So, the recent posts in the LOTUS topic have lead me to create this. The poll pretty much says it all. Do you guys and gals think I should create a sub board solely for PvP?
The upcoming crossover RP would then be placed there, as well as any future PvP heavy topics. This could possibly include both CYOAs and RPs, as well as other topics in the future.

I thought the Crossover would be with the other RP topics and PvP would be just "X character vs. Y character" threads where they fight each other for possibly trivial reasons.
Like Death Battle, but with less analysis and more fighting.

Death Battle has some serious bias though. Seriously, SS4 Goku would utterly destroy Superman in a fight. Being launched into the sun would not kill him.

Ah, okay... Maybe I misunderstood HD's original question then. I thought he was asking for a new board for OZ. But if we're all okay with OZ remaining on the RP board, then that changes things slightly. I have no problem with creating a 'Smash Bros' board, if that's what you guys want. It may even help put some OP arguments to bed.  Instead of having 'My character is stronger than yours' arguments, we could change it to 'You and me, Smash Bros, Nyow!' That might actually help, oddly enough. |

Also, we'd all need to decide on general rules first, though I think Empire's template could work fine for that. Aside from maybe an additional "Timeline Placement" tag, I'd think everything besides the template can differ from topic to topic (like whether battles are to the death or not). |
