Appearance (disguised): 5'7" (1.7m), average build, clean-cut black hair, brown eyes, square glasses. Usually wears a dressy white shirt with black pants.

Bio: Ryuusei's ability to differentiate fantasy and reality has always been tenuous at best, and the LOTUS procedure has not helped matters. He was more than willing to become a LOTUS in order to "unlock his hidden potential." He is easily excitable, and his lack of control of his inner thoughts often bleeds through into his abilities. However, he takes his role of blending into normal people quite seriously, for fear of "them" discovering his "true nature." He uses the pseudonym Baracia.
Abilities: Long-range, multi-angle hologram projection via a micro-projector array built into Ryuusei's skin. At extremely close range, the density of the photons can create hardlight. Cybernetically enhanced occipital lobe assists in hologram formation and grants great perceptive ability. A series of cameras provides 360-degree vision. However, prolonged use of complex projections (beyond a simple disguise) without plentiful coolant brings a great risk of overheating. Additionally, his micro-processor array is extremely fragile and requires considerable time to self-repair; damage to multiple lenses will cause holograms to appear distorted. Holograms may also be distorted in particularly humid or smoky atmospheres.
Energy Source: Standard low-sodium human diet supplemented with large amounts of salt water (used as coolant) and silicone (used to self-repair micro-projector arrays).

HHD, GX was wondering what she could use to manipulate ions to do stuff like form alloys and salts. Well the easiest way would be to convert target substances to plasma and then reconstruct through either Electrostatic or Optical manipulation. Use tons of micro-lasers to capture the plasma ions and assemble like Lego. You could also do it in a chemical sense with some kinds of super active catalysts. The LOTUS would be advanced enough to create unique catalysts in their body that force the rapid restructuring of particles as desired. Just two ideas of the top of my head. Cdm6, your character sounds great. No problems here. |

Well, the specifics were more like direct manipulation of the ions themselves.
I.E. Pointing at someone and then causing them to crystallize from the inside-out by forming salts from various metals, ions, acids, and other substances in their body.
What I meant, and what she means, is what actual devices would be used. I suggested van der graaf generators and magnets.

Besides magnets, we could go full techno-babble and say she uses "photonic catalysts" or "radio catalysts" where you have penetrating light/other radiation that promotes the chemical reactions. We are talking about rearranging thier ions, right? |

I want her to have the same abilities and everything but a little more human. Like she gets her abilities because she had machine parts fused to her?? Or something like that.

Alright, so when you say the LOTUS that declined the Armada became humans, are you saying that those that were already LOTUS and had served for a time can get the choice to become human?
Just wondering because I need to know this before I can craft a bio. I don't want to mess something up by going, "He served as a LOTUS before deciding to become human." And not, "He chose to become a human."
The difference is that one implies he was in active service and fighting, and the other does not. Just want to make sure to clarify if the LOTUS were put there fighting before the RP began. The intro is pretty vague about it. br]
I'm praying energy swords and all that are in this... Cause I'm fumbling hard.
