Neo's post... Maybe I'm still having trouble understanding people lately. I mentioned that last night. Or maybe I need to clear things up because I made it overcomplicated... June's unrelated to Grima. Or anyone important. She comes from an entirely unimportant family. She was the Ross/Mozu/etc. The closest thing she has to a mark of Grima is a massive scar made by Grima's talon. Which I now realize is probably the mark Neo mentioned. Paen (and Lily/Rand) have manakete blood. From Medeus. But can't transform for a plot reason that'll pop up in AoD... someday. Paen has a brand and is king because he can essentially channel Grima's spirit as his voice. Basically the same as Tiki does for Naga. Exept that Paen hates Grima with a passion, but that's neither here nor there. But he's also the one able to weild the sword Flamberge, Grima's answer to Falchion, so that's nice. It's also what gave June that scar. Rand has a brand on his hip and Lily has a brand on her back and will eventually take over Paen's job as the voice. Speaking of trouble understanding, did Emmpy edit that post? I saw it but passed out afterward. I could've sworn it... Eh. |

Holy **** I'm stupid. Yes, there is indeed a 3rd person who can use healing magic right now. And he's much, much better at it than June. I'm controlling him.
Emmpy, did those carts have meh gear like mend staves or good gear like fortify and physic?
If you want to get technical and biological - oh God, yes I do - since June gave birth to Rand relatively recently, there would possibly still be trace (very trace) amounts of Medeus' blood in her veins.

I was going with Ethan could sense Grima on her because she had Rand Lilly recently, and because she has Paen's card. So he's actually mostly sensing Paen- and yes, since Paen is Grima's Voice and has Medeus's blood in him, Ethan would definitely be able to sense him, even through the card. June also has Rand and Lilly's cards. Ethan doesn't know about the cards yet, so he would think it all came from June.
Granted, I did forget that Paen has Medeus's blood and not Grima's. But that doesn't change much. Ethan actually spent time around Grima and only knows Medeus from the legends, so he would sense Grima's presence emanating from June and not Medeus's blood, and he would automatically assume it was because she's Grima's descendant, due to how much of him he's sensing.
The "mark" of Grima refers to Grima's presence on her.

Also, Ethan would sense Earth Dragon blood(Medeus) and assume it's Grima's.

But now it makes sense why Catie's drawn to June, she can smell a hint of the nice knife lady from Austur.

I'm like... 99.9% sure we established the "cards" are little interdimensional pockets that hold the characters inside. Definitely not cardboard. And Ethan can sense Earth Dragons across dimensions, so long as the dimension is parallel or "close" to his own. |

Is Ethan obviously-not-really-Grima enough that someone who spent years studying Grima trying to figure out how to make his own Risen army, with Blackjack and hookers, would know he's merely pretending? |

Ethan's not pretending to be Grima. Grima wishes. Ethan's technically Grima's great great grandaddy.
But to answer your question, Ethan's currently in his "Dark Dragon" form, and he looks very similar to Grima. Enough to give Horatio a hell lot of pause, at the least.

GX is going to delay starting the Elia fight until I'm home tomorrow. Why would that change anything? You're not involved with the PM thread. Future-doctor's orders. It would defeat the entire purpose of pre-writing things to make sure nothing's there to upset you if you're there for the pre-writing. Probably not going to be on much until Thursday so just move it or something. Aw, but Bunny! I'm gonna lose my bet with Emmpy about when the mailbag would be done... |

June is about to have a heart attack with Ethan around. Baron has almost a respect for him just because he respects the power and aura coming off of Ethan. Bowser is bored already.
I think those responses seem about par. Unless Bowser was suppose to be pleading for his life or something.
