I like the structure SEMX. Although, I think that in general organized civilization should be scarce. The land is supposed to be overrun with monsters after all.

So, I'll have a rough draft of the map(Without SM's ideas) done in a day or so. It won't have the finishing touches, like Roshi visible beneath the continent, but it will have enough to give us something to build on and discuss. A quick recap on what the map needs: ° Yggdrassil, in the center. ° A large evil Empire, somewhere in the north of the continent. ° Several smaller Shrines, dotted about the landscape. ° Mountains, dungeons, and a massive underground cave system(I'm feeling spiteful today ) ° An evil tower for the Man behind the Curtain, or something similar. ° Smaller towns and landmarks, and smaller Kingdoms/Nations to rival the Empire. Is there anything else I'm missing? A hotspringAnything else is small enough to not need to be in the map (like log cabins in the middle of nowhere) and can just be inserted whenever needed, I think. Cool. I'm currently trying to figure out how to resize Yggdrassil, to make it suitably massive. This will just be a rough draft, mind you. The real thing will probably have a much larger scale. That begs the question, though. How big do we want the main continent? I'm currently using a 1000 mile scale, so the continent is 1000 miles wide, roughly. Does it need to be larger? I don't think it should be above 5000 miles. Also, I'm going to create the Sub Maps, when I finish the main one, which will include Dungeon maps, the underground cave system(Which will serve as another 100 floor dungeon, as the antithesis to Yggdrassil), Yggdrassil itself, and the Wizard's Isle. Now, here's my take on everything. The main continent sits atop a massive lake, in a caved in portion of Roshi's shell. Roshi's shell was damaged during the creation of this world/universe, however that happened. This saves me from having to hand draw Roshi, as the Program I'm using doesn't support something like that. While it is still a lake, it is massive enough to appear as an Ocean to the inhabitants of OZ. No one has ever found the lake's edge, or 'the edge of the world'. Instead of placing the Wizard's Tower/Lair on the main continent, I think it would be better to create a whole new island, with a sinister, evil theme to it. This gives us another place to explore, besides the main continent and the two 100 floor dungeons. The cave system will actually be a pathway into Roshi's shell, meaning you'll be traveling into Roshi Himself. To illustrate this, the lower floors of the cave dungeon will appear alive in various ways. Anything to add?

Maybe a Mass Graveyard?

Oh yeah, can we add a massive underground chamber of lava? I'd like to have a bridge there that goes from Roshi to the core of Oz, opening up a second secret dungeon where we can gather elemental weapons.

Do not listen to Emppy, Fen-Fen. He is very bad. Spam will definitely get you modded. Unless it's directed in World Discussion, and it doesn't violate any rules. In that case, go right ahead. On topic... I've already covered the 'mass graveyard' thing. The Great Marsh, on the northwestern coast of OZ, is also called Dead Man's Walk. Think the Dead Marshes, from LotR. There are also graveyards in most towns and cities, I would believe.

YES! Finally caught up in this topic! Now I can work on joining, since everything already discussed sounds fine! *Has two RP characters in LOTUS, and one in the 5e game that hasn't even started, none of whom are especially powerful* F***. I guess I have Outsiders, but hardly anyone reads that, and the main villains haven't really been introduced yet (though they could totally be used with little spoiled). And my characters still wouldn't be all that powerful either, except for maybe Robin... F***.

It just hit me that we'll probably want a separate sheet for summons.
I'll get to it once I finish PMing myself the Final versions of my character sheets so that I can C+V them almost immediately once the topic opens.

Alright, the rough draft of OZ's main continent is done sooner than expected. The map is only a standard imperial scale(1000 miles), so I couldn't fit everything. Obviously the map is going to need to be much, much larger. But for now, this is a fine starting point. Here is the link. Please keep in mind this is my very first time using this program. I'm not going to be perfect. s1300.photobucket.com/user/ViceNeo2003/media/AUTOSAVE_zpsa459b6eb.png.html?filters[user]=137490466&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=0Also, please ignore the horrible coloring of the Contour Lines around the mountains and desert. For some strange reason, converting the Batch messed up some of the colors. Which makes me very sad, considering how beautiful the colors were before.

I find the shortage of bodies of water odd.

Yeah, that's one thing I need to change, but for some reason, creating lakes with CC3 is tricky. There wasn't enough room to add much in the standard scale.
When I start the final draft, I'll add more rivers and lakes.

We could have a few villages inserted toward the areas South-East and North-west of the Tree to have something taking up the whole-lotta-nothing around that area. Anyway a few things. First of all, THE SUMMONS SHEET!
Questions, comments, and suggestions are appreciated. On a related note, I think Card Characters should have a blue border while Summons have red ones. --- Topic 2: What kinds of items should be on sale? Since we're doing Cameo Items and we've confirmed that we have merchant Annas wandering around (with dimension-defying inventories holding stuff from various RPs and CYOAs because it's Anna we're talking about here), I think we should start suggesting items to be sold. I'll start: - Ceela's Shocksword from Team Nova: A shortsword with a switch on the hilt. When turned on, electricity courses through the blade allowing for electrical attacks. Can disrupt lower-grade technologically-created barriers. Runs on a battery. Mildly expensive to buy. - Hugh's Element Gauntlets from Team Nova: A pair of gloves. Bro-fist them together to attach Burn, Freeze, Electric, and Poison effects to physical strikes, or firmly grasp something to apply the effects that way. The effect equipped is signified by a gem-like thing at the back of the hand. Red is burn, blue is freeze, electric is yellow, poison is purple, normal is white. An expensive purchase. - Ether: Medicine that restores 10 PP to a Pokemon's move. Pokemon only. - Max Ether: Medicine that restores all the PP to a Pokemon's move. Pokemon only. - Elixer: Medicine that restores 10 PP to all of a Pokemon's moves. Pokemon only. - Max Elixer: Medicine that restores all PP to all of a Pokemon's moves. Pokemon only. - Revive: Revives and partially heals a Fainted Pokemon. Pokemon only. - Max Revive: Revives and completely heals a Fainted Pokemon. Pokemon only. Rare and expensive. - Lum Berry: Restores status conditions. Not very tasty. - Protect-Generator from Team Nova: Creates barriers that can take the form of either a wall or a dome. The barrier can absorb most attacks, but shatters under prolonged stress or particularly powerful attacks. Expensive. - Type-7 Gun Frame: Attach to a gun (comes in all forms). Causes bullets to gain magic damage properties, though the function is mostly the same. - Type-6 Gun Frame: Attach to a gun (comes in all forms). Adds fire damage to bullets fired from the weapon. - Addle-bomb: A smoke bomb that releases a gas that clouds the minds of people and causes them to have their magic begin failing or even backfiring. - Type-1 Gun Frame: Attach to a gun (comes in all forms). Shots do no damage and instead create a barrier of light in front. The barrier is one way, so projectiles fired behind the barrier go through without a hitch. Expensive. Disclaimer: Frame is fragile; no refunds. - Bear trap: A bear trap. - Bronze Sword: A bronze sword. Not very powerful, but cheap and surprisingly durable. - Log: A tree log. Someone somewhere's gotta find a use for this. - Reaper Card: Fires a weak dark magic projectile. Reusable to an extent. - Draco-away: A repellent spray that apparently keeps dragons away... Untested, so use at your own risk. Yes, I know the Ethers, Elixers, and Revives are a bit too Nova-orientated, but we still need something to justify the Pokemon not Struggling to death toward the later stages of the RP, and the Revives are there because I think reviving Downed Pokemon the same way as with Card Characters would be a tad tedious.

Elixirs are also from all FE games, so we'll need another generic term for the 'heal all item'. Pokemon don't need to be revived at Yggdrassil, because they aren't CCs or MCs. They're allies.
I'll list my two Summons tomorrow, but I'll go ahead and toss some items into the proverbial plot.
Hoplon Guard: Negates the damage from one attack. Only usable once, and pretty pricey.
Iote's Shield: Prevents 'super effective' damage(It becomes normal damage). Only usable once. Lasts for 1 minute. Only usable by characters that fly.
Brave Sword/Lance/Axe/Bow: A fairly powerful weapon. Increases speed.
Meggido Staff: Summons meteors down on one opponent. Only usable once.

How about Iote's Shield instead of just reducing SE damage, it also removes resistances, making it more balanced.

How about Iote's Shield instead of just reducing SE damage, it also removes resistances, making it more balanced. Ah, that's my bad. I forgot to mention it was a one time only item, like Hoplon Guard. It only lasts for one minute, and it's pricey. There's no need to balance it.
