Discussion Topic for Oz: Crossroad of Legends (Crossover RP)

Just throwing it out there, if the monkeys would yank away Yuleian weapons to use them themselves, go right ahead. Ideally in terms of casualties, the Legionaires would have a better time surviving against the monkeys than the main branch soldiers. I'd think it was obvious, but I still had a feeling someone somewhere would post about seeing the Legion getting effortlessly manhandled or something.

Got tired of waiting for approval on Corva, so I just changed Perish Song to Shadow Ball.

It's certainly not because I convinced myself it would be utterly useless.

I don't remember if Marian or the updated newAoD!Rand and Lily got approval, either... I don't think they did.

Perish Song was a lot more thematic though. Are the Nova earplugs getting retconned?

How's the OZ planning coming? Do I need to post Ethan eradicating more monkeys? Also, am I allowed to have Ethan use Meteor Storm, or is that off limits for a while?

Got bored on the ride home. And carsick from trying to sleep. And it was a very long ride. So I ran some battles in my head to rank my Oz characters. I know, Oz power-balancing and all that but. Discarding that. What I came up with:

Pierre < Ignius < George (no phone) < Alice < Franklin < Paen ~= June < Horatio ~= Gale < George (with phone) < Rand ~= Lily < Marian < Corva (no Pokemon) < Geraldine < Waite (no demons) ~= Corva (with Pokemon) < Waite (with demons)

Annnnd Talia's a spoiler-type enemy that doesn't fit into the scale cleanly.

Mystic < Kitty < Purple < Frey & Dino

This is accurate only under the circumstance of no balancing. Mystic's Psyshield is powerful and can reflect anything as long as she knows what direction the attack is coming from. Generally, she's be nearly invincible by combining her foresight and Psyshield, but Kitty's ability to freeze time would make Mystic's skills pointless since Kitty could attack from multiple angles at once. Mystic would simply be overwhelmed while fighting Purple and Frey & Dino. Kitty can freeze time to attack, but afterwards, she's unable to move. Without having stored up energy beforehand, the most she can move by pushing her limits is eight times. With only eight attacks, she would not be able to defeat every enemy and despite being very powerful, she's a glass cannon and would be wiped out quickly by even a single Pokemon surviving. Frey & Dino win because Ghosta can copy Kitty and use her own abilities against her, essentially evening out the playing field and giving Frey & Dino enough strength to crush Kitty while she's busy fighting herself. Frey & Dino beat Purple because the two have enough numbers to keep up with Purple. Even though Purple is very skilled at commanding his Pokemon, the Pokemon are not all that special in themselves. With the Pokemon being kept busy while Frey & Dino systematically wipe out one at a time, they can easily take him down. Their strength is fighting together. When separated, they are weak. Purple's trump card Ice Xerneas summon is also easily canceled out using Ghosta to copy it.
