"No, I mean who would want to put Neal in their mouth?"
Joshua paused as he remembered who he was talking to.
"...No, wait, not that way! I meant that he'd still be crushed briefly by the time Kyogre gets to him so Kyogre would have to deal with feeling and tasting his bones", he stressed the 's' in 'bones', "and internal body fluids and I should stop talking right now."

"No problem." Katherine replied. "At least we've got more done in the past while than the others have done in the past several days. In terms of getting to know each other at least."

"Hmph, well that's inconvenient." Anna floats alone, the sole inhabitant of the void left in the wake of Arceus' universe wipe. "Now what will I do to become even more obscenely rich...? I guess I could go back, but..." She folds her arms and pouts. "That's it, I'm hunting that freakin' goat deity down! Nobody shuts down my show but me!" Meanwhile, in a newer, sexier reality... The audience patiently awaits their hostess' return, "treated" to a much longer than usual view of the curtain. It's a nicer curtain, too, gold embroidered and everything. Not that the audience would ever appreciate that, since by their reckoning it was always that way. Sometimes you just do a nice thing, even if nobody will thank you for it. A portal opens backstage, and out walks Anna. She gasps upon beholding her new workplace. "It's so... big!" That quite literally is what she said, eyes practically filled with stars. "And that curtain...!" The executives exchange a few confused glances as Anna continues to skip through the building, marvelling at all of the changes. "Bigger audience! Cleaner bathrooms! ...Hunkier Jake! Oh, thank you freakin' goat deity! This is so sweet~!" "So... should we go live now...?" A very befuddled executive asks. ----- The curtain rises, the somewhat graceous hostess taking center stage. "Hello, everyone~! Are you ready for more questions?" "There is still more of this nonsense? ...Very well, the sooner you ask the sooner I might return to my work.""Oh, Mewtwo!" Anna weeps, pulling the legendary Pokemon into a tight embrace. "How I missed your pissy attitude in that cold, awful void! But it's OK now, we can continue! Better than ever!" "Unhand me, you madwoman!" Mewtwo hisses. "Blast it all, I had thought I would be free from this! Just ask your damned questions already!""Awww, but you're so cuddly!' "I am NOT cuddly, vile wench!"
Anna makes an offended face, then lets go. "Fine. I guess it's time for some questions, then." Do you eat?"How would I obtain energy if not through food? I may have been created in a lab, but any differences between my biology and that of any Pokemon are superficial at best."Do you ever sleep?"I am required to rest my body and mind, although I am still more cognisant than your average human in my slumber. Perhaps it is more akin to meditation."What would you do in your spare time if you had any?"I have never considered that... Perhaps I would like to someday try my hand at simulated war games."If you ever took up a weapon to fight with, would your weapon-of-choice be a spoon?"I use a fork. It is much like a spoon... only pointier."What's your favourite song?"I dislike songs. Voices unaccompanied by brainwaves are unnatural and disorienting to me."What music do you like?"Classical and instrumental jazz."Is Giratina the true evil, or is Arceus? (Barring the truly evil Nova, of course.)"If there is any such thing as evil, I have never encountered it. Team Nova are merely reactionary cowards. Giratina and Arceus? They are more within the realm of forces of nature than of human ethics."You have bowling fingers. Do you bowl?"Bowl...? Is this some form of slang term for using Palkia drugs? I said that I am not interested!"How do you feel about Plasma being Xerneas?"I would have preferred Team Rocket, at least they are operationally savvy. My issue with teams Aqua, Magma and Plasma is that they think to speak for me when they do not."What are the qualifications for becoming a part of Zero Squadron?"Green is the one who selects them, but as I understand your average Zero Squadron member is of the highest tier in skill, capable of hunting a former comrade to the end... and not to be missed by anyone."With your hyper-intelligent mind can you answer the eternal question: Why do bad people like Michael Bay keep getting away with their crimes?"The most successful criminals convince the world that they are heroes to be celebrated. But who is Michael Bay...?"And the other eternal question: How much is a life worth?"More than the sum of its parts, I have come to realise."And the greatest question of all: What is the perfect cooking time for a microwave burrito?"Do not attempt to slip a trick question past me. It is obvious to anyone that eating only one microwave burrito is impossible."Who would win in a battle royale between you, Yveltal and Xerneas?"I have considered the scenario and in roughly eighty-seven of every one hundred possible outcomes I am victorious. However, I am not so confident as to try the remaining twenty-three percent without good reason."Anna grins as she looks at the next cue card. "Ooh, finally my favourite part! It's time to heat things up..." "Oh, joy of joys..." Mewtwo says sarcastically. Keep, Pokekiss, Kill: Yveltal, Xerneas, Giratina"What is this, a treehouse? Are we children in a primary school?""Just answer the question!" "Oh, very well... Keep Xerneas as she is useful to my ends, kiss Yveltal as even I struggle to imagine how that might work and kill Giratina because again, it suits my ends."Do you consider yourself male or female and do you care that humans have written and drawn you explicitly as both (and in one case, both at the same time)?"Most humans assume that I am male, and I see no reason to tell them otherwise. Drawings cannot hurt me... although that human potential is wasted on such vulgarity is rather alarming."Grant and Meridia or John Doe and Yancy?"I do not understand this question.""Which one do you ship?" Anna clarifies. "Neither."In your short lifetime, you have seen the horrors of war and witnessed the darkest depths of both humanity and Pokemon, but have you ever seen any of the more outlandish doujins out there? Actually, would it even be appropriate to show a minor such dark content?"I would not expend time or energy on those trivialties."Anna frowns. "Quit giving boring answers! We're running out of time!" "Truth serum."Anna frowns even harder. "Fine... last question." Why did Anna and co. have a Slave Leia costume on stand-by in the first place?"I cede the floor to Anna.""Ah, well... It was for season three because... reasons!" Mewtwo looks at Anna questioningly. "Is that so...?""If you say anything I swear to Me I will end you!" She whispers harshly. "Show's over, folks~!" The curtain draws to a close, but a few moments later everyone in the audience could clearly hear Anna squeal in delight, yelling... " Higher pay, too!? Oh, Arceus, if you're trying to bed me it's working...!"

Doctor Phineas Celeste existed in a completely empty void, "existed" being the only term that could be accurately applied here since without anything else as a reference point it's impossible to lie, sit, stand, float or take any other position. The Veilstone Sword existed beside him in a similar state.
"Hello?" the man called out.
His mind flickered. He couldn't be in a void of nothing if he was able to talk. Talking meant air. The moment he realized this the void conveniently filled with light as well. He was welcome.
"Ah, thank you. It seems whatever mess I'm in is reasonable at least."
Reasonable, yes. But the mess Celeste was currently in was more than anything else...judgmental. The Doctor was slowly forming a theory of his circumstances, but then stopped to stutter a bit.
"Uh...wait wait hold on. How did that happen? Like...like..it's not talking. You're not talking to me. You're in my...not my mind, that's psychic, no it's like...you're in...my..."
Celeste wouldn't find a word since no words for it exist. It felt an awful lot like suddenly remembering that you are in a dream.
"YES! Yes that's it exactly! But...wait..how...?"
But for reference's sake, one might find that Doctor happened to be following this conversation through narration.
"Narration? How is...what is...um...uh...ah...my head hurts...Dear Arceus how are you doing that!?"
He smirked a bit despite his confusion.
"I ask that sincerely...am I right?"
Because you see, if one were to shatter time, break the fourth wall of reality, and fall into the void, what else would one find themselves confronted with if not their Creator?
One by one, figures began phasing into the space behind spaces that Celeste occupied. The figures darkened into the shape of black letters, and soon after Celeste recognized them as Unown. His hands twitched and he raised them, suddenly remembering that the Unown he had befriended, Dubstep and Rocket, were brought with him into the void. They detached themselves form their usual positions and drifted off to join the others, wiggling slightly as if waving good bye.
Celeste waved back as they were lost into the ever growing crowd. Not sparing a moment for melancholy, he beckoned the Veilstone Sword into his hands and raised it defensively. The Unown began swirling through the void, making an eerie humming noise similar to radio static. Celeste felt the need to raise his voice above the din, but his words would have been clear regardless.
"Alright! I get it! I'm in too deep. I screwed things up and I'm sorry! I'm really really sorry. But I'm dead set on living so if you want me I'm not going quietly!"
As the Unown converged on him, Celeste wondered if this was what he had sent Red into when he broke into the Hall of Origin. Those thoughts didn't last long however, since he suddenly became more preoccupied with the burst of intense light that exploded from the Unown, and coalesced into the form of a glowing ball in front of him.
The ball spoke telepathically. "Hello. Sorry about the show. I haven't created something from scratch in a while. My usual voice apparently hurts your head, so I thought I'd do something a bit more conventional."
Another burst of light that Celeste had to shield his eyes from, and there stood Arceus in all its holy glory. Its white coat glistened and its eyes stared intensely at the sword in Celeste's hands. Celeste noticed the direction of the stare.
"Oh, uh, sorry, this is probably really blasphemous isn't it." the Doctor said as he hurriedly focused on sheathing it.
"No no, allow me." The Alpha pokemon said, quickly exploding in another burst of light, and reforming in the shape of a human. Specifically, a young female human with red hair. Celeste was quite startled by the change.
"There. Not a pokemon anymore, so you can keep your sword at attention if it makes you feel better."
Celeste was somewhat at a loss for words. "ah...ah...why?"
"Oh this body?" Arceus smiled, "I thought it would make you the most comfortable. After all, she's interviewed you twice."
"I have never seen this person before in my life."
"In another life then maybe." Arceus pulled out some sort of red seed and chewed on it. Ah, so that's what it feels like. Interesting.
Celeste seemed to just have just about had it. "...GAH!" He sent the sword flying further into the void, knowing that he could re-summon it on a whim.
"Arceus is a POKEMON! Dialga and Palkia are POKEMON! You are all god POKEMON! What's this mess with dimensions and realities and...and...and..."
"The universe is much stranger than you could ever imagine. The pokemon Arceus is merely a representation. Nothing more than a way to interact with the creatures that live in his creation."
Celeste clutched his head as the narrating sense of lost dreams filled his very existence again. He came to know that this being is simply a director. Pure imagination. That is the power of Arceus. That is the existence of Arceus.
As he came to, he suddenly found himself sat in a plush chair, inside a fancily furnished room before a table, some silverware, and a china tea set.
"Do you like cheesecake? And how does Earl Grey sound? I'm having a two-for-one on...oh, sorry, that's a bit of the form slipping in. It's on the house this time."
"Wha-wha-WHAT IS THIS?"
"I'm trying to make you feel at home. Only then can we discuss things as equals."
"Equals? EQUALS? You are GOD!"
"A god. A god with a sense of maturity. I respect you just as much as I hope you respect me. From here on out, no more divine acts. Fair?"
She checked the teapot and saw that it was empty. Ok, maybe just one more divine act. Celeste counted to ten and tried to calm down. He sheathed the sword and retorted.
"Maturity? Is that what you call it. I would have said a horrible sense of humour."
Arceus poured tea for two.
"I will take that as a compliment. Humour is needed in this world, and if the Creator has no sense of humour, how could it ever exist? Now then, where should we start?"

Osric slammed his sword into the floor, collapsing the section beneath Grimsely. Osric sprung backwards beginning to sprint down the hall. His maneuver would only give him a few seconds of a lead. He turned a corner and- what his luck, a dead end. He enters a room to his right. A large barred window let's light into what appears to be a study, packed with books and tomes of all kinds. He turns his attention to the window. In a blur, the bars a cut to ribbons, and a moment later, he is out the open window. He considers briefly jumping down, using aura to cushion the landing, but instead he climbs higher. There is no cover below, and if Grimseley catches him, he would be dead. Thinking this, he climbs up to the roof, two floors above, scampering like an Aipom. As his head crests the edge of the roof, red flashes by, and Grimsley's scythe buries itself inches from his face. Startled, he leaps backwards, pushing off the wall onto the earth below. As he flies backwards, Grimsley leaps after him. A look of horror crosses his face as Osric realizes he can't maneuver in air well enough to defend against Grimsley as he aims for a killing blow. Futilely Osric twists in mid air at Grimsely swings his scythe downward, impaling Osric in the abdomen.

The Dragonite circled Stark Mountain almost lazily it seemed to Duncan, yet it never seemed to tire. He watched the beast for a full day now. It showed animosity toward him, but it avoided him as he approached. How Osric's Dragonite ended up here, he did not know, but if he was here, Osric could not be too far. Duncan was done waiting for the Dragonite to return to him. Duncan would take matters into his own hands. --- Micah eyed the pile of weapons in front of him. One of his pistols was empty, he winced as he thought of how the cartridges were spent though, shooting blindly at this pokemon who has done nothing but help him. She still wouldn't get close to him. He could still see the hurt in her eyes when they shared a glance, but she still nursed him back to health. She brought him food, water, and even his old pack and several guns. His hunting rifle was sadly broken in two, but he still had his hand crossbow, his second pistol, and some vials from the package he never got a chance to open. They seemed to be meant to be injected. Perhaps they were adrenaline, or some other stimulant. He never got the chance to try them out. In the distance, Micah heard a roar of outrage.

Kanto Route 11
Riley, Cheryl, Mira, and Marley hid in the cover of the trees as they neared the Mewtwo camp discovered and overrun by Nova soldiers. Riley was using his aura to scout the camp and see where the Mewtwo soldiers were being held.
"Okay, I see our 12 people are in that large, rectangular tent over there, and the rest are Nova troops, but..."
"What is it?" asked Cheryl.
"It's those Nova soldiers", said Riley. "Some of them seem somewhat uneasy."
"It matters not how they seem", said Marley. "They are the enemy, so they must be eliminated."
"Marley does have a point", said Cheryl. "For all we know, they're only nervous that Team Mewtwo would catch wind and send scary individuals like ourselves to tear them apart when they least expect it."
"Mira likes to think she's not scary", muttered Mira.
"I was just saying", replied Riley. "It's not like I was thinking about letting them be. Let's move closer."
---
Marley held her back against a large tree as he held her knives close. She was going to reach to turn on her Cosmic Drive when she heard shouting. She thought one of the others had begun attacking, but as the yelling didn't match typical cries of pain, she moved slightly closer to listen in and see what was happening.
"You've picked a grand time to suddenly wuss out on us!"
"Screw you! You think Nova actually cares what happens to us?! After the thing with the Seviis, I've had it and can't take it anymore! I quit!"
"Watch your mouth, boy! You know what happens to deserters, don't you?"
An argument?
"Let 'im go, boss. It's just one guy, why not let him go?"
"Because private, I--"
"Actually, you know what? Eff it. I'm on his side."
"Et tu, Bob Nelson?! Is there anyone else here whose spine is giving out?!"
A period of silence...
"Well this is actually kinda funny. About a third of the camp suddenly decides to be the hero."
"Fine! You want it that way? I'll give out the punishment for treason myself!"
Realizing what was going to happen, Marley acted. She sprinted across the camp with her Agility-boosted speed and slashed the throat of the apparent commanding officer, who crumpled to the ground. She addressed the other soldiers.
"If you're sane and don't want to be in Nova anymore, keep your hands where we can see them!"
The Nova soldiers who weren't either Nova sympathizers or people smart enough to play along to avoid being sliced quickly sprang up from their idle positions and began reaching for their firearms and Pokeballs. Marley zipped across the camp to meet the would-be attackers and strike before they could. One slash across the throat... Another through the wrist before stabbing through the stomach... Kick another one's rifle away before spinning and inserting the knife again from behind... Slash the opening mechanism of another one's Pokeball to break it before thrusting a knife through the man's knee, kicking the ankle of the other foot, and judo throwing him above her... Repeat...
One soldier got shot from behind as Riley sprang from the tall grass to take out the buddy standing right next to him by knocking him to the ground with a roundhouse, getting on top of him, and striking him in the face. From the other side of the camp, another soldier was thrown back as a Hariyama suddenly struck him with a Bullet Punch. A trio of men with rifles ran out of their tents, only to be telekinetically grabbed by Mira and flung somewhere far away to the east.
The four trainers and Hariyama regrouped at the center of the camp once all the hostiles had been disposed of. Riley raised the palm of his hand at the remaining Nova soldiers and formed an Aura Sphere.
"If you know what's good for you... run."
The soldiers began backing away. Just before they turned to sprint, one of them hastily took of his shirt, threw it in front of him, raised his hands.
"Hey man, don't worry about it, I'm done. I'll just live off life as a carpenter or something."
The man ran with the rest of the deserters. Cheryl thought aloud to himself.
"So it's true. Their actions regarding the Sevii Islands have caused defection rates among Nova troops to increase..."
"We can think about that later", said Riley. "Right now, we have POWs that need extraction."
---
Cheryl's Blissey finished using Softboiled on the last injured Mewtwo soldier.
"That's all of them", she said. "Mira, get ready to teleport."
"Okie-doke!" said Mira. "Everyone, start holding hands with a partner! If you don't comply, Mira won't come back to pick up stragglers!"
As the soldiers complied (albeit expressing embarrassment at the fact that they're essentially making a Circle of Friendship), Mira saw Marley observing her Cosmic Drive at the corner of the room and skipped over to pat her on the back. "Great job there, Marley! You're about as good with that Cosmic Drive as... well, Mira!"
"...That's just it", said Marley. She showed Mira her Drive. It was turned off. "It was turned off this whole time. I haven't had any of my Pokemon use Agility ever since the battle at Flower Paradise."
"Wait...what? Are you saying the Cosmic Drive glitched or something and now you're stuck with a Baton Passed Agility?"
"...It appears to be that way, yes", replied Marley.
Cheryl and Riley walked over to them. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help but overhear", said Cheryl. "Have you tried using your Drive again to see if the effect goes away?"
"It doesn't", said Marley. "Normally, boosts such as Agility are meant to wear off over time, or once they're returned to their Pokeballs. To see that it's effects linger for so long... I'm concerned..."
"You seem to be able to move normally when you want to, though", observed Riley. "Does this mean that you're self-consciously able to control when and where Agility affects you?"
"I suppose so", said Marley. "I do not feel like I experience difficulty performing everyday tasks."
"Then the way I see it, you have nothing to worry about", said Riley. "If anything, it strikes me as a blessing more than a curse; especially after what you were able to do a few minutes ago. Should something have caused negative effects on you, Mewtwo would've noticed something when you met him last week."
Marley smiled. "I suppose you are correct, Riley.
...But enough idle talk. I do believe those soldiers over there are growing impatient."
---
Mira teleported Cheryl, Riley, Marley, and the 12 soldiers in front of the Realgam front gates. It took a while to talk down the seemingly easily-startled front guards that they were not a threat.
"Well gang", said Riley to his friends. "Dismissed. I'll be up at Mewtwo's giving a report."

Sometime in the previous week...Realgam Tower's sickbay remained mostly quiet and empty during this downtime, except for the regular beat of a heart monitor and the ragged breathing of the rescued captive from the Flower Paradise base. Brendan could not remain conscious for more than ten or fifteen minutes at a time, perhaps as a result of constant Gracidea extract injections. Mewtwo would communicate with him during these times, although he would come to expect that broaching certain subjects would trigger the comatose state once more, especially anything involving why he was captured and tortured to the extent that he was. Without invasively reading his mind, Mewtwo would be unable to learn more, and he wasn't inclined to breach a dying man's privacy. However, there was still one man who could help... "You called for me...?" Professor Birch asks as he steps into the room, seeing Mewtwo sitting and waiting on a seat next to some patient's bed. "Welcome, professor." Mewtwo greets. "I have need of... personal knowledge, which I believe you have. Come, look upon the face of the man beside me."Professor Birch hesitantly steps closer, inspecting the patient. At first, he gives no sign of recognition but after a moment his face locks into a look of horror. "Brendan...!" He exclaims. The patient's eyes seem to open just a bit, before closing shut again. "Mewtwo, where did you find this man? What was done to him!?" "Imprisoned both in body and mind off the coast of Sinnoh." Mewtwo explains. "They used him and many others to control the bodies of StarBursted Pokemon. He was the only one we managed to recover.""But... they mutilated him!" Birch says, openly revolted. "Why!?" Mewtwo gazes across the room. "To assert dominance, perhaps. Although I had hoped that you might have a better idea. Am I correct in recalling that you had kept contact with him up until...?"Birch's expression becomes even more downcast. "Yes, he was reported missing shortly after." He replies. "When Sapphire, died he... he..." The professor's eyes light up in realisation. "Of course... of all the arrogance..." He mutters regretfully. "Not that I'd have done any differently, in his position..." "So he did attempt something." Mewtwo confirms. "I have already learned that he set out to meet with the former Yveltal rebellion in Sootopolis City. For what, I cannot say.""Not Sootopolis..." Birch replies. "The Cave of Origin. Brendan must have... He must have tried to reawaken Groudon." "Where he encountered some resistance along the way. As I suspected."Birch chuckles melancholically. "The Brendan I knew wouldn't have even wanted to live with all these scars on his face." He remarks. "But he's struggling for every breath, isn't he?" "Strange how the most desparate situations only incline man to cling more fervently to existance.""Will you try to recover Groudon's whereabouts now?" "Stay with us a while longer. Perhaps he will give us that information if a familiar face is nearby."The seventh day.Mewtwo, Benga and Sycamore all sit around the office table. A surface interface computer displays a map of the world, with red and yellow dots forming all over. The greatest areas covered are in South-Central Sinnoh and Eastern Unova, however yellow dots constantly pop up all over and begin forming into larger red areas.
"It would seem that there's no end to these reports of escalating violence." Sycamore says, lightly chewing on the tip of a pen. Dark bags are formed under his eyes and his hair lacks its usual perk and luster. "Well over fifty executions of treason yesterday alone."
"That just means the plan is working!" Benga says optimistically. "It'll start tipping in our favour any day now."
"Let us not count our Torchics before they hatch, Commander..." Sycamore replies cautiously. "The public opinion was never so swayed against us as we'd be had to believe. This is far from being over, even if tomorrow is our last stand."
"There are still many cards we have yet to play." Mewtwo adds. "However, I believe that the end of this war is just within our reach. I am grateful for your help, Sycamore, but I implore you rest for tomorrow's battle."
Sycamore looks ready to protest, but stays his tongue and nods. "I will. Thank you."
The surface goes black, and Sycamore gets up to take his leave.
"Do you still plan on finding that place?" Benga asks once Sycamore has left.
Mewtwo nods.
"...What if you don't make it out?"
-----
Black turns to face the closing elevator door when he spots a familiar looking couple heading towards him, although he can't quite place who they are. One is a young woman with brown hair in an odd style, and the other is a well dressed man with pale green hair. They seem to be heading toward him, so Black jams his foot in the crevice to stop the door and pryes it open.
"Hey, you need the lift too?" He calls out. "I'll keep it open for ya'!"
-----
Grant stands up, leaning over to gently pick Yancy up and place her against the wall. It briefly reminds him of carrying Meridia back at Eclo Canyon, and he sighs wistfully.
"You should let me look..." He says, gesturing towards her wounded leg nervously. "...At the wounds, I mean. I wish I could do more, but if we don't cover the bleeding then it could get infected. Especially in these conditions..."
He brushes his finger tips against the cracked mask held in his jacket. Both to assure himself that he would keep Yancy well in Joshua's stead, and to feel some connection to his childhood hero in that helpless situation.
Further towards the entrance of the prison, light whistling and soft footsteps can be heard slowly getting closer.

Yancy put her back against the wall and slowly moved her legs into a slightly more comfortable sitting position.
"I-It's fine" she lied. "It's more bruised than anything, and the pain should recede a bit if I don't move for a while. It's nothing that... a Wish couldn't take care of.
Still, thank you Grant. For offering to help, I mean."
---
"Hey, you need the lift too? I'll keep it open for ya'!"
"Yes, thank you!" replied Curtis.
Rosa nodded in gratitude at the man in the elevator as she and Curtis went inside. Cobalion and Keldeo came close behind and joined them inside. Good thing the elevator was spacious, otherwise it would've been uncomfortably crowded in there.
"Mewtwo's office, please", said Curtis.

All Galactic recruits will be offered full amnesty. Galactic no longer takes prisoners. All Galactic recrui- *SHABLAM*
Another mass of torpedoes hit the force fields of sky pillar. The air was filled with artillery fire as the siege continued. Nova and Galactic air ships fired and exploded above the tower. The sea floor was littered with the remains and bodies of navel forces from both sides.
All Galactic recruits will be offered full amnesty. Galactic no longer takes prisoners. All Galactic recruits will be offered full amnesty. Galactic no longer takes prisoners.
The message being broadcast over the fighting and on every frequency possible continued. Jupiter's voice was precisely factual. Any Nova soldier to turn would be protected. Any that did not would be destroyed.
"5th floor and above convert to anti-aircraft. Another fleet from the south. Mars, divert power."
Saturn sat in an observatory room handling tower operations. Rather handy that they're in a siege. It would be troublesome to try and fight with his injuries. 10 stories below Mars responded to her phone.
"I can do better."
She pumped a lever and a few Electrodes exploded, pumping energy in to the variety of psychic types that were augmenting the shields. Meanwhile Jupiter lorded over a holographic representation of the battlefield, calling out orders to the troops.
"Europa, secure ship A6. Callisto, submerge and capture F5. Titan, take the nearest three ships and flank S2 for the kill. Sector B3 is refusing to cooperate. Io, move skyward and take five..."
She switched to yell up at Saturn. "I'm pushing for another ceasefire by the way!"
"Oh good, I could use some quiet."
Meanwhile, a frog, a cat, and a skunk Phantom Forced into Sector B3. Immediately beset by a storm of bullets, a field of Electrify erupted outwards as Purugly's tail swooshed around changing all the bullets into Electric type attacks. Skuntank absorbed them all while chortling.
Kekekeke
Moments after the diversion, the captain was missing his skull and the rest of the bridge crew was experiencing death by poison. Toxicroak plugged some squid-looking thing into the console and the ship started broadcasting a pre-recorded message to all the others.
We refused a very kind offer. We refused a very kind offer. We refused a very kind offer. We refused a very kind offer.
As that continued, every living person on the ship was offed in one way or another as Skuntank burned down the engines. The ship was perfectly intact but dead in the water. Other ships in the area immediately set about sinking the previously allied vessel, but one by one the suddenly stopped as the same fate befell them.
"I'll stand watch. You two sleep. On opposite sides of the ruins, got it?"
"Aw come on, cut me some slack!"
"A watch won't be necessary..."
The three beasts approached one section of the Tanoby ruins, which were utterly deserted. Nobody wanted to be on the Sevii Islands anymore, not even Nova. Their riders dismounted and Molly stepped down off of Entei to approach the solid rock walls.
Eusine raised his hand. "So...how do we get inside?"
Molly smiled a bit and laid her hand on the wall, closing her eyes. A soft static hum seemed to pulse from the wall and then suddenly the rocks were parting to allow them access.
"Nobody else should be able to get in. We're safe here." Molly said quietly.
"And if this place is bombed?" Gary questioned.
"We'll live through it. Come on inside. It's warmer than you'd think."
Molly entered and Eusine was about to follow when Gary forcefully put an arm before him.
"Opposite. Side."
"Dude I get it! Chill out!"

"Don't worry about it..." Grant says dismissively, although he was certainly worrying about it. "We all have to look out for each other. And besides, I wouldn't even be worthy of my name if I didn't offer help to a hurt girl... Er, no offense."
The footsteps draw closer still, although a way's down the hall yet.
-----
Black raises an eyebrow on seeing Cobalion and Keldeo. "With company like that, where else?" He asks rhetorically. "That works for me, though... I'm headed there as well."
Could that girl be Hilda's cousin...? Maybe it's best to test the waters a bit, first.
"You look awfully familiar." He says to them. "Should I know you from somewhere?"

"I love you. "
Ashley was a bit surprised by this. She didn't want to go through with this.
"Like a Sister. You kinda remind me of her, actually. "
"Really, What is she like, Bubba?"
"She was Cute, Smart, Beautiful, Kind, yet Reckless. "
She noticed he'd said 'was'.
"Did Nova-?"
"No. " Bubba sighed. " I want to tell you a story. The Story of how I lost all of my Family, and of how I grew up. "
Ashley looked at his face In the Moonlight. He was leaning over the Balcony, sparing into space,no, his past.
" It Happened When I was 6, she was 4. Our brother was 15. We Lived near Hearthome City. In one of the small corners of the city. A Nice, quiet cozy place. We played together all the time. Even Right up until..... they died." He said this last part shakingly.

Yancy smiled weakly. "None taken. That just means that chivalry isn't dead... Just on life support.
...You... Did you see or hear from the others while I was gone?"
---
"Is it positive or negative recognition?" said Curtis. "I'm Curtis Conray. You may be more familiar with my pre-war persona: Christoph."
"I'm Rosa White", she said. "Good to meet you."
