Would It be possible to make a new forum in the "Roleplaying" area for this? Or should we do it in the RP forum?

Well if we're going to start a whole category of "PVP roleplaying" then it would be nice to have somewhere to put it. If we put those topics in the main RP board, would you be able to move them to another sub-board later if too many of them started cluttering up the place?

Because the Novels sub-board isn't a barren wasteland, mirite? Each fight could be it's own topic, with a stickied Guidelines thing with a template for a sheet like to be posted in the OP of every topic to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Hmm... I think creating an entire board solely for PvP might be a little excessive, but I'm the Admin. My vote doesn't count. So I'll create a new topic to discuss this properly.
Although... The more I think about it, I'm having trouble justifying a board like the Novel board over the PvP board.

Did we ever settle on the specifics of Oz's technology, or are we leaving it as "magiktech that looks modern/futuristic" and winging it the rest of the way?

How about Civil War era?
I like the idea that the cards managed to take over because they had no way of preparing for them. Plus, it more closely resembles the original Oz's technology.

I like the idea of outlandish fantasyesque technology, but anything works for me.

Everything is super technological, but referred to in fantasy language and packaged as such. "Here's your health potion of biological repair nanogenes"
The setting only looks rustic since the land is in ruin and nothing stays built for long.

Well, we're already using a world on top of a giant omnipotent turtle named Roshi as a map, so I don't think outlandish technology will really make much of a difference.

You don't have to use technobabble. It's just magic to everyone. Spells and potions are the norm and you never have to say more than "I used healing magic". But if you ask what's in the potion, or how the spell works...then you technobabble

Pretty much what HH said. since they all come from different worlds, different ingredients are used. So maybe what works for one character, won't work for another? How's that?

No, since it should provide a middle ground for all characters.

If a human from one RP can get healed by medicinal herbs, why would a human from another more futuristic RP suddenly have an immunity to it?

Some of these characters aren't human.
