selia. That's why it didn't rain for our wedding last night, because they were here to bless us in person. Shiryuans strongly believe that every legend, every folktale and every myth are rooted in truth. That's why our traditions are so important to us." He points again to the constellation shining above them. "Do you see how the constellation appears to be directly above us? Look closely, my love. If you look close enough, you'll see that it's because they really are. The Fates are lined up almost precisely with the top of this mountain. So, no matter where you are in the world, you will always be able to find your way home to me. Always." He leans down to kiss the top of her head. "I am your Star, Elia. And you will never have to walk through life without me."

“They said, in the old tales, that the lands of Austur as they are today reveal our ancient history. When the old gods of Austur descended to judge humanity, they followed a path from the north to their temples on the isles of Shiryu. They say that the north is cold because this is where they first turned their back on their peoples. But it is here, in this very same place, that another young god and a human have taken sacred vows and live peacefully. And being deeply in love, no place will ever be too cold, because the warmth in our hearts will sustain us. I think that may be one of the best stories of all,” she said as she leaned into Vincent’s embrace.

"I think you're right," Vincent said, tightening his arms around her.
Vincent allowed himself to savor the moment for a while longer, simply enjoying the quiet night together, then he peered down at the smiling angel in his arms and smiled back.
"I think that's enough for one night, my dear. Consider this a mere introduction to your real lessons. Starting tomorrow night, I'll teach you how to pinpoint your exact location using the stars, how to use the stars as a map to lead you anywhere in the world, and what to do on a cloudy night or on a night with few stars. Then I'll teach you how to use the Sun in the same way, so that you will never be lost, no matter where you are. But for now, my Elia, let us retire for the night. I don't wish to keep you awake too late."

*knock, knock, knock*
The door creaked loudly as Irving looked inside the modest hut at the corner of the village. If someone didn't know what to look for, they never would've figured it to be the home for the village's headmaster. "Hello?"
"Irving, my boy!"
Irving jumped as the door was flung wide open and a spirited figure in a mask seemingly materialized out of nowhere, arms outstretched towards him in greeting. He almost looked as suspicious as possible; he had a black body suit that covered most of his (very, very tall and long) figure, and wore a mask over his face fashioned in the form of a Kappa (not that Irving knew what that was). Any other time, someone might've gotten a machete to the ribcage.
"AAAH!" Irving almost tripped and fell as he backed off.
"I'm so happy to see you in the flesh after all these years!" exclaimed Father Elijah. "If you didn't have the whole 'crazed' problem, I would be hugging you to near death right now!"
Irving stood back upright and cleared his throat to swallow his initial surprise. He looked up to the mask he had never previously seen him wear before. Like about half of his collection of masks, it looked creepy as sin. "Uh, hey! I'm glad to see ya too!"
"So, how've you been, kiddo?" Elijah asked, having darted next to Irving. He brought his hand behind Irving and made motions as if to affectionately pat him on the back, only with his hands visibly stopping a few inches away from actually touching the lad. "I haven't heard a peep from you since you left! Did you get a job?"
Irving chuckled at Elijah's mannerisms. He missed them. "I've been good enough. Mostly been goin' 'round doing some odd jobs, along with a gig as a caravan guard. Some days are rougher than others, but the pay's well enough."
He felt bad for lying. Fortunately, Elijah didn't seem to notice. "Good, good!" Elijah exclaimed. "I'm glad you're living a stable life!"
Despite all the downsides that come from a life of slavery, he prob'ly means.
He stopped "patting" Irving and then twirled to stand in front of him, leaning forward with his hand on his chin, as if inspecting Irving. "Now let's be serious for a bit here. How's your... 'condition', been?"
Irving opened his mouth to speak, then paused. "Still there...To be honest, it's probably gotten worse. When it happens, I feel like I'm gettin' even more violent than usual somehow. Sometimes, I'm even thinkin' that it's even takin' less for me to lose control like that, but I don't know if I'm imagining it."
Not helped with how deeply I've been getting into s*** lately.
Elijah made some exaggerated chin stroking gestures. "Hmm... That is pretty worrying." He then stood back upright and clasped his hands. "Good news about that! I've talked to a pal of mine, and he's come up with a theory!"
"A thee-rie?" asked Irving. "...What's a thee-rie?"
"It's..." Elijah tapped his forehead in thought. "It's basically what someone thinks is an explanation for something. In this case, it would be what my pal thinks is the reason you go into angry-time the way you do."
"Wait, really?!" exclaimed Irving.
"Indeed!" said Elijah. "Now, come inside and let me get you a drink! It's weird to talk about such things out in the open, you know!"
Before Irving could reply, Elijah had already darted back into his house, beckoning Irving to follow. Interested, Irving followed.

"My dear? My friend since when has it been alright to steal love?" Zappa's remark evoked immediate responses from those who knew Aanu well. Rhea hugged him, but her stance looked more like she was holding him back, Nivian placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder "Now we've talked about this before. You know that was just a moment in the past", Taffy kneeled before him in a panic while trying not to stare at Rhea and Wha-Wha tried her best to put on a disarming smile.
Content to be oblivious to impending doom, Pearl and her other sisters paid full attention to the baby. Pearl a little less so because she was responding to her husband, "I don't care. We can find it together."
Talia finds no signs of aggression however she can see the shadow of a lurker. The lurker seems to focus on the podium though rather than the group. As far as the chanting goes, the majority is meditative and meaningless. The parts that aren't could be deciphered by a linguist who knows the archaic form of Cleatian, but to people who only speak the vernacular a general theme can be figured out: death.
The man at the pulpit glances up at Baron and his party, smiling at Sam. "Excuse the ceremony travelers, we will be with you shortly."

Baron and Catie took a seat in the back of the chapple sittin in one of the final pews.
"Hey ummm Sam you have any idea what they are saying?" Baron asked Sam.
"Yes kinda of but its been a while since I heard this language," Sam said.
Catie is quite intrigued by the chanting thinking they are singinga song. Catie gets up and tries her best to chant along but it just comes out as complete gibberish and some howls she throws in there.
"Ummm Catie I don't think you should," Baron said.
"But Baron it sounds like fun what they are singing," Catie pouted.
"Catie my darling they are chanting I dont think they would appreciate you interupting them," Sam told her.
"Fine, your both jerks though all I wanted to do was sing along with them," Catie pouted as she sat down.
Sam then heard one word in particular that caught his attention. "Wait Death then again I shouldn't be that surprised given the place we are in and who roams around here," Sam said.
Baron leaned in and began whispering to Sam. "Should we be worried, about them chanting about death," Baron asked.
"Its not Death in the traditional sense more metaphorical in a way," Sam said.
Catie began to pray to herself and she closed her eyes.
"Honey what are you praying for?" Baron asked in concern.
"I am praying for the Death of my Enemies," Catie said completely causally.
Baron just sat back in his chair and sighed.

Talia takes a casual stance behind Catie's seat. She observes the chanting with a mask of polite interest. She lets herself enjoy the rhythm of the chant, gently humming along with the tones. "My, my. I've certainly chosen an interesting client this time. This is the last time I work pro bono," she thinks to herself.
She leans down and rubs Catie's head. "That is a wise prayer, my little cutie." She takes the opportunity to whisper into Baron's ear. "Stay on your guard. I will return shortly."
She casually strolls over in search of the shadow's source, a friendly smile on her face.

Elijah's little hut had the odd quirk of seeming a little bit bigger on the inside than it did out, at least to the point where someone could actually believe that someone lived there. It wasn't the most furnished house, consisting of three rooms. The living room had two-seat sofas, a wooden table, a few picture frames, a large shelf filled with the various masks Elijah likes to wear (one blank spot where the Kappa mask he's wearing usually is), and another shelf with various reading materials. The second room was your standard small kitchen, with the usual items inside. The third room was hidden behind a thick curtain, and nobody but Elijah knows what's behind it since no one's allowed inside. The lack of any form of actual bedding could be considered strange (the lack of restrooms could be explained by the existence of public outhouses and showers throughout the village), but as far as Irving or the others were concerned, Elijah doesn't really seem to need to sleep. This could be considered even stranger, but one could spend days listing Elijah's abnormal quirks, so that fact hardly stood out.
Irving sipped his drink while Elijah sat on the opposite sofa, twiddling his thumbs as he waited for Irving to finish.
"How'd you like it?" Elijah asked.
"Good coffee," Irving commented.
Elijah clasped his hands in joy. "How delightful! We've tried importing a different brand from the usual, and so far the response has been almost universally positive!"
Elijah then leaned forward and held his closed hands to his chin. "That aside, to business, right?"
Irving set the coffee mug on the table and stood up, ready to hear the thee-rie Elijah's "pal" came up with.
"Y'see, my pal was quite perple-- I mean, confused, about your symptoms and how they're supposed to be the subconscious work of Type-2 magicks. After all, this magic manife-- comes up in the form of 'angry-time and hitting things really, really hard', while traditional death magicks are stuff like necromancy, inflicting plagues, decaying, and all sorts of other nasty things. Plus, it took a while for my pal to dig up anything like it, and even then they were merely similar cases.
Now, it's no secret that your early years were... rough. You obviously hated the people who owned and abused you, right?"
"Yeah?" Irving answered.
"Sometimes wanting to inflict harm on them somehow -- hit them back -- even though you couldn't or knew you shouldn't? Maybe even wanting to kill your abusers?"
"...Yeah?" Irving said, shifting slightly at the uncomfortable subject.
"Well," Elijah continued, "my pal thinks it's because of your history that your condition has manifested. Since you were filled with negative emotions directed towards your slave owners, the more and more you began to hate them, and the more you wished for harm to be directed towards them. The theory is that your 'crazed state' is the release of many years of a certain form of dark energy being built up within you because of this hatred, without you realizing it. This dark energy, Irving, is what my pal thinks is the result of 'the desire to inflict death'."
"Inflicting...death?" Irving echoed.
"My pal says they have found records of rare people who've used Type-2 magicks in a similar way, though not quite in a 'hitting things really hard' way. Now, I'm not claiming to know your condition better than you, but I think it could explain a few things. Your crazed state wants nothing more than to kill anything and anyone that tries or wants to hurt you, right? Which would make it the personification of that desire to inflict death on others who would bring out negative emotions like pain. And you had suffered pain for years and could've built up this energy in that time, so that could explain why it's so powerful, right?"
Irving crossed his arms. "...Maybe, but..."
The bounty hunter flinched as Elijah suddenly held a card up to his face. "Here's my pal's card!" he said, joyfully. "I don't know if they're right or not, but I think it's better if they were to get a look at you in person to determi-- see if they have a point or not. This card is how and where to find 'em."
Irving took the card and skimmed over it.
...Dammit. Alibab.
"...Thanks," Irving said. "...I guess I'll just stay and rest for a day or two before settin' out."
"Oh, take all the time you like!" Elijah said, standing upright. "I know this is important to you, but you should always know when to take a break, you know!"
Irving nodded.
"Well, I gotta go see Haled... And everyone else."
"Of course, of course!" Elijah exclaimed. "Don't let me keep you!"
Irving stood up, grabbed his supplies by the door, and left the hut.
...This crazed this is just one big pain in the ass.

(Crud look at all the dust here. Blows a little bit of the dust off and coughs a little. So we were in the middle of A Talia, Catie, and Baron three.....Oh right different Aurstur. So umm here goes nothing and Crow Senpi I did it.)
Location: Midnight Cathedral
"Barrrrron I am bored how long do these ceramonies usually last," Catie whined
"Catie dear you have to understand time flows differently for vampires like me, and Baron," Sam told Catie. "Days, weeks, months, are nothing for us, depending on how sacred the ceremeony is," Sam told Catie.
"But I wanna see Baron's daddy now," Catie protested.
"Umm Catie you know he's my dad we are trying to see, right," Baron said.
"But Baron I don't wanna be here for months," Catie groaned.
"SIgh, okay fine let me go see if I can go see what Hellel is up to," Sam said as he left and went to go talk with one of Hellel's attendants.
Hour Later
"Hey umm Baron I got some bad news it seems like Hellel was called away on urgert business," Sam said. "We can back lateer but for now he isn't here," Sam told Baron.
"Umm that's okay even though it is disappointing to finally come all this way only to see that he isn't here," Baron sighed.
"Well now we know where to find him and how to get here," Sam said.
"Yeah your right, well Catie lets go back to my place for now," Baron said. "Ms. Talia do you have any plans or anything?" Baron asked.

(Hey Crow Senpi are you pleased. Do you notice me yet Crow Senpi?)
Location: Midnight Cathedral
"Oh okay, I think," Baron said uneasily.
"Ahhh so we are leaving?" Catie groaned.
"Well I am pretty sure we are more then welcome to stay but again the whole time doesn't have much meaning to us," Sam told her.
"Ffffffiiiinnnneee," Catie said as she let out an exaggerated groan. "Even though my tribe ages slowly to," Catie huffed.
"Umm Catie you know I am over 150 years old right?" Baron asked.
"Yeah and I am at least 225 years old," Sam told Catie.
"Woooowwww that's really old like grandpa and grandma age, ehhh and here thinking that I was 75 years old was pretty old," Catie told them.
"Okay guys should we?" Sam said.
"Oh right come Catie," Baron said as him and everyone else got up.
"There's something I wanted to tell them but for the life of me I can't remember," Sam thought.
As Baron, Catie, and Sam left the Midnight Cathedral, a magical symbol on Sam's hind leg began to glow. Baron and Catie said there goodbyes to Talia as they retired for the evening. "That's right I forgot about the spell the Cathedral places on those that leave," Sam said. "Unless you get a seal placed on you by one of the members of the Cathedral or Lounge your memory of the day will be erased,". "Oh great Baron and Catie are already asleep, and who knows where Talia went off to,". "Ehh well tomorrow is a new day and Talia is a type 4 so who knows how the spell will affect her unfortunately Baron and Catie may not be so lucky,". "Well at least I have the key and letter and I have a seal placed on me," Sam said as he drifted asleep.

The next day Baron awoken next to Catie who was still snoring away next to him. Baron made his way downstairs and saw the front door was slightly cracked. "Sam how many times do you have to be warned," Baron said.
The village Baron grew up was small, a few houses here and there, a pub, and a couple of shops and that was back when Baron was growing up. Everyone who might have known about Baron or who or what he is has passed away. Nowadays barely anyone lives here and its little more then a rest stop for people looking for a place to stop and rest in there journey to some of the bigger and more populated areas. Baron walked onto the front porch where he saw Sam laying on the steps looking out across the town.
"Sam how many times do you have to be told about leaving the front door opened?" Baron chided Sam.
"Oh sorry I must have forgot," Sam said.
"Anyways so when are we going to this Cathdreal place," Baron asked Sam.
"Sigh its like I thought Baron doesn't remember being at the Cathedral or Lavendar Lounge," Sam thought.
"Oh eventually, have to do some preparations first," Sam told Baron. "The Cathedral isn't a place you can just go up to,". "Anyways we will be going back eventually," Sam said.
"Back what are you talking about," Baron wondered as Catie came downstairs.
"Yaaaaawwwwnnnn that was a good nights rest and the stuff before we went to sleep wasn't bad either," Catie said with a mischievous grin.
"Err ummm right," Baron stammered out. "So what now?" Baron asked.
"Its morning the day is young how about we just enjoy the nice breeze for now," Sam told Baron.
"Your right," Baron said as he sat on the porch. Catie then flopped right next to Baron and placed her head on Baron's lap.

After Catie and Baron went to bed for the night, Talia stalked around outside their room for a bit, then patrolled around the inn, searched the town a bit, then went back to sitting right outside their room. Just in case someone followed from that... weird place. With the really good booze. Eventually, she felt something probing at her mind. She tried to fight it off, but the spell is exceptionally strong. The strain is too much, and she passes out trying to fight it off.
Talia wakes up in a strange bed and no memory of the night before. She forces herself to stay calm instead of bolting up. This is hardly the first time this has happened. She doesn't sense anyone else in the room, and she can see her knives on the dresser. Heck, she's even fully clothed. Comfortable bed, too. She sits up and stretches before trying to remember... what...
Someone tampered with her memories. That is disconcerting. Extremely. For someone to alter - erase - her memories is already impressive, but to just put her to bed afterward...? She finds her pouches and shoes sitting near the knives and heads out to investigate. The hall looks vaguely familiar, but she doesn't bother trying to force the memories out. She knows it's a waste of time and energy.
She heads downstairs and finds the owner of the inn getting things ready for the day. He gives her a nervous greeting. "Hello, there," she answers back. "Haha... This may sound a bit odd, but do you know how I got here? I must have been rather drunk last night, I do not remember anything about yesterday."
"You, uh, seemed fine to me. Showed up here yesterday morning, had a meal, ran off, came back with some of our other guests, seemed to be together... Asked for a room - two rooms, and... well, you came back by yourself and left a few minutes later, then came back shortly. I found you asleep out in the hall and... er... y'know. Put you to bed."
"Oh? Why, thank you! What great service. I will make sure to recommend you to all my compatriots, hm?"
"Er... Your... compatriots? No... offense, but that's... not... necessary..." The innkeeper's clearly uncomfortable. "I mean... you... are... a... y-y'know..."
"Assassin? Bounty hunter? Mercenary? Adventurer? Well, it does not really matter what you think I am. No recommendations," she promises. "Do you know which way the people I can in with went?"
The innkeeper points her towards the door. "The pair sitting on the porch with the cat. Can't miss them. The lady sticks out like a sore thumb." He leans in and whispers. "She's got pink hair."
"Oh, my!" Talia whispers back. "I should investigate. And thank you again."
Talia quietly steals out the door and quietly checks out the group cuddling on the porch. Oh... How romantic. And cute. And she has a... tail... Well, that explains why she was traveling with them. But were they the cause of her missing memories? Or did she meet someone while out in the town? Or... Hm.

"Oh look Talia, is awake I wonder," Sam thought as she went towards the inn.
"Sam where are you heading off to?" Baron asked.
"I thought I noticed somebody familiar, just wanted to check it out," Sam said as he went towards the inn.
Catie picked up her head as she caught an intriguing scent. "I know that scent but from where," Catie wondered as she rose up from the porch. "I can't put my finger on it but this scent smells familiar," Catie said as she sniffed the air.
"Umm Catie are you okay?" Baron asked confused.
"Shush," Catie said to Baron. "This nose doesn't lie and its picking up on something," Catie said as she began sniffing around the house.
Meanwhile Sam made his way to the inn and said to Talia; "Meow Meow,". Sam rubbed up against Talia's leg like he wanted to get her attention.
